  1. In any race to the bottom people seldom stop to rationalise the situation, they lash out and invariably at the wrong targets. They are also relentlessly preyed upon by the right-wing media.
  2. If you believe a poster above all parties won't be present, so you have a problem.
  3. So let me get this right. A member of the Hosie family which has been connected to Dumbarton for decades is in danger of taking the club down the shitter ??
  4. I'm saying that Dumbarton should have arranged an early inspection as I believe they did last Saturday. And maybe it wasn't the brightest idea to have Rangers 'B' playing on a park that is dodgy in the winter.
  5. Surely it would be common sense to cancel this ASAP. The pitch has been frozen without fully thawing and then deluged with water which presumably won't fully drain away. There is also have a home match on Saturday so to even risk any further hassle and outcry it should maybe be inspected and canned. Who at DFC is in charge of this ?
  6. Sons fans on the wind-up is a shite look BTW. This is another avoidable shambles.
  7. Apparently there are folk in North Korea absolutely pishing themselves watching this.
  8. Rangers finishing this with a Jack, a King and plenty of jokers.
  9. Well, the good news is that neither he nor the playing staff will be on anyone's radar. Unless maybe Wright or Sakala moving to Morecambe.
  10. Well going by the comments on the website it looks as if all the two-year deal guys are staying put
  11. I'm guessing that keeping Stevie Farrell is to do with his contract, eg money, but I wonder if the board has considered how easy a sell the club will be to players with him still in charge on a reduced budget ?
  12. We'll, it's a much better defensive showing than the team has managed all season. Bit worrying though that we've become a community benefit organisation rather than a professional football club, or am I missing something ?
  13. There is another way here. The Dumbarton Board now meets and discusses the relegation and the fallout. Assuming they are not blind to the situation, that will involve working out what it would cost to financially draw a line under the Farrell management. If the budget can afford it they press the button, if it doesn't then they grow a pair and press buttons on a phone to the owners requesting an injection of capital. Do I think this will happen ? Naw.
  14. You do know what's going to happen here ? We are going to draw 1-1 in a God-awful game.
  15. You were saying ? If the guy has any integrity he should consider his position.
  16. Boyle and Buchanan are very experienced and they have contributed greatly to that goals against column - would you keep them ?
