I've watched the highlights multiple times and still don't really know what happened at the 4th goal
Chick Young nearly malfunctioned trying to describe it on Sportsound.

If someone a bit more technical than me could go back in time and assassinate Guglielmo Marconi, that would be great thanks.

The surface was like a bowling green in the very recent past. Some of these housing developments being posited were built over two decades ago.

It's a well known fact that Tannadice was built on sand dunes in what was once known as the Stobi Desert, giving them an unfair draining advantage.
Aye, been like this forever. It's the risk of using existing waterways as part of the drainage system - they're already taking water in from much further afield. They're also much smaller capacity than they need to be, in case of weather events like we've seen. Same story as down by the bus station/dock st which is near where the Dens burn and Scouring burn meet and head toward the Tay.
If it's been like this forever, why is it only a recent problem? Dens used to have one of the best pitches in the country. Not even that long ago.

There's so many of them now they have lost their impact. There should be an eligibility criteria based on age, cause of death, and references from friends or family to confirm they were sound.

Dundee fans are absolute oddballs about women and children.

Restricting tickets is shite and should be called out tbf. Unless it's Rangers.

We usually keep the Shed for bigger games such as these. Away fans were always housed in the Fair Play until this season. Though I would have assumed Raith would have got, at least some of, the Jerry Kerr too, so guessing they're holding that back to see what home sales are like.

I'd expect so too. Not every Sunday you get to experience St Patrick's day in little Dublin.
Little Tipperary, mate. Ooh ah.

Imagine being outwitted by James McPake. There are other careers out there, Jim. You're still a relatively young man.

Another tactical masterclass from Fraudwin. Nothing like fucking about with a 4-0 winning team. The boy Grieve might well be the worst player I've ever seen. Marginally worse than Tilson. No idea who the heavy set boy on our bench is but I'd give him 45 minutes and see what he can do.

To be fair to Mclaughlin, he acknowledges the sectarian singing in this article.
This bit, though:
Songs that many thought were confined to the 1970s and '80s are back and being chanted, seemingly unchallenged.
When did they go away?

Was just coming here to ask about this. Is it both guys interested or just Jim continuing to be a parody of himself and talking pish?
The latter undoubtedly.

The Costa Rica game wasn't the first time I cried as a child, but was the first time I repressed a memory. That match only ever existed on Wikipedia as far as I'm concerned.
That game was a formative and profound primary school experience for me. That and finding out everyone dies one day.

Brentford have never even played European football, never mind put 17 past the champions of Andorra.

As keen as I am to see the back of Ogren I'm not sure Scottish football become an EPL development league is anything to get excited about
Yep. Flashing our knickers to become a feeder club for Brentford is surely beneath one of the great names of European football.
