i really hope so, i dont think i have ever been this nervous in my life! i am hoping to announce some very tiny news tomorrow night!

I have just been sent home from the hospital!! wife is stayin in to be monitored, expecting the call at 6am. 3 weeks early and having to be induced, baby is fine though so its all good. hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying the journey!

13 weeks to go!! getting more excited by the day. bump is perfectly round, with some gentle kicks, nothing too aggressive yet!

Had ours today, was amazing, it is the best thing ever. it's a baby alright!

got the 20 week scan on wednesday, me and the mrs are locked in a heated debate as to whether to find out the sex or not! oh, only a small bump at the mo, nothing big yet. is this normal?

thats the ones - nightmare eh! or, when you pick a corker and havent got a tissue, someone has saw you pick it, what do you do?

when you pick a boagie and think you've got an absolute peach, but when you pull it rips oot a nose hair!

I meant to post this a while ago, but is hearing the baby's heart beat the single most amazing thing ever?? it brought me to tears!!

cheers for that, i've heard get them in there own room ASAP is best, which is what i want as i spent all day sunday building an effin' nursery! the child WILL use it!

quick question, me and the wife are looking at Moses Baskets etc, how long should you keep the baby in a moses basket in your room? some say 6 months, other say not at all!

you two fuckers would give anadin a headache, pipe down, have a kiss, a nice walk together and let it go!

just do what you feel is right mate. what happens happens, like you say you are both strong people and you will help each other through whatever happens. its what marriage is all about.

Lay off G Man people, you cant blame the guy for being happy. it's up to him if he wants to tell people he is gonna be a dad now or at 38 weeks. it's his choice. i found it so hard not to tell people, but i had to tell me work as they wanted to send me to baghdad! G Man, i understand your excitement and people are only giving advice, im taking evert bit of advice from here and using it, it's good stuff that a lot of books wont tell you. im only a young thing myslef and i am shitting myself everyday. i have learned one thing, just be there for your mrs and support her, you can't really go wrong with that! i started this thread for help and advice, not to have arguements about when you should tell people or not ! ADVICE FOR ALL EXPECTANT PARENTS PLEASE!

as someone has kindly pointed out, i live in just outside reading. But my nearest hospital is, and the name on the birth certificate, will be....................... BASINGSTOKE!!! EDIT: I have told my mrs we will be driving north on week 39 and I will floor it past Gretna just incase!

yeah i did laugh at the scan, they couldnt see it on the belly ultrasound so probing was done, i was pissing myself when the wifee was lubing up the probe and my mrs was gettin changed, she didnt have a clue what was coming!

i got that one, it is very good! when you due? we're 11 august
