    Doctor Who

I watched it again, and again, I really liked it. Clara is more than just amazingly good looking, she is an excellent character and is just perfect for her role. The low point of the series for me has been the Journey to the Centre of the Tardis, which didn't quite come together, but there have been some outstanding episodes. I've made more repeat viewings than I have done in years, it seems that they have finally got it together this series. And Neil Gaiman is up next week. Moist.

I really enjoyed that one, and I'm not really a fan of that particular gang. Surprised that I liked it, and looking forward to Neil Gaiman next week!

    Doctor Who

I'm the other way round, when I watched it on Saturday, I wasn't sure how I felt about it and wanted to watch it again, but as the week has gone on, I've realised that I have absolutely no desire to watch it again. Worst of the series for me, and the only one I haven't watched more than once. Methinks we have different expectations from Dr. Who!
  4. Ah, that looks like it could be handy! Cheers!
  5. I've never heard of either of them! I'll see if either have branches in Stirling, last time I went trainer shopping, it was at JJB. I liked JJB. The NB shoes were always in exactly the same place.
  6. In that case, I shall try Mizuno shoes at the weekend!
  7. I like NB, they were the only ones that ever seemed to be properly comfortable. I swear, years of shitey shoes have deformed my feet! I've never tried Mizuno though, I'll have to try some on next time I'm in town. And no, I go 11 because of width as it is. I could probably get away with a 10 just in length, but 12 is a bit clown footy.
  8. My childhood was very traumatic. It basically consisted of spending what felt like days on end trying on every pair of trainers in every shop with an increasingly exasperated mother telling me to stop trying shoes on and just pick some. Eventually, I'd buy some once we'd given up with Arbroath and gone to Dundee. Within a year, there would be a hole in the side of them (where my wee toe is), or they would have ripped somewhere. I've been procrastinating over buying new trainers...since 2011. I mainly wear flip flops when I possibly can.
  9. Its perfectly normal! 11, but I find it very difficult to find anything wide enough for me. Those all sound promising, cheers! Check out the level of detail NB offer on their site: http://www.newbalance.co.uk/shoe-last-chart/shoe-last-chart,default,pg.html Essentially, wide forefoot seems to be where I'm at.
  10. The problem with these is that you can't choose a wide fitting. Its the same everywhere, as NB are the only trainer company that do wide fit (AFAIK), then most websites don't have the option built in. Incidentally, I found the perfect pair. The right sort of style, the right size, the right width, reasonably priced, but I couldn't buy them...
  11. I genuinely laughed at that! I prefer wearing flip flops for that reason, and its always really hard to get trainers that can go on my feet. Thats why I wear NB running shoes, for people who have differently normal-feet.
  12. So I need shoes, and specifically, I need New Balance wide fit shoes (the only ones that can fit me normally are NB, and even then, my feet eventually wear the sides out). Now the best I can find seem to be on the official NB site, but are there any good websites where I'm likely to find wide fit NB trainers at a cheaper price?
  13. Why decline? I assume you have better offers?

    Doctor Who

I got round to watching Saturday's episode, and wow! What an episode! I thought it was excellent, although possibly not the best we've seen of Clara so far. Really enjoying this series so far.
  15. I'd actually forgotten this was today. I really have to start reading the news again!

    Doctor Who

Ive said the same thing for most of the last few years, and Im still not a fan of the new Doctor, but this series has been excellent in my view! I watched the episode with the singing about 4 times! That said, I didnt really think much of this week's show.
  17. My joke was much better, more subtle, and far more clever than any of these attempts. You all get the forum you deserve.
  18. You were always my favourite poster on here. Not in a Kilt or Steven kind of way though.
  19. I don't actually ever mock Reynard's occupation. It sounds ace!
  20. You lot deserve those repetitive and tired smug faces and constant repetitions of scrambling for relevance etc. Genuine moments of cleverness clearly pass you mortals by.
  21. That whole attack on you was so I could slip that joke in there. Philistines, the lot of you.
  22. Incidentally, I made a damn good Reynard joke there, far, far better than any of those tired and lazy "shed" efforts. Someone better fucking appreciate it!
  23. The side that says we shouldn't take any pleasure in the death of a woman who seemed to try her best to destroy Scotland forever.
  24. Issue after issue, you seem to end up on the same side as those two...
  25. Do you never worry about just how often you seem to end up on the same side as Reynard and HB? That is not a side you really want to be consistently on...in the case of Reynard in particular, its very much gilt by association.
