  1. You were very quick! Suspect Device, I had my first contractions on the Wed afternoon, everything slowed down and then they had to induce to speed things up on the Friday at 3am and finally had the wee one at 12.40pm.....was a long wait! Everyone is different. Oh and yeah movement during labour happened to me too, nothing to worry about.
  2. Footiechick, cauliflour cheese.....gives you a bit of sauce for the meat. I need some ideas for mince.
  3. Picked the wee one up from nursery this afternoon to be told that he had spent the day looking after and taking toys to the little girl who wasn't feeling too well. The girls were saying they've not seen a toddler who takes such time to looks after others. I was very proud!
  4. Heating went down at our office over Christmas and one guy walked out, he's still battling for his salary for that day!
  5. I thought that place closed down years ago, used to go when I was a Guide and we went on our annual trip to Edinburgh!
  6. Neither did I, just felt I was asking enough of my FiL without scaring him with the folding of nappies too! Glad Callum is feeling a bit better
  7. I use real nappies until I went back to work, my father in law wasn't sure about them so we moved onto whatever is on offer in the supermarket! I still use real ones now and then.
  8. Oh no poor wee man. How's he doing this morning?
  9. Wee one is much better today, he's been out for a walk. Having his nap just now but he's a better colour and seems to have stopped being sick and diahoreea.
  10. No but he's been in Children's ward for a day and then taken to A&E in an ambulance.....give me teething any day!
  11. We've had one thicker poo at tea time, when I say thicker I don't mean normal consistancy just not water. He's much brighter, more independant and interested in his toys again, so I'd say he's on the mend. This is backed up by the fact that he is stunt baby, having twice now got down the stairs by going under the stair gate and surfing down on his belly! So hopefully in the next day or two he'll be totally better.
  12. 2 more changes before he was asleep at half nine! About to change my 3rd nappy since 7am Maybe it's actually a good thing and it's all the posion clear out his body. Sounds like 4th nappy change is iminent.
  13. 10. Well it's probably closer to 19 nappies as quite a few of them I doubled up to try and stop the leakages!
  14. Calpol and some baby massage? Make that nappy 9.
  15. Yeah, when he went floppy and rolling to back of head eyes on Monday I took him straight to the GP who looked him over and sent us straight to the short stay childrens ward. That was scary until last night when NHS24 sent the ambulance and Monday seemed a walk in the park!
  16. He's pink today which is an improvment! Still very lathargic the tonsalities combined with gastroentoritus (neither of which I can spell!) are taking it out of him.
  17. The wee one had very blue lips, hand and feet. Tried for an hour and half to warm him up and get them pinky. Wasn't working so we called NHS 24 and they send an ambulance which was a bit scary when it pulled up with blue lights. Really not necesarry as we're only 2 miles from the RAH but NHS 24 said that with circulation problems in children it's procedure. Dr checked him over and said that the infection is just making his circulation not as good as it should be and it's leaving him a bit blue. Home again and he's sleeping.
  18. 6 nappy changes in 2 hours plus a vomit change. Poor wee soul seems to have a stomach bug on top of the tonsalities. He's slept most of today.
