Since leaving my student days behind and becoming a 9-5 man around 3 months ago, I've watched about an hour of this once great show. I used to love Australian hour. Should I make the effort to get back into Neighbours, or leave it in the past where it belongs?

Derek McInnes would have been a better bet, although it would have been more difficult convincing him than it would be for McGlynn. They'd have never went for him for obvious reasons, but McCall would do a good job there if given a second chance. If I was to really think about it, I'm sure I could get another 4 or 5 achievable options that I'd prefer to McGlynn. Just my opinion though.

I don't think I was the only one that suggested McGlynn wasn't ready for such a big job. He got promotion from the 2nd at the 3rd(?) time of asking, and has you in a good position this year with a well organised yet limited team. He's not an outstanding candidate by any means.

I think Div is implying that Ron is STV weatherman Sean Batty.

Danny Lennon would be an obvious choice. I think he'd do well at Raith, and he'd probably take the job if offered it.

How do they decide who wins in a postponed game? Was listening to the posh guy round up the scottish third division games. All were postponed. Three home wins, an away win and a score draw. Couldn't see the logic in it.

I don't think What are You Listening to? has any real use. There's never any discussion on it. If I wanted to know if MattBairn was listening to Metallica, I'd ask him.

Sky Sports News are showing the Championship highlights and when Graeme Dorrans scored they said: "Dorrans, scoring his sixth goal since joining from Partick in July". There's really so much wrong with it. 1. We've never owned him. 2. He hasn't played for us since early 2006. 3. They signed him from Livi 4. He played for them in the Premiership last season, so they certainly didn't sign him in July. It was a good goal though.

The amount of snow related facebook updates is what annoys me. I don't update people saying "Guys, it's foggy outside", so I don't see why anyone needs to update me on what I can see with my very own eyes.

I got the train from Camelon to Stirling, and a journey that would usually take ten mins, took about half an hour because the rain was preventing the train from going any faster. Weather in Stirling is rubbish today, although I do quite like looking out at rain, when I'm inside.

They're aged about 16-20. I'm going to have to investigate further.

This doesn't have anything to do with uni, but I can remember you saying you get the train from Croy. Every morning about 20 people pile off the train at Croy about say 10 past 8, wearing bright red polo shirts. They come back on the train about 10 past 5 and get off at Central like I do. What are they? Is there a school in Croy that wears red polo shirts, or are they young offenders? They look rough, so I'll go for the second.

Well we all burst out laughing. I don't think she took in quite how bad my particular innocent comment on a scotch pie had turned out.

My mate's wee sister came over to chat to us at the football, with some food from the pie stall. I said to her that I wanted to scavenge her pie. Sounded a bit wrong considering she's 13.

Does anyone know any companies taking on electricians? One of my bestest buds passed his trade test today, but was let go straight away because they couldn't afford to keep him on now that the government weren't paying for most of his wages.
