When you take that amount of goals out a team it must have a significant impact. Shipping goals can be covered by scoring them at the other end. -

Losing Anderson must be a big factor. How many games did he win the points in last season? -

Don’t think it was our first choice keeper was playing today but could be wrong. I’m not sure when everyone is fit if what the strongest line up would be or even formation. The good thing this season is we have options. Same formation as today with Hutchinson in at left back and Barbour and Ruari in midfield with Meikel mate be the strongest. However, we could just as easily go 3 at the back with Thom, scullion and McKinlay (or McKenzie when fit) and Hutchinson down the left and Gray down the right. Midfield 3 of ruari, Barbour and Meikel and pick 2 to go up top. -

Thought we were poor defensively today. Not sure why Scullion decided he needed to win every ball and go past the midfield at times to do so, got caught under the ball too often. Thom seemed to be sitting wider to cover Barbour also which didn’t help. At the other end we did create a number of chances and should have had a few more goals. Not sure why we had a goal chopped off for offside in the first half when I didn’t think any of our players touched it before a Blackburn player turned it into their own net -

Seemed quite proud of himself for elbowing Thom on his way off the park -

Jeanfield is a team that you never hear much about on here. Hard to tell if they have strengthened after last season or lost players. Be interesting to see how it goes. I believe we are a stronger team than we were last season -

Funny as fvck when you went to moan about the pen to your own committee at half time to be told by the guy that he thought it was a pen. Your head was away, I’d rather stand next to the coach for 90 mins than listen to the utter drivel that comes out your mouth at a game. I think that you’re the only person that I’d actually say that about too, especially after today’s show -

Thought the Rose played well today and bossed the game. Feel sorry for the Camelon fans if they have to listen to the boy that stood at the steps onto the park today. Total rocket -

Think you’ll find there are a fair few players that have to swap weekend shifts at a load of clubs through the season. When you have 2 unscheduled saturdays you can then work them with out the hassle or swap with folk that have done you favours during the season -

Oliohants then or volunteers if there is soup etc. If we were to use oliphants we would have to add a margin onto the price of something the kids can get a few mins walk away. Volunteers all work so I doubt they would be able to provide soup etc daily. I’m not trying to kill off the idea, it’s just a bit more complex than first looks. Health and safety would be a nightmare for using the lie but I’d think so garage conversion would make most sense (could double up as a shop on match days etc) to do that you’d need full cooking facilities onsite so would need to rework the club I’d think unless you can tap into the utilities in the car park somewhere. Then you’d need staff to run it. The footfall would obviously the school kids but can you entice enough away from subway, bakers, chippy, dominos etc and how long would it take to make a profit. It would look an option but is it cost effective or could the dead space be put to better use? -

Where do you get the hot food from though to keep warm? -

The equipment in the lie hit is only to keep food warm. The kitchen in the club is a long way from the garage. It’s up by the hall. The garage backs onto the women’s and disabled toilet, then onto the gents and office before you geT to the kitchen. To get the utilities into the garage you would have a fair amount of work to do and I’m assuming the cost would be significant also. Not impossible but you would need to be making a decent profit quickly to cover the work involved and staff costs etc. -

Pretty sure he is on a 2 year deal and I’m assuming the Rose will hold onto his registration. He can drop down when he wants as long as someone pays -

If Gary Thom isn’t a centre half what is he? He is probably the best defender we have in the squad -
