My work is sponsoring Connect this year and are basically offering buy one get one free tickets to staff. The line up looks quite crap just now and I am hoping it gets better but either way i have bought 4 tickets and shall have a spiffing weekend!

I live a minute away from McDiarmid Park (the home of football) where last night it was hosting Elton John. Had all windows and doors closed but i could still hear it. Top Gear and Big Brother were turned up ridiculously loud.

Shivers of dread have just flowed up my spine. Playing football last night. I got punted on a team with a bunch of randoms i don't know which i don't mind but the fact that they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that have ever sucked grinded my gears! They guy playing up front was honestly the worst football player of all time! The worst part was that they were an actual team and were wearing strips and everything. They were absolute gash! I would like to see them in a game just to see how much they get destroyed. My iPod was being a gay on the way to work this morning so i had to walk in silence. Just not used to going anywhere without the old pod on. Strange.

Nothing till Radiohead also

I went to see Crystal Castles on Saturday night in the Arches and it was bloody excellent. Next is Kimya Dawson on Wednesday night. Luckily it clashes with the Rangers game so i will miss them playing anti-football thankfully.

I had bought tickets ages ago but had convinced myself it was on Thursday night. My brother phoned me after the gig and was asking where i was and to my horror i realised. I'm an idiot! Was at Mogwai on Saturday and my next gig is Kimya Dawson i be.lieve

Tickets for mogwai were also attained. Went to see Cat Power and CSS last year at Triptych. Also 65daysfostatic coming up fairly soon, can't remeber when. Kimya Dawson is also getting viewed soon but again i can't remember when.

I'm the only one who had to get up this morning. My mum, dad and sister will still be tucked up in bed while i had to walk to work and it was absolutley freezing. I have a cold that is attacking me and showing no mrecy and i still feel a wee bit sick from my hangover which lasted ALL DAY yesterday and still refuses to subside. Added to that i don't think i will be able to drink diluted orange ever again becuase i got up yestrday morning with a mouth dryer than sand in the desert, tanned a pint of the stuff then went back up stairs and threw it all up. I then tried to flush it away and the toilet was blocked so in order to unblock it my hand had to go in the sicky water partially rendering the experience dreadful. I am off tomorrow and Wedndesday though. It's not all bad
