No time limits for me, if you are stopping the game may as well get it right. Id get rid of the screen, pointless going to it as will always change.

The Terrible Journalism & Tom English Thread
Steve McQueen replied to Ludo*1's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
This might be a weird idea but hear me out. We play games & award points based on the result. We then list who won the most points over the year. Teams that generally finish higher in that list over a reasonable length of time would generally be regarded as bigger. I think the top 5 are obvious, the 2 Dundee clubs probably next but not much between these clubs and others that are generally in the top flight. Then teams that are occasionally in the top league. -

Steve McQueen replied to Girth's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter

Saints v Hearts, Wednesday 7th February
Steve McQueen replied to PauloPerth's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Apart from VAR can't give yellow cards? Unless it was for dissent of course. Ref was hopeless but didn't effect the game. -

Kenny also has a dodgy firestick as watched Rangers & Hearts games at the weekend. -
VAR in Scottish Football
Steve McQueen replied to Les Cabbage's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
How feasible would it be to only have VAR in TV games & bin it for everything else? Let our Fifa refs take all those games. -
The Big Relegation Thread
Steve McQueen replied to Lex's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
I dont think they do, Match 37 is normally midweek game at the same time as the play off semi 1st leg. Unless 11th is decided before that of course. -
The A9 Derby, Stags vs Saints
Steve McQueen replied to Pete the Jakey's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Does the A9 even go to Dingwall? Thought you had to go on a lesser road after Inverness -
St Johnstone v Aberdeen 24 January 7.45pm
Steve McQueen replied to starryfish's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Phillips must be one of the physically strongest player in the league, rag-dolls players all the time, good close control but doesn't really do much attacking wise. Just turned 23, easy to forget that based on his build. -
Double Winning St Johnstone FC Thread
Steve McQueen replied to Kyle's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Had a week or so off? Certainly when we signed Keltjens it was said he join up with the squad "when they return to training on Thursday". -
Sky Sports are Taking the Piss Thread
Steve McQueen replied to Ludo*1's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
We had a game at Dens on TV on a Friday night but cant remember if it was BT or Sky. -

Derek Adams interview
Steve McQueen replied to Ewanandmoreagain's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Derek Adams teams have been the better team in every game he's ever managed. Such an obvious smoke screen as his expensively built team lost, surprised hes gone so early. He's not wrong though, league is as bad as its been for a while even Celtic & Rangers are a bit shit. -
Saints v Buddies 6/12/23
Steve McQueen replied to andrewh's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
I always thought we'd get better in the 2nd half of the season once the team gelled. I did think we'd be miles behind by this stage. I now think we'll be 11th rather than 12th. -
Saints v Buddies 6/12/23
Steve McQueen replied to andrewh's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
I didnt realise the chance in the 1st half was so clear till i saw sportscene but not sure i would say it was a sitter. Think Levein was happy with 0-0 or maybe he doesnt trust anyone else on the bench. -
Most/Least Interesting Clubs in Scotland
Steve McQueen replied to stu2910's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Rangers win 95% of their games but still dont win the league. That's dull. I cant recall Partick Thistle ever having a decent cup run? Motherwell been in the same league for ages but had a few european ties. Dundee are always entertaining (maybe not for their fans) but underachieving. -
Saints v Buddies 6/12/23
Steve McQueen replied to andrewh's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
its more expensive for a PPV than a 1 month international pass that will get you 7 games? -
I dont know if there was a VAR review announced but there was a large stoppage for Considine to get treatment during which they replayed the penalty and a possible foul on Considine several times. Wasn't clear & only clips ive seen only show the 2nd incident. Suspect they couldnt decide if it should be a free kick so went with the ref.

VAR in Scottish Football
Steve McQueen replied to Les Cabbage's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Wasn't even a foul by the ref TBF they could say the ref missed it. -
