  1. Heather Dewar reporting on the 48th minute goal at Arbroath v Inverness Caley Thistle and she speculated that it may have been scored by Alan Doran. Aaron Doran came on in the 71st minute.
  2. That'll be a goal and an assist for White and he assisted the venerable McKay. Well, whaddya know!
  3. Beat me to it with his war service longevity. Perhaps he was a secretly seduced by decimalisation?
  4. Oh, I see and there was me, having read the thread, thinking she was referring to members of the NEC.
  5. Breaking the ministerial code* does not require a resignation. At Holyrood, I recall A Salmond inadvertantly misspeaking with regard to factual information and a subsequent recant being accepted as sufficient. *pfft £350,000,000pw
  6. Indeed. The thing about trolls in general is that they invest an unwarranted levity upon their own intellect. Alas this is but a veneer that hides a longing for acceptance that is persistently stymied by maladroitness. An example of such an obsession is one that weirdly and habitually votes down even the most innocuous of my posts. This action almost always precipitates an equal and opposite reaction whilst no such mercy is offered to them and their reputation. That this scenario quite obviously irks them is a basic form of sport that gives me no pleasure.
  7. Glen Campbell giving equivalence to NS and BJ and supposing that they are broadly similar and making the same covid mistakes. But hold on, he omitted to mention which of the two has a full toolbox and if there are compromises through necessity by the other.
  8. Our Laura has confirmed that BJ "has the legal right to" refuse a referendum. Thank goodness that clears this up once and for all and a we can relax in a Westminster paternalism.
  9. According to BJ, the O. Astrazeneca vaccine is " very good and efficacious". He conjures Colonel Tom Parker and dancing chickens.
  10. It is apparent to all and sundry that it is quite obviously the opposite. In only four months time we will have the chance at the end of this covid war, to send an overwhelming message and poor Boris will have an Attlee interlude. But wait, news just in, the snp's position on the protection of bryophytes is really annoying so now is not the time. Mon the bryophytes
  11. I'm with you sister. I've decided that I'm going to abstain in the next Holyrood election and spoil my indyref paper because I just cannot abide Fergus Ewing and his cosying up to the hunting, shooting landed gentry. I've written to him demanding that if doesn't nationalise all the shooting estates and reimagine them as workers collectives, I'll be jolly well angry and withhold my vote. What was worse, he didn't even bother to respond to my ultimatum.
  12. Advises de-escalation and then escalates to imply regicide is imminent. This is like and no more lofty than an interminable old firm debate.
  13. On the very day of a one hundred thousand tragedies, you ignore the despair in favour of cheap shots. Me? I'm reflecting and feeling for all of those poor souls who have slipped away. Poor Boris, his funny hair and public school prose cannot hide just how poorly he is performing.
  14. There are 100,000 reasons why this casual racism is as ill conceived as it is to be pitied and consigned to the mindset of a union that is shortly to be wound up. The fact that Johnson and his cod evocation of Churchill is playing such a part gives me no pleasure but he is directly responsible for grave calumnies and history will bear witness to his ineptitude on a singular human and state level.
  15. For anyone really looking for examples of bbc bias, this thread presently extends to 154 pages and one would have thought that there would be more than a few examples of such therein.
  16. and an easy report for misogyny and an absolute lack of humour
  17. my dear friend, this isn't an episode of Have I Got News For You and I think you know the serious answer.
  18. Immediately after he lost his mother, I saw a player perform with a joie de vivre that was enchanting. Some sort of injury very quickly dented that and his drift south was a matter of my selfish regret and knew I wouldn't witness the flourishing. I'm delighted for him and wish him well in the final and beyond.
  19. There is no debate to be had on this. To attempt to draw a line, a BBC highheidyin admitted during a presentation at a SNP conference that their correspondents saw it as their duty to take a unionist line. To deny this would be like Biden claiming a bigger inauguration crowd than Trump.
  20. You are almost correct. I think you'll find the line is booooo f****** booooo copyright F MacAulay
