Julian is a bit of a wierdo, you just have to look at his Instagram and realise he's quite out there. I expected his ramblings to be much worse. Don't really blame him, he talked about how much they were looking forward to coming back to Glasgow and how good the gigs at the Barrowlands were because of the crowd. More than half the crowd didn't even seem to know Last Nite. As I said before the booking for the festival is all over the place as to what group they are trying to cater for. It's more of a day out for young people to get hammered in the park than anything musical.

Went yesterday purely to see the Strokes after they had to delay a week at Primevera. Great weather for it, and the Strokes were on form which was a relief as Julian has been reportedly been messing around recently. However the audience was totally flat. Mix of it being popular with younger people but with a lineup that's all over the place with who's the target audience. They also need to bin having food places around the main stage, it should be bars, put all the food in one area to reduce the sea of unwanted chow mein on the ground. It's just a bit shit for a city festival compared with the other city ones I've been to in Europe. All Points East, and Primevera are much bigger but even Way out West seems able to get a better and more varied lineup.

It does look a bit like a Dunfermline kit. Nothing really to really praise or complain about.
