Another enjoyable watch and the run continues.

Credit to Tynecastle who like Newtongrange on Tuesday came to play in the proper manner.

My annoyance yesterday was we have still not seen Docherty, Stowe and Payne play together.

Also not sure I agree with the sending off, for me it's a yellow.  There wasn't a bad foul in the game.  Anywhere else on the park it's a yellow

If it was anywhere else on the park it probably was a yellow. Stupid and dangerous that close to the wall though

Agreed but can you imagine what would happen if supporters piled out the Rose club back door with drink in hand

They wouldn’t be allowed, some tried to stand at the back door with drinks at a testimonial a few years back and were asked to go inside to drink as it wasn’t permitted in the ground.

thought it was one of the best atmospheres at a game since Covid kicked in. Interesting discussion about the drinking in grounds as I’m sure I read that down south are considering allowing it again. Football must be about the only sport/event in Scotland where you can’t have a drink

Nobody has suggested it was a goalscoring opportunity or that a bad injury makes it a red card. Zander had beat one player knocked it past the second down the line and the defender lunged in nowhere near the ball and wiped him out. A clear case of serious foul play. Straight red all day long.

Fair enough, that’s the first time that seen or heard any description of the incident

  4. Is there any footage of the tackle? I hope the boy recovers quickly but going by what’s posted he was taken out going down the touch line. Happens a fair amount of times and a yellow as not a goal scoring opportunity. Getting a bad injury doesn’t make it a red.

  5. It provides an outlet for players, coaches and committee in difficult times which is a good thing on a variety of levels. I wish it also provided an outlet for fans, we all do, but at the moment it's not allowed. Some clubs can fill the gap with live streaming etc. which helps.

It might appear sterile and false for some, but for others it's still a competive game of football, and to be honest if you're invested in it you barely notice during the 90 minutes.

    It’s shite at all levels
