  1. Thats the problem I have, as I understand his faults. There’s just no need to be a dick, he was fine when he played - Moffat put in a comparable performance but didn’t receive the same level of abuse. Football fans…
  2. I certainly won’t argue with anyone at the game, because it’s not worth it. A very good League One player, however people have made their mind up so it’s really not worth him pursuing a career at the club next season. His problem is that he is always available for the ball, which is his downfall.
  3. It’s just disappointing to have people scream abuse at a player who hasn’t really done anything wrong, and only played today because he had to.
  4. The sub worked overall, however it did leave us imbalanced in the middle because Moffat was moved further forward. Chalmers was on the ball mor compared to Moffat, however both were wasteful with their passing. Edwards was fine defensively, however his final ball was atrocious. Moffat gave us more of an attacking outlet going forward, but his overall play was lacking and he missed a sitter. Ottoo is being moulded into a fine defensive midfielder, he still has a lot to learn though - his passing being one of those attributes.
  5. I think Chalmers is done at Dunfermline. Not a bad player with mobile players around him, however there is a lot of negativity when he is on the ball from people around me. There was also a lot of sarcastic clapping overall when he was subbed off. Which was weird, because Moffat came on in his place and didn’t touch the ball for about 20 minutes so he offered practically nothing up to that point. Moffat then proceeded to ruin every opportunity presented to him. One guy near us sarcastically shouted “ffs Chalmers” when Moffat made a mistake which was amusing, but probably lost on the people shouting abuse at Joe. i don’t mind Chalmers as a player in the correct circumstances, however he has now become Justin Skinner so I see no hope for him moving forward.
  6. We played 4-2-3-1, KRH was not playing as a wing back
  7. The Premier League was being expanded to 12 teams, and there was supposed to be some form of play-off between Dunfermline, Falkirk (who finished 3rd) and Aberdeen who finished bottom of the Premier League. However, Brockville didn’t meet the stadium requirements so they promoted Dunfermline and Aberdeen avoided relegation.
  8. Raith are perfectly safe, we are toothless.
  9. At least if that happens they would improve it.
  10. To be fair, the stream they did from Inverness was flawless. However, it has not been great in the past.
  11. I thought the crowd was decent tbh. Maybe not over 5k, but at least 4.5+.
  12. Shoutout to Sleepy Joe for being wide awake when he cleared the ball off the line, tremendous positioning.
  13. What makes a good pub? This thread needs some engagement.
  14. Have we ever won a play-off? I don’t think we have.
  15. I just don’t understand why he has moved to a formation that isn’t working and hasn’t done for weeks. We were fine in the first half, the change in formation in the second half has killed any sort of “momentum”.
  16. We’ve been awful. Looks like we’ve reverted to 3-5-2 in the second half and have looked worse, completely disjointed.
  17. He had half the goal to aim for, and didn’t even aim the ball towards it.
  18. Southport fans said he was one of be best players they had seen in years. It’s almost as if there is a massive gap between the quality of the lower English leagues and the Scottish Championship.
  19. Can’t beat bottom of the league Arbroath at home. Last 3 home games in a row have resulted in one point, one goal scored and 9 conceded. It’s not good enough, and we should demand better. McPake out.
  20. Not really understanding the criticism here, we could play him at centre-back and he would be an improvement.
  21. I burst out laughing reading the first line of that article.
