  1. Well, yes. But I don't think that's what was being laughed at...
  2. Riordan's been playing for East Fife. It's not that unreasonable to suggest that the club might be interested in him. McFadden is head in the clouds stuff though.
  3. Another goal for the B team yesterday.
  4. If I was being paranoid, that bit from Masterton doesn't sound like a man who's planning on leaving the club anytime soon.
  5. Who knows what his plan is, but you can bet it'll be to look out for his interests, not the club's. One thing is certain, Masterton will only ever be seen by the Pars support as a fucking crook, never a hero.
  6. Are you referring to HMRC? I don't think they have a sufficient amount of the debt owed to them to veto, could be wrong though. Can't defend against Paco's post. Administration is a welcome process from a fan perspective as it maintains the club's survival, but it does leave a nasty taste in the mouth with regards to how we're going to f**k over various creditors. Hopefully our new owners will have a better idea of how to run us within our means. I'd have no issue with relegation as a punishment either.
  7. Certainly in recent times, but I don't recall the censorship on .net being all that bad a few years ago. The fans who did question it were in the minority IMO. We were peddled the 'soft loan' line by the club and plenty of us accepted that. Why wouldn't we have done? You believe that the people in charge know what they're doing.
  8. From my perspective, I believed that after the 2004 flirt with administration, the board were working to bring down costs, and we were continually told that was the case. That said, the club consistently made a loss every year following that, so we as fans should have questioned that a lot more.
  9. I get the impression that he's not really too clued up on financial matters. Masterton has certainly shown he knows how to twist things to suit his agenda and I doubt it would have taken much to convince Leishman that it was all sustainable.
  10. So when does liquidation formally begin? Presumably we have the court hearing in the next week, it gets proven that we can't fulfil our debts, and a liquidator gets appointed?
  11. The thing with EEP is it's surely a monster of a ground to run when you're part-time in Div 3. Given we couldn't get crowds when we were 4th in the SPL, I'm not sure we'd get anywhere near the gates required to maintain it. To survive as a newco we'd surely have to move.
  12. Why is it all you'll say? Surely if there's an explanation that sounds reasonable and will set us all straight, then there's no need to be cryptic about it?
  13. It's going to have to be a pretty impressive story to make that picture look anything other than fucking depressing.
