I agree with a lot of what has been said but don't think things are as bad as some are making out. Yesterday's game was a very close affair and in reality could have swung either way . It was a case of 2 good teams with completely different game plans . Buckie are very good at closing down the opponents and taking advantage of mistakes while we try to play expansive attacking football (maybe too much at times ) which leaves us open quite a lot of the time
Buckie's first goal was pretty "expansive".

I saw a couple of comments on Twitter this morning about one of the Rovers shareholders selling his holding to someone called Paul Reilly, and the sentiment was entirely negative for the club’s future.
Anyone on here in the know what it could mean? Hope it’s not as gloomy as it sounds.
Surely not Winston from Still Game

Wonder if they will pull the vote now knowing it will fail. I think fan power has done the trick.

Assuming that the non B team Lowland League clubs are chosen on merit for the conference why would Albion Rovers vote for the conference? The clubs that have come down from the league have not got close to getting back up.

With Aberdeen being out of it. That makes it even less attractive than it already was for Highland clubs thinking of going into the conference. Hopefully we will hear from more league clubs now.

No way Brora threw that game. Pretty strong line up including the Motherwell manager.

Tbf Dundee United destroyed County from the 1st minute of that game, there wasn't much to be excited about.
You'll have missed the carnage and the tears of joy in the previous 2 rounds though...
True but when they did eventually score it was against the run of play

The first thing that needs to happen is for the Lowland League to vote against the B teams for next season. That puts the ball firmly back in the SFA court. They would then need the Scottish League clubs to vote for this pish. Why would they?

Do players get the jail for this? Only ones I can remember getting time were the Pakistani cricketers that were bowling no balls to order. When the footballers were kicking the ball out the park at the kick off it was a big joke. West Ham and Southampton spring to mind.

So league 3 could be:
Rangers B.
Celtic B.
Hearts B.
Hibs B.
Motherwell B.
Kilmarnock B.
Spartans.
Stirling Uni
Brechin.
Buckie Thistle.
Looks a good, competitive league to me.
That looks so appealing to Buckie Thistle

Good news for Strathspey as Lochee United lose their must win match against Broughty Athletic

Do Brechin still play in the Forfarshire Cup?
If they don't go up this season is there any chance they would try and join the Aberdeenshire FA so they could enter the two cup competitions?

Lowland League Table - Football - BBC Sport
BBC have Rangers B top of the league at the time of writing. 3 points for tonight's draw it seems.

Good to see Lossie United with a positive points total

I was at the game. The shot was definitely on. The big fellow is an odd scapegoat for the equaliser.

This is the only place I have ever heard them called "Banks".

Went to Harp 7 Forfar WE 0 on Saturday. Dismayed to see how far FWE have fallen. One of the top teams in the area not so long ago.
Saw them last season draw with Downfield and they were decent. I wonder if they lost players to Forfar United who are above them this season.

Is it possible for a non colts team to win the league and not get put forward to the play off? Call them TEAM A.
If they did well against the colts team and another team, TEAM B, did not but TEAM B had more points than TEAM A with the colts team results being stripped out.
Who goes to the playoff, TEAM A or TEAM B?
Apologies if this has been asked before.

Ended up a 5-2 win for Darvel. Only the 11th time in Scottish Cup history (and 6th time since WWII) that a non-league side has scored 5 goals away from home against league opposition. The last one was Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale's 5-3 win over Stirling Albion in 2017/18 - before that it was Ross County against Queen of the South in 1990/91.
I can remember Ross County beating Alloa 5-3 and getting that famous tie with Rangers in the sixties as a result. Pretty sure Caley hammered Stranraer but don’t remember the details. What was the other one if that is right?
