  1. Mirror the legendary 0-5, 0-3, 0-4 Kenny run and go for Pars 0 4 Arbroath. At 200-1 with Paddy Power that looks great value.
  2. Another person and mate of former champion boxer Josh Taylor (and mentioned in the farewell video) up on court for alleged pub (and street) assault and threats of violence. And allegedly accessing medical records. A not guilty plea lodged so presumably that accounts for the blurred face in the story? https://www.edinburghlive.co.uk/news/edinburgh-news/edinburgh-man-robert-kelbie-accused-28594201.amp https://www.edinburghlive.co.uk/news/edinburgh-news/edinburgh-man-robert-kelbie-accused-28594201.amp
  3. Sounds like a unit. Get him chasing chickens, punching frozen meat and running up steps for a bit.
  4. The Livi manager would have his own branch. The infamous garage bloodbath in Glasgow (link below) took place at a garage that had been owned by the person jailed along with him for drug dealing. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/revenge-was-motive-behind-garage-shooting-976269?int_source=amp_continue_reading&int_medium=amp&int_campaign=continue_reading_button#amp-readmore-target
  5. Thought it was an odd editorial choice to say at the start of the section that the lad suffered a brain bleed. I was expecting it to come from falling down the stairs at the station but they point out it’s a medial issue. Instead of seeing it from the point of view of the officers at the time it’s being presented to us as “look at them ignoring the signs of a brain bleed”. The poor guy’s symptoms were remarkably similar to drinking vodka (which he admitted) and a random drinking injury (the type you’d maybe sustain clambering through someone’s window). Staggering about, puking, confused, belligerence, in pain. It was an education to me that these were signs of a bleed on the brain.
  6. Has anyone asked the XL bully population to find him? There may be a bit of collateral damage in the form of a few pensioners, toddlers etc but they’d get him eventually.
  7. If he read P&B he may have got himself checked earlier. Judging by the physical nick of him prior to his pathetic dress up wankathon I predicted he’d be dead within a year. Treated his household to a fleet of new Range Rovers as soon as his mum died too. His private helicopter trips contribute to lead emissions too. He should use this time to reflect on his environmental impact and think of ways the royals could be better people. Travel on bicycles, renewable energy for the palaces or maybe even a cull.
  8. When he was a “boxer” about 40years ago he patently couldn’t box whatsoever. Froch would smash him to a pulp. Still no sign of Josh “I want to box three times this year” Taylor taking a break from his busy schedule of hanging with gangsters to do some boxing. Sounds like terms have been agreed but they’ve not found a broadcaster willing to stump up the cash the fighters want. Matchroom told Catterall he can have the fight but it’s not going on DAZN ppv and the money doesn’t work on regular DAZN. Might end up on Amazon? PBC (Taylor’s US promoters) have a new TV deal starting in March that will see boxing on Amazon Prime and PPV through Amazon. May well be that the Taylor Catterall rematch is announced as part of its launch.
  9. East Calder, West Calder, Polbeth. A hotspot of gang activity, in particular those with links to a Glasgow group with links in turn to a Dubai based Irish outfit. Brother of recent murder victim arrested along with a former Cowdenbeath player for threatening a taxi driver at knifepoint https://www.edinburghlive.co.uk/news/edinburgh-news/brother-marc-webley-charged-over-28569918.amp That cartel’s MO in Ireland was to use a football club to launder cash and bribes to pay off police. Same area cited in the planning of the murder of Bradley Welsh https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/in-your-area/lanarkshire/cctv-footage-lanarkshire-street-shown-24003862.amp Wonder why the person named by the shooter as paying for the murder, that the shooter met before and after the killing, and who in turn updated the shooter’s mum about his well-being when on the run, never faced any charges? Before the shooting, the shooter went to someone’s house, blasted a hole in his floor and declared he had been paid by named person to kill Welsh. This person phoned the police numerous times to say “there’s a bam with a shotgun hiding in my house and he says he’s going to kill Welsh”. Police turned up and failed to spot the large man in the loft with a shotgun. This witness later died in witness protection. They then appeared to have said they told Welsh his life was in danger but in fact somehow hadn’t delivered the warning. To try and make him look like a gang land figure they said cable ties and a knife were found in his car (a battered old Panda). Sounds dodgy? Well how else do they suppose he attached the hundreds of flyers and boxing gloves he attached to street furniture around Edinburgh, promoting his fitness classes?
  10. Just send them a link to your P&B posts.
  11. Having visions of you addressing your concerns to a bar of Highland Toffee. Like the Twin Peaks lady and her pet rock. Congrats to Morton. A five nil win away against any full time outfit, even one with injuries, is impressive.
  12. Like that like darts like player like liked like to like say like like all like the like time like. Like made like listening like to like fellow like guest like Tam like McManus like like like listening like to like Brian like Sewell like. ETA, it gave me the fear that maybe there is a hell and in hell the radio would be on 24/7 with Rangersy darts boy, Grado and Old Firm Facts. Will try and be a good person from now on.
  13. When Kenny was our manager there was a very pleasant young player who had come to us from Aberdeen. Our kids went to the same nursery. Results weren’t great and I’d ask if he was doing okay and how training was and he became progressively more haunted and terrified looking. Talk of the drills of shooting from the half way line would turn him even more ghostly white.
  14. Stephen Kenny would be a fantastic appointment for Scottish Football.
  15. Think there’s a defining performance to come from Summers. Hopefully Morton are on the receiving end.
  16. Had Livi to beat us 4-0 once in the glorious Kenny era. We’d lost 3-0 and 5-0 in previous games. It was 50-1 or something mad like that.
  17. The Jamaican Lewis Martin looks a good addition. Good to get the striker in too. Sure we’d have kept Todorov if McPake had known how much trouble he’d face bringing in replacements. Sure he said his top three striker targets all signed for top tier teams.
  18. That photo of Joe Cardle back in a Pars strip on the WDTHR thread will be cranking up the average.
  19. The gangland thread should combine with the taxidermy thread. Endless supply of fresh exhibits. He’s not the only Edinburgh gentleman to have been posted missing recently either.
  20. Hogmanay shenanigans update.. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/11846259/daniel-fraser-david-togher-missing-musselburgh/amp/ You could google the “hood” I suppose. The Sun not connecting dots.
  21. Right humans. More Dreamies or I’ll melt every last one of you.
  22. Save a few quid and go to the Mariner Centre
  23. Being 89 and in a wheelchair didn’t stop this Boston crime boss from being beaten with padlocks in socks until his eyes fell out and he resembled the contents of a tin of minestrone soup. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-62600194.amp
