Sure Dick mentioned last week at his inaugural Live Lounge speech that he is looking at bringing Rab Douglas in as Goalkeeping Coach!!!

It is nice but it is a pain in the arse to get to!!!

Also does anybody know why that coach came up to their keeper and told him to start punting the ball out the ground, they were 4-1 up, I think the game was won???

Nope, after waiting to see how we coped with the wind advantage in the second half, I think I can honestly say that we were just pish!!!
I thought that Bonnyrigg played the conditions just right in the first half and we’re deservedly ahead, we were outfought in every area of the pitch throughout the game, Blaney and Easton, who have both been outstanding during the unbeaten run were both unbelievably poor, Blaney’s two brainfarts in the first half out at the far corner flag were indicative of his general play and Easton was just not his usual commanding self and his continual long punts into the wind even brought the early arrival of Dick to the dug out, whenever we went wide with either Healy or Lyon we looked dangerous but it was rare that that avanue was used. Shepherd was his usual lively self but his and Trouten’s link up play was non existent.
It was a very bad day at the office and surely further evidence that that the Manager of the Month award is curse that just keeps giving!!!
it’s not over until it’s mathematically over but I think that result probably has ended our season!!!

Is this due to the wind, the manager of the month curse. Or both?
Bit of both, this wind is making a farce of our play but Bonnyrigg have had it to their advantage and are a team built for playing in conditions like this, we have it in the second half so we’ll see what we can do with it!!!

Would expect the same lineup as the last few weeks, I don’t think there were any injuries last week and unless there is a surprise appearance from Fash we’ll go the same way as then!!!
I would class this as a “must win” for both sides, them to stay in the division and us to keep our chances of getting out of it alive!!!
eta
forgot Murdoch came off at half time last week!!!

Good news, I would hope that Walls and Newton follow soon!!!

It’s been a long time since we had a Manager winning one of these, is the Curse still a thing???
Could do without that kicking in now we’re in the final run-in!!!

Well done Stennie, you got there in the end!!!0 -

Same (winning) line-up for the third game in a row since the enforced absence of Fash, no complaints and good to see Brogan Walls starting his comeback after being assaulted and then withdrawn in the same game Fash was similarly cudgelled and abused!!!

Even if Stenhousemuir have nothing to play for by this stage of the season, I imagine everyone associated with the club will want to avenge the 6-1 defeat to Clyde in February.
No mercy!
Is that you guys making a kinda promise to turn round and bend over for us on Saturday???
We’ll take it!!!

Fully expecting East Fife to come along and rain on Stennie’s parade this Saturday!!!
The Methil Milan are flying at the moment and that’s even with the enforced absence of Fash and Brogan Walls (done in by the close attentions of the Peterhead hammer throwers) and whereas a fortnight ago we were probably fearing the worst with their absence, what we have witnessed though has been something quite different, we have now seen players raising their performance levels quite remarkably. Shepherd is leading the line superbly and put in another fine game on Saturday and Jamsie Lyon on the right wing has finally found his position and has ripped his markers a new one in the last few weeks and has also turned into a very noticeable goal threat and of course Jack Healy, who has finally become the Jack Healy of old, after a pretty poor season so far by his standards and of course, the Jack Healy of old really, really likes to score a goal against Stenhousemuir. Yes, we miss Fash, who wouldn't? But his absence hasn’t been as noticeable as it was originally feared. And in midfield Kieran Miller has shone, having no Walls has meant Connor McManus having to move forward into that role and Miller has slotted back into the holding midfielder position like he has never been away and cementing it with his MotM performance Saturday past!!!
Stennie are flailing, stuttering and stumbling over their inevitable finish line of becoming crowned champions, they will do it, but it’s going to require a different Stennie showing up this Saturday that has been on display in the last few weeks, especially against the in-form team in the Division!!!
Stenhousemuir have the incentive to win the League in their own patch, but East Fife have the incentive of having to win to keep in touch with The Spartans and Dumbarton, we’re running out of games and we have to keep winning to allow us to be able to capitalise on their inevitable mistakes, they won’t win their last five games but we probably have to win ours!!!The game should be a cracker but will probably be a 1-0 victory to whatever team scores first!!!

A fairly long winded and not that funny attempt at an April fool. Must try harder.
Who’s says it’s an April Fools???
Perhaps the Club are looking to harness the Campbellmania that is currently brewing!!!
