  1. Unless his goal was to make himself look like a complete and utter fanny, in which case he's over-delivered yet again.
  2. Our record against Inverness is abysmal over any extended period. While we *should* be targeting three points, it's not at all a gimme especially with some knocks and fitness concerns of our own to manage.
  3. Did not attend but a draw is a decent enough result for both teams. Hopefully we can push on for the Inverness game on Saturday to keep this run going. If Power has deliberately stamped on that wee rat Vaughan then he should be given freedom of the town and the keys to Victoria Tower on his return.
  4. If you're incapable of reading for comprehension, sure. But why let that get in the way of yet another attention-seeking exercise from a fantasist like yourself.
  5. What you feel and objective evidence of sound business strategy - in football or any other sector - are two completely different things.
  6. Should rival clubs be bothered or not bothered by your club's hilarious bantz posting? Make your mind up please.
  7. But it still requires the cash to do the ditching now, and choosing the option that fans don't like still wouldn't actually be 'dereliction of duty' as board directors.
  8. Lots more will be following him among the Kurdish diaspora getting sold down the river in an obsession with fighting Cold War 2. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/feb/07/now-we-are-not-safe-swedens-kurds-fear-nato-deal-has-sold-them-out?CMP=share_btn_tw
  9. Except that in any other business, it would be a dereliction of their duties as a Board to not prioritise the financial implications of a decision. If the money isn't there to do it, it's not there.
  10. If I were Imrie I'd have left that chat until the return fixture at Cappielow tbh. If there's an edge to the game then in all likelihood the home team will get the advantage from refereeing, as we've seen from Brian Graham being allowed to referee multiple games at Firhill too.
  11. And in the boomer mindset, it's almost always a dusky foreign immigrant.
  12. Would expect our unbeaten run to go here, especially if the players unavailable/taken off on Saturday aren't back. Don't think we could do without the likes of Wilson or Oakley for this one; whereas not risking players for Saturday's home game against Inverness is objectively more important for trying to secure a play-off spot.
  13. Leaving aside the complete and utter nonsense of your account of events, there's absolutely no evidence to support the 'case' that you're trying - and failing - to white knight for. So conspiracy theory nonsense it is then. Gutted for you.
  14. I don't think it was too bad either but there was a niggle throughout the game with both teams (and players) going at each other over not that much. Taylor Sinclair's challenge was a reckless booking but there was enough force behind it too that the home crowd anger was at least understandable. The second goal looked miles offside, but we should have wrapped the game up with either the header off the bar or the shot cleared off the line in the second. Think Airdrie really struggled with Oakley's presence but that's the same for most teams when he's in this mood. Airdrie were patient with the ball but our defensive shape and work rate countered that until the subs and injuries weakened us in the closing stages - especially Waters who was really poor at left back. Airdrie looked to be weakened more by the injuries and subs early in the second half but the replacements did well to fit into your team instead of getting bodied, which looked a real possibility after 15 and then at 50-55 minutes of the game.
  15. He's scored about 75% of his senior goals against us though.
  16. Deservedly in front but two nil flatters us slightly. Second goal looked outrageously offside. Don't think the game is over yet and there's enough niggle between the players that a daft challenge might swing the momentum by either a penalty or a red card. We already have the strong position so need to show game management skill to take the sting out of the second half.
  17. Well no it isn't, because energy resources are traded as a wholesale global commodity. The companies that extract/generate energy resources do not in fact sell them at point to households to any significant degree, while all the third parties who do provide household energy supplies are dealing with a similar regional and overall price structure. Which is why the cost to the consumer does not vary widely in relation to the UK energy cap despite a whole range of different suppliers competing on price, and why independent analysts can predict the future energy price cap with a high degree of accuracy under 'normal' circumstances. Between wholesale prices and various government/regulatory levies, future prices are relatively straightforward to calculate. The idea that these energy prices are being deliberately shifted up and down by moustache-twirling, Scooby Doo villains - and that they're dropping because they're no longer making the desired profit (?!) - is just infantile nonsense. A classic example of a conspiracy theory being a comfort blanket for morons. And you didn't disappoint.
  18. Objectively speaking, Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen have (almost) always been well ahead of any provincial club that isn't financially doped. I'm not sure why you think that's a recent development at all. The level that you're accustomed to seems to be glossing over the massive administration event that occurred right in the middle of that period, which if it weren't for very fortuitous circumstances could have seen you in a dire state of survival, never mind maintaining a statto book record. From an outside perspective I cannot understand why you'd be gesturing longingly at either Dundee club as a model, given the long history of one of them and the ongoing, outrageous bin-fire mismanagement occurring at the other. Kilmarnock were also quite fortunate to clamber out of the second tier at the first attempt after throwing money at to scrape past a part-time challenger: otherwise they'd be fucked too. The grass isn't always greener and the ceiling for Motherwell right now is really no more restricted than it ought to be if you fancy reliably having a club to follow.
  19. Has Partick 'Family Club' issued a tear-drenched statement yet to address yet another scandalous injustice inflicted upon them?
  20. Genuine question: why do you need an owner of the club to 'sustain' a certain level, as opposed to simply funding the level that your revenue naturally sustains anyway? You're not even toiling in the lower leagues; there's no surface-level reason why owner-investment is necessary.
  21. Not buying that as a legitimate grounds for complaint one bit. Either jump on the train regardless or take the L for an obvious nonsense workaround to save a tiny amount of money. Neither outcome is Buckie's problem here - although other causes for complaint are valid.
  22. Why would you need to book a specific train to go from Inverness to Elgin?
  23. I'd be extremely surprised if rotation changes were made at all at the beginning of this run of fixtures. And in terms of consolidating a play-off position, this game (and Inverness next weekend) are objectively the two most important in the run.
