  1. Really not sure how you can seriously pin 95% of the blame on an obvious Dutch fraud and his lack of defensive nous, when the previous match at Hampden saw Davidson's team reduce a rampant Morton team at that time to a handful of good chances in the game and escape with a 0-0 draw that was not unfair. That was two months ago: so how exactly is the Dutch guy still responsible for you getting bodied and for your keeper chucking in pub league clangers again in April? It seems an exercise in wishful thinking when the 'soft as shite' marker and dreadful results - against Imrie at least - has been a consistent pattern for all of your managers at this level.
  2. 1) "His peers" are Scottish Championship football players/Herbalife reps. A constituency whose members are, generally speaking, thicker than a whale omelette and in which Simon 'Si' Ferry is held up as a great thinking man of the game. So their judgment can be safely filed in the bin where it belongs. 2) Lauded by Queens' Park fans - well, see above points too really. The evidence is plain for anyone else to see: he's a total haddy. Thanks for playing anyway.
  3. The penalty save was justice as it looked like an extremely soft 'foul' and mebbe outside the box too. Completely predictable that Muirhead would miss given the game he was having too. We can't complain about the result at all, as Dunfermline produced a decent move from their perspective - ridiculous switching off from ours - to go ahead. We are persistently chronic if we have to chase a game and today was no exception. A couple of stramashes somehow not going in sums up our run at the moment, but Mullen's save stopped Dunfermline getting a second goal too. Neither team created much at all from open play - we needed to do better to rescue a point. The annoying thing is that we weren't actually miles off it today, The team was just filled with 6/10 performances all round. Other than perhaps Muirhead, nobody was really poor but we can't have just okay performances across the team and expect to win. The quality isn't there to bail us out. The team looks low on confidence but if we get ourselves ahead in a game for a change I think we'll be fine and could well go back on a strong run of results. Quite a few players should be playing for a contract though because the fringe players have not been delivering when called upon and are not changing games when they come off the bench either.
  4. Is the same way that people kept claiming this before the Hearts game too?
  5. Yes, you're definitely missing something.
  6. It's a bit rich for the club to be complaining about people not swanning up to games on a regular basis right now, when they were leaving a large portion of a sub-2000 home crowd outside the ground for 20 minutes because of dud turnstiles a mere handful of weeks ago. Which was the culmination of a fortnightly issue that the club steadfastly refused to address for years. For their next trick they should start addressing the inconsistent stewarding which has also detracted from the walk-up experience and in particular getting a new generation involved with their weirdo obsession with adult supervision. The pricing of games in packages tried out after the Motherwell cup game doesn't seem to have been a huge success, but that's still a better option instead of dropping walk-up prices for individual games. I wonder whether the marketing of that offer was visible to enough people too.
  7. Amazon claiming to provide a nominated day delivery service, only to then fire out random items for delivery the day before anyway and having their drivers call and text several times because nobody is in to take the delivery because that's exactly why the original day was fucking selected.
  8. Err yes - there's just a staunch hegemony instead which is apparently much more preferable because reasons.
  9. Hence the absence of buses parading down to Ibrox and or Celtic Park from the likes of Elgin, Fraserburgh and every other bin in the country (including Inverness, Dundee, Edinburgh and Aberdeen). East Coast/Teuchter bumpkins pretending that they're free of sectarianism is like a 99% homogeneous white British town claiming that they're free of racism.
  10. Complete and utter nonsense to claim that Livingston and Hamilton have been building a model for community engagement that the likes of Ayr, Morton or Patrick have not, on the sole premise of them having an artificial surface. You're only digging a deeper hole for yourselves as this special pleading continues.
  11. Nice try, but any football club that can afford to chuck money at their first team squad to chase top flight football can quite clearly afford (with top flight TV money and risible parachute payments) to convert their pitch to whatever version the Premiership requires.
  12. Did you write the non-sequitur lyrics for Alannis Morisette's Ironic too? This isn't one of your best scans tbh.
  13. Ah yes, it's merely the community impact and poor wee scheme weans that are the subject of your concern. As opposed to Raith's 'speculate to accumulate' 'business model' going up in flames. No other 4G pitch facility exists in Fife that could possibly take up the slack.
  14. Really not sure how watching lots of videos on YouTube about Prague ATM protocols constitutes saving time tbh.
  15. The main reason why clubs in the top two tiers are full-time is because they also have the largest resources in the country to afford it. I remember some part-time players being clearly less fit in the lower two divisions about twenty years ago - that's no longer the case. The fitness gap between part time and full-time players is minimal but as in most other areas of work, the better players will tend to prefer having the opportunity to focus on their 'profession' instead of juggling it with a day job. There are exceptions which allow for a fair degree of overlap between weak full time teams and strong part time teams, but it's that access to players that forms a self-fulfilling cycle.
  16. Ignoring 'bad news' and inconvenient facts seems to be working out well for you.
  17. Horseshit. Inverness CT have been registering losses of £800,000, £1 million and similarly outrageous sums on an annual basis at this level for years. All of those figures have been in the public domain. There is no hidden financial bombshell - they've been dropping from a clear sky for fucking years. What have you done about this? Have you registered your alarm with the way the club is being run into the ground financially - note financial management, not the fact that you're festering in the second tier? What fan organisations have been formed to protest and end this mismanagement? Just last week Gardiner and other club lackeys deflected attention to the Big Bad Council and the guaranteed windfall you stood to lose - how many attendees continued to lap up that pish even at this late stage? For you to then complain about being 'shafted' by Highland Council is absolutely risible. They are not actually responsible for keeping your buckshee Monorail operation in business for another few years.
  18. Perhaps the fans should do something about the negligence and 'entrusting' officials, instead of giving it crocodile tears when some consequences occur years down the line.
  19. What does the job role involve on a daily basis, and in what bizarre alternative universe should individual schools even be tasked with developing their own inclusivity policies?
  20. It wasn't a generalisation. It was in fact very specific about the circumstances and requests made to the referee, which were fairly dinghied because their entire day does not in fact revolve around your braying club blazers' convenience. Unless you are suggesting that the two clubs simply fabricated some claims to support this 'generalisation' purpose, in which case we can still file your weeks of mewling in the bin.
  21. How much did your bankrupt live event company generate for the cash-strapped local authority? Part-time football does not equate danger to the existence of a football club. Until Inverness from board room level down accept the fundamental concept of actually paying out only what their own income generates and sucking up whatever level they end up playing at as a result, any outside sympathy should be reduced to zero.
  22. None of those three are centre forwards.
