Not touching rivals until I've finished the swaps to let all the sweats move back up divisions. Only got wales, Iran and USA to finish for World cup swaps. Still need to do the squad battles with Spain players too. Will do that this weekend and have a week off playing champs. Still got no idea what to use the tokens for, there's too many options!

Went 2-2 in champs tonight and switched it off. The gameplay was so delayed it was horrendous. Hopefully just the extra traffic with the world cup promo as I've not had any bother with delay so far. Saved about 40 packs. Thought the normal world cup cards would have been in packs too but oh well. Pulled Oviedo path to glory card. The lowest rated but happy enough to get a card from every promo so far. Got him in a two player pack with one rare and barely got a walkout from four 100ks, 5 50ks, and an ultimate pack. Loads of stuff to do in milestones and objectives. Think ill just sack off rivals this week and focus on that.

I'm a fanny. Never realised that the champs qualifications refreshed. Was sitting with 4 wins which got wiped back to zero when I went in to finish this morning. Managed to win 5 in a row and just ended it there and took the rewards! Teams pretty much stayed the same for weeks but I want to finish the first owner objective before I start buying players. Will sell everything valuable in December and start saving packs for TOTY and build a mental team. Have 30ish packs saved for the workd cup stuff on Friday.

Got Ljunberg from the hero sbc. Not even getting on the bench. First shite one this year though so can't complain. Got my 8 wins in rivals and qualified for champs last night going 4-0. Only two wins away from division 1 now which is slightly terrifying but we'll get papped down a couple of divisions when the new season starts. Just discovered the lb+rb through ball this week which is brilliant. Really useful for getting in behind.

Watched Saints pump rangers, put the wee man to bed and won 5 in a row in champs to go 11 and 3. Will call it a day there and just give the rest away as I want to do some of these objective players and get my rivals wins in. Saving packs for whatever the next promo is. I'm assuming it's world cup themed if we are not getting a stand alone mode.

I've had the same team on the go for a couple of weeks but packed Dembele, Mendy, Ederson and IF Bellingham tonight so changed it up a bit. Playing a 4231 again and starting to play really well. Up to division 2 in rivals and got my 8 wins in about 12 games. Was struggling in division 3 with a 4222 last week. Foden in at CAM behind Wright has been outrageous and as much as I've liked Leao, Dembele feels much better.

Check out my team. Tempted to do the Dodo SBC just so the team is all special cards but the actual card looks shit so I stuck in Wan Bisaka to get Foden on to 3 chemistry. Noticed keepers only get plus 4 chemistry being on full chemistry so stuck Donnarumma in goal and he's excellent so far.

It was 40 games and it was only Saturday and Sunday! I only ever played a full weekend league once that year and I've never been so exhausted at work on a Monday in my life. Reds were given monthly too. Really weird setup looking back. EA assumed nobody would be daft enough to sit and play 40 games each weekend.

f**k me. I've got a second account that I fanny about on from time to time. Logged into it tonight for the first time this year. Played a few games to get the untradable 100k pack and pulled Ginola who goes for 2 million.

Finished 15-5. Pumped in the last game unfortunately! f**k all from rewards bar red Barella who will possibly get a game at some stage.

After going 10-10 last week I'm 11-2 after tonight. Gave one game away too as the wee man woke up early from his nap just as i was starting my second game. I must have lost the head last week! Playing 4222 all week and definitely getting on better with two strikers. Finally getting some success with corners too. Even scored two directly, seems far easier than it should be to do that! Ian Wright has been great. Love that cards like that are good this year.

Did it last night and got Ian Wright. Straight in the team to replace Rashford and felt good in the couple of games I played with him.

After my struggles at weekend, won six games in a row in rivals last night and nearly in division 3. f**k knows what happened at the weekend. Here's the team. Brolin, Foden and Tomori tradable and if sold would take me to about a million coins.

Just went 10-10 in WL. Probably worst ever for me. Thought I had the game sussed as well! Got Tomori from the TOTW pack and Frimpong in the red picks so both go in the team and I'll need to try and learn how to defend for next week!

I'm up in division 5 but found it tough getting out of division 7 but have barely lost a game since then strangely enough. Qualified for champs tonight. Came up against the most expensive team I've faced so far with a front three of Neymar, Mbappe and RTTK Messi. Pumped him 3-0 with rage quit after 25 mins. Christ knows how much money they had pumped into this game! Managed to pack three of the promo cards so far. Simon, Terrier and Foden. Was fearing the worst with my pack luck after getting f**k all from all the advanced SBCs. Still enjoying the gameplay. Definitely my favourite fifa for a long time. Still cannae take free kicks and score from corners mind, but the penalties are much better.

I decided to play champs yesterday as had a bit of time but just stopped at 8 wins or whatever the amount is needed for the first decent set of rewards. Gor red Leao and RTTK Foden in rewards. Some luck.

Here's my first owner team after bagging the hero pack for 25k coins that ea released at 6pm by accident. Up to division 6, just got enough to do the qualifiers for weekend league but think I'll leave it until next week. Enjoying it so far. Don't think there's an overpowered formation or skill move yet so at least we are getting a bit of variety this year. Playing a 433, 442, 4231 narrow or 4222 and can switch between them without any bother. Makes a change rather than just coming up the same team and three formations constantly.
