  1. You've made the assumption that I was referring to your post. Why would that be the case?
  2. One of these posts is self indulgent overthink, the other is clarity personified and can be of help to many, even those that voted for brexit for reasons convoluted.
  3. ^^^ Only two words when many long paragraphs would have done. I shall forever associate the day of Biden's inauguration with the embracing of brevity.
  4. Aye and he crossed that particular rubicon with his involvement with the truly awful Death Of A Ladies Man.
  5. Your premise is not a good one and pre election rhetoric is wont to disappear like snow in spring.
  6. Derek Ferguson reported from Palmerston and oh, the perils of a youth misspent
  7. Thanks for that. When considering them and in order to aid recall, I shall abbreviate it to SS.
  8. Good old Willie. He also said that Celtic were impervious for the last eight or nine years. I reckon they may well also have been imperious.
  9. My dear Johnny, it wasn't a question, it was a statement as irrefutable as the irritation felt by a poster who having admitted to discriminatory dialogue felt the need, some hours after the reply and admission, to return to it to create a visual display of his displeasure.
  10. There we have it. Dreary discourse that dredge epithets that sadly stigmatize mental health to not only single out contributors but also demonize a large cohort of our community. It's not very nice is it.
  11. Many thanks for confirming my point, that's very kind of you
  12. What! It's very reasonable indeed and as much as there are items that deserve ire, I don't believe this is anywhere near the apex.
  13. I hope he plays against Celtic if only to hear Packie Bonner call him Andrew
  14. I refuse to believe that and I favour the received wisdom of the pile on
  15. Huw Edwards on the BBC saying only some "Scottish" islands are not in lockdown. Such loose language encourages separatism and the BBC should respect our British Isles.
  16. Well done on the pile on. It has to be admitted that the reporter from Alloa committed the cardinal sin of hesitation and there was brief periods of the anathema of silence. However, there was the distinct impression that she was intruding into a boys club environment where the long serving members get the big gigs. I'm sure there is chromosome specific contributor out there that could offer as much to a St Johnstone game as Willie M (he's entrusted outside of his immediate comfort zone) or Pat Boner at a Celtic game (he isn't)
  17. I'm not entirely sure as to why the referendum has to be run from Edinburgh. If when there is a pro self governance vote in a few months time, whoever the prime minister is should grant a referendum and run it from London. It would be gerrymandered and a scare storied shambles to beyond what most would regard as fair but a small margin vote for retaining London power would be inevitable.
  18. Yes, it's now gone and Ignorant of Invergordon had some echo of decency about him and withdrew. It's such a pity that his father didn't choose to do the same.
  19. There's also a quite appalling reply from a Ross County supporter. This year has a long way to run and I'd be very glad to not read anything like that during the next twelve months.
  20. He hasn't even got the quality control to get it right. Agnes Robertson! His arithmetic isn't too hot either. For Glasgow Southside, all the unionist votes together didn't come close to Nicola in 2016. All this low rent stuff aside, he's advocating a very dangerous partisan scenario and that is nothing but bad news. Thank goodness his political credibility is long gone.
  21. Oh dear, that's very sad and it looks like there has been a breakdown in communications with Ian's family..... "I’m one of Ian’s daughters. Could someone from ICT please contact me ASAP? We are still in the process of notifying family and friends. This should not be public yet"
  22. Chick Young, born 1951, said he has campaigned for all his life against artificial pitches, an early example of such is the surface first installed by Stirling Albion in 1987.
  23. They would be obliged not to as the Liberal Democrat / Labour coalition formed the executive, a name reflective of an unambitious parish council. This however this does remind me of the length of time it took the BBC to refer to the Holyrood folks as the Scottish Government. I wonder how many committees and executive input it took to fully react to this Alec Salmond master stroke.
