I thought The Rose did well for the first 20 mins or so, still dominated the end of the 1st half but then fell out it 2nd half. Had enough chances to win a couple of games but didn’t take them.
Biggest worry was looking at the bench there was no one on it to come on and make an impact.

You mentioned levels? 1 league is a level below. I take it you haven't seen much of the leagues and the players in the conferences below the premiership??
He will see a fair amount of that league next season, might get a bigger team in the odd cup game.

Another enjoyable watch and the run continues.
Credit to Tynecastle who like Newtongrange on Tuesday came to play in the proper manner.
My annoyance yesterday was we have still not seen Docherty, Stowe and Payne play together.
Also not sure I agree with the sending off, for me it's a yellow. There wasn't a bad foul in the game. Anywhere else on the park it's a yellow
If it was anywhere else on the park it probably was a yellow. Stupid and dangerous that close to the wall though

Great result today, played some good stuff and a few cracking goals. Could have easily been a few more too

Best case is definitely two Tranent wins as we’ve still to play them twice.
We are still quite a bit behind!
I’d agree with that too, Tranent have played 2 more games than Penicuik and the Rose. Draw and a Tranent win wouldn’t be the worst outcome either

Very poor first half, but what a goal to put us on top. Camelon keeper had 3 cracking saves 1st half. Great result in the end to keep the run going.

Six in a row. Should have been out of site before they scored.
Some good football. Hope injuries aren't bad as we are a bit light.
Herdy was saying at the meeting in the club after the game that he is hopeful 2-3 players would be in at the start of the week

Been allowed down there for ages.
Not in the seating areas from when I’ve been down. Only under the stands

Agreed but can you imagine what would happen if supporters piled out the Rose club back door with drink in hand
They wouldn’t be allowed, some tried to stand at the back door with drinks at a testimonial a few years back and were asked to go inside to drink as it wasn’t permitted in the ground.
thought it was one of the best atmospheres at a game since Covid kicked in. Interesting discussion about the drinking in grounds as I’m sure I read that down south are considering allowing it again. Football must be about the only sport/event in Scotland where you can’t have a drink

Nobody has suggested it was a goalscoring opportunity or that a bad injury makes it a red card. Zander had beat one player knocked it past the second down the line and the defender lunged in nowhere near the ball and wiped him out. A clear case of serious foul play. Straight red all day long.Fair enough, that’s the first time that seen or heard any description of the incident

That happened to us at Dunbar last week as well not get into dressing room. So pipe down
Just cause it happened to your pub team doesn’t mean it should happen to every other team

Is there any footage of the tackle? I hope the boy recovers quickly but going by what’s posted he was taken out going down the touch line. Happens a fair amount of times and a yellow as not a goal scoring opportunity. Getting a bad injury doesn’t make it a red.

I like Cammy as a player, he never stops running. Yesterday was his best game in a Lithgae shirt.
If we could get a similar type player at right back we would be looking much better across the back. Although mckenzie hasn’t let us down in the 2 games he has played there

I was a bit concerned the number of chances Broxburn's number 9 had. If he'd finished better it would have been a different result. Still, we took ours.
I wasn’t too worried about him, seen him do it enough for us when he was here

The right thing is to play on. Got a vaccine coming. Weve already started what's the point in stopping
Even the boy that found the vaccine has said things will get worse before they get better and there won’t be any impact from it until after next summer1 -
It provides an outlet for players, coaches and committee in difficult times which is a good thing on a variety of levels. I wish it also provided an outlet for fans, we all do, but at the moment it's not allowed. Some clubs can fill the gap with live streaming etc. which helps.
It might appear sterile and false for some, but for others it's still a competive game of football, and to be honest if you're invested in it you barely notice during the 90 minutes.
It’s shite at all levels0 -
Surprised at this as wasn't overly impressed with either last season. Albeit both were young and inexperienced
Hopefully the experience of last season and a year older will change my view.
Meikel looked a player, Slaven didn’t impress at all2 -
Especially when an experienced player asked to come back. And was told he wasn't needed.
Who was that?0 -
Yeah good luck to him. Trying to think of any other non-UK/Ireland players we've had and struggling a bit. Anyone know of any?
Jordi is the first that springs to mind0 -
Just what every club needs a striker that cant score any goals.
Can’t believe I’m actually agreeing with you.
Will need a massive turn around in fortune in front of goal. TC was similar if I remember back before he signed. Just hope this boy can do something similar0 -
Looks like contact training/games can start from Monday

Was it not around the middle sat in oct. Not sure when the Scottish cup dates are released or the start will be but the final has been brought forward and will finish before the end of the season as hampden needs to be clear from games ahead of the euro’s

He was rank rotten and hooked at half time against camelon at Preston field
About the first thing we have ever agreed on, he had worse games than that too1

It will do but they both missed spells last season too. Need someone in to deputise for Snedden as Andrew isn’t the answer
