  1. Galloway Controls the new shirt sponsor. Won't lie, I've never heard of them but their logo is nice and simple and should look nice on the shirts.
  2. Obviously Edinburgh winning would be great but I think is safer to assume a Stirling win than an Annan one this weekend.
  3. This game will be in the background of me sitting watching Bet365 updates on the Falkirk game.
  4. Alloa's pitch is bigger than Falkirk's so I don't think that'll have much of a difference tbf. Please win this Falkirk, as our useless shower of shite certainly won't get the job done themselves.
  5. The budget isn't going to be that big next season and I think it would be too small a budget for McCall to be interested tbh.
  6. He's done a remarkable job at Annan tbh. McCall's stock is in decline IMO. I certainly wouldn't be against him coming but I'm now doubtful he'll be here given our finances.
  7. The longer we're 'Boardless' the more concerned I am he'll be here next season. It doesn't bear thinking about. I've stuck it out this season but I don't know if I could do it again tbh. Have every intention of getting a ST next season just to put the money in, but I won't be if he's still here.
  8. I'd say that applies to you as well. I'm really not sure what else you think a new manager could do. Annan are punching well above their weight just now.
  9. I can't lie, I didn't hear them very clearly, though I could see them bouncing I just meant when the whole crowd was getting behind the team I was surprised how such a stand could make such noise. I don't know if it was the same lot that were singing but there were 7/8 young lads looking for trouble after the game certainly. Shame why they need to do that if they're going to the effort to try and create a bit of atmosphere in the ground.
  10. There wasn't much goalmouth action but when Stirling had a wee smell in the second half I was surprised how noisy it got from the home end.
  11. So you're now admitting there was in fact contact and he never went down for "no reason" like you originally claimed? As expected.
  12. Yeah definitely me. FWIW, I assume you missed your man barging into the 'big lampost', aye?
  13. The rumour I heard was he (Reilly) was going to Stenny. Can't say it was a reliable source though so no idea if true. I can't see many players wishing to stay if Bartley's still here anyway. And I doubt Bartley will want to retain any given it's their fault we're in this position, in his head.
  14. Aye it was a 'good' watch. Very dark in places. The lassie playing Kathy Bates was excellent even if her accent was pretty shite.
  15. I'm a Falkirk supporter next week such is the faith I have in Bartley.
  16. I've even spent time watching him off the ball and don't see him doing much there either tbh. He always looks lost to me. But as I've said before, in his defence, most of the side look lost when trying to carry out Bartley's tactics. It won't surprise me if the boy goes on loan to a side with a manager who isn't completely useless and do well for them next season.
  17. And of course then blame the players for the failure of the system...
  18. We can't expect Bartley to adapt his game plan to get the best out of his better players though. So Gibson can play in a position that hinders him and like it!
  19. Think this is extremely harsh on Gibson. Had a look through their comparative stats:- McKechnie - 19 starts, 1 assist, 2 goals. Gibson - 10 starts, 7 assists, 2 goals. I'll also add that Gibson has only had 3 starts in a row all season*. How on earth is an 18 year old supposed to get into a rhythm when he's barely given a run of games (yet shite like Ferguson continually start and don't improve at all...). Whatever way you want to look at it, Gibson is streets ahead of McKechnie with half the starts and should have been starting far more often than he has. Dress it up any way you want, the blame absolutely does lie at the feet of Bartley. Another useless piece of management from him. * In the league certainly, never checked the cup games.
  20. Aye pretty much this. There was a lot of diving he bought and other times he never stood for it. Nowhere near the worst ref performance of the season tbf. Far better than I expected.
  21. I saw one QoS guy a bit irate and assumed he was in bother. He seems like a bit of a wrong un anyway tbh. Aye unfortunately every club seems to have these type of youths now and again. Should say £18 for an adult and kid is great value. Paid £30 at Hamilton for the same thing. Fair play to Stirling. Yeah he definitely wasn't great but I didn't think he was the worst either. Certainly not bad enough to be hooked so early in the half. But unlike Doherty or Ferguson, even if he's playing poorly, Gibson can whip in a decent cross and make something happen. I'm not convinced Bartley didn't do it to make some kind of petty point. As poot as Gibson was by his standards, there's been far worse performances over the season where the player has stayed on far longer than that (today included). I didn't see much from McKechnie tbh. He tracked back a bit but in an attacking sense I don't think he offered us anything.
  22. Were some QoS fans ejected today? There were a handful of stewards around the supporters bus when I walked past. There were also a handful of Stirling NEDs mouthing off as well. Hopefully they get fed up of Stirling soon enough and piss off.
  23. I normally have a player I dislike each season (it's a bit of a habit) but I like to think it's always rational. Am I way off with Ferguson? I genuinely don't see what he brings to the side. At times he was actually standing getting in the way today. Have to feel for Cochrane and Todd (thought the latter was good again today) every week as they're doing the job of 3 men. He seems to have a shot every so often to make us aware he's on the park but I struggle to see what else he does. It's absolutely criminal he starts every week and incredible he stayed on the park today and Gibson and Reilly were hooked. Does anyone else see something I'm clearly missing? To balance it out, I really didn't like McClelland for a long time but I think the boy has matured over the season. He seemed to give away a needless foul every single week but he's cut that right out, he rarely loses a header and he doesn't shitebag out of challenges. He's constantly shouting as well. Would be happy to see him back next season. Him alongsid Brydon and maybe an experienced guy and we'd be ok at the back. As we were today when Kilsby was finally dropped.
