I am doing that anarak thing of trying to remember and record all the football grounds I have been to. Footballgroundmap.com is a good site to do this albeit a bit slow. I was looking through the list of defunct teams but could not find any reference to Insch Juniors. Can anyone confirm Insch had a junior team in the North Region? Might have been the nineties. Google has been no help so maybe my mind is playing tricks.

BBC excelled themselves with the Inverurie Locos v Annan Scottish Cup ties. The first game the BBC report had Locos equalising in the last minute after a goalmouth scramble. In fact the Locos skipper Neil McLean scored an amazing solo goal straight from the kick off. They changed the report a few days later after the goal had become a big internet hit. In the replay the report had "Andrew Forsyth smashed the crossbar late on for the hosts." Disagree. He has won 9 atp 1000 masters events. World number 1 Djokovic has only 4 more. If you take WGC events in golf as an equivalent. Lee Westwood has not won any and Luke Donald has won just 1 title. Murray is doing fine at this level.

There is someone who works on Sportsound who is obsessed with playing clips of shouting commentators describing goals. Who thinks that is good radio and that people would want to hear it? It does my head in.

Carve up in the Swiss Indoor Open Draw. Murray in same half as Federer. Federer plays first round on Monday. Murray's first game is 4 pm Wednesday followed by his first doubles game at 6pm the same time as Federer's second round singles. All the more satisfying if he wins.
