My kids are raging about this for some reason. Getting quizzed as to why I didn't either a) keep the Duster or b) buy a new Duster.

It looks like an OAP mobility car. There are much more teenager pleasing SUV's out there.

Cancel the deal before you regret trading in the Duster.

(Which I ruled out as I think the older ones look awful but in fairness newer ones better)

I do it. Crack the egg into a wee sieve above a cup and it lets all the runny white away. Also makes dooking them into the pan much easier. And, once cooked, it gives you a much tidier egg.

Of the entire world of possibilities out there, it seems my speciality is poaching eggs. If any PnBers are looking for any hints or tips, I’m here…

So do you then poach the yolk and white seperate?

I swore never to buy a Vauxhall again after the engine on my last one exploded. Parts literally came through the bodywork and across the street.

So, if it beats that I'm on to a winner.

We had one the old style corsas, was an automatic and it ran for years and years. I had an insignia for twenty minutes last year......

Really?? Am I being wooshed here? Is that a whole school policy or the odd teacher?

I'd be very surprised if that's a school policy as there's pretty strong evidence that students who work and study in quiet environments perform significantly better than those who listen to music. Music without lyrics is better than with, but no music is better still.

Not to mention, kids will be forever wanting to change tracks, meaning the phone comes out and they'll see a notification which they'll want to respond to.

Easier said that done, but banning phones in schools should really be a no brainer. I think it has to start when kids enter school, from P1 (there will be kids that age with phones), all schools. Kids that are 13 up wards might be a battle that can't be won, but schools should be trying to put rules in place which the next cohort might be more likely to follow.

I've no idea, she just mentioned she was listening music in class.

  5. Setting the referee aside.

Aberdeen played well, I only tuned in at 75min and the commentators were giving it no way back now from then on and again when Celtic went in front again.

The play preceding the Aberdeen second was excellent.

Roos didn't look comfortable at all at pens. Joe Hart is an arrogant f**k and hugely dislikeable, but he did look more confident.

Aberdeen heads didn't drop when they went behind.

The BBC coms were awful. Leeane Critchon offers no insight. Surely our national broadcaster can find better.

Yeah. The vegetarian woman seems probably the best but I don’t think she has the range of a finalist.  There’s nobody you’d say ‘sure fire final three” at this point.

Needs new format or hosts or something. I used to watch the Australian version but haven't last season and managed ten min us one before I wanted smash TV.

  7. This is petty as hell but, I went back after almost 5 weeks off. Been in team since the beginning. I started back on Wednesday on much reduced hours.

Someone now off and recovering from sepsis.

Guess which one gets the get the whip round.....

I was recently informed by my mother that if she died anytime soon* then I'd automatically inherit all of the timeshare guff that's she's been trying to offload for years (including asking me if I'd want it before I told her where to go), and I'd have to continue paying for it whether I wanted to use it or not.

It makes me wonder how many of these sly little ticking timebombs are hidden in various other T&Cs.

*I actually need to ask her if it'll get passed down as part of an estate regardless of timing.

My parents had a timeshare, which we'd have had to take it when they died. Not sure how they offloaded it and it wasn't at any profit that's for sure.

At what point do this season's postponement become irrelevant?

If (and I appreciate it's a big 'if') we completely overhaul our pitch and have it verified that the drainage is up to the standard required by the rules, will we still be forced to pay the suspended fine if a severe storm hits the day before a game and completely swamps the pitch?

In such a scenario, why would we be any different to, say, Ross County, who had a game postponed this season because of a waterlogged pitch?

Solely depends on if you happen to be playing one of the arse cheeks.

I splay my left hand (palm turned upwards) and then place the first glass between thumb and forefinger, gripping it with those. The next glass rests on my ring finger while being stabilised with the middle finger. The third rests in the space between while being stabilised by my pinky.

The right hand has palm downwards and I grip one glass with thumb and forefinger and the other with middle finger pressing the glass against the ring finger.

If it's pints I pick up the 6th glass between the two hands. The 6th glass is only held by pressure from either side, so that goes down first. The next glasses down are the ones in my right hand which are set down simultaneously. The ones on the left are set down in reverse order to their placement.

    Quite the party piece.

Who else read that trying to replicate the finger positions?!
