Going to go back and edit my posts on this thread to say we should play Cameron Harper in midfield.

It would be a dull if we all tended to the protean but purely in the interests of parley, it will be interesting to see who will persist with what might be regarded as the impetuous

Take time for yourself by all means but Robertson is paid for complying with a certain discipline/job within ICT not for swanning about various studios on the days we are playing, yes it is time for him to move on and free up his salary for players which are for more necessary/important to the club.

Would you employ a painte/joiner/plumber etc pay his money and watch him work elsewhere.

It is diabiolical that the Chief Exec of the club moans about income and a senior employee is employed elsewhere.

I'm reporting ictfc to the gdpr police for sharing John's contract of employment and special arrangements with randoms on the internet.

Absolute nonsense, The club employs and pays him as DoF not as a roving media commentator, it his job solely to oversee the footballing side of the club, as mentioned by the Chief Exec Gardiner money is tight at the club yet we pay a man for  job which he is not giving his 100% attention to on games days.

Development activities you mention should be associated with football at ICT not getting paid to sit in a Sky studio.

This situation is untenable and you well know it.

Given this good news I think he can be forgiven for taking some to himself.

In any case if the situation is as untenable as you think, wouldn't it be a good idea for him to gravitate to other things?

  5. 1 hour ago, SandyCromarty said:

It's an issue, Gardiner on BBC yesterday moaning about the little money Championship clubs get from the SPFL and we have a salaried DoF spending time in studios or commentating on other games instead of attending his own.

    No it isn't.

From a health and wellbeing perspective, I rather think he is managing his time very appropriately.

In any case, his work has been heavily associated with development activities outwith the core playing part of the club.

The only downside is that he missed the opportunity to witness another Cameron Harper masterclass.

On how do you set up a publicly owned energy company? I would imagine by borrowing to invest, in contrast to the Tory model of borrowing to fund tax cuts for the well off, and pay off energy giants with public money. The aim of a publicly owned body being to reduce prices for ordinary consumers.

Is the much vaunted Scottish Investment Bank going to do the same?

Try more imagining and fewer sound bitey words

Sarwar specifically said he would start up a generation company.

The lord only knows where, how and how quickly he will obtain sufficient assets to generate the green energy he claims.

    A decade?

If he meant a retail company then whoop-de-do, what a basket case of a sector that is and the smartest thing the SNP did was ditch that daft intention they had to sink public money and their reputation.

As a puddle drinking simpleton, I'm still waiting to discover which of taxing the rich more, nationalising railways, setting up a publicly owned Energy company, going after business fraud, ending charity status of private schools, and charging them VAT, rolling out breakfast clubs for all Primary Schools, slapping a tax on multinational energy profits is right wing.

But hey, they had a Union Jack on the platform, so they must be.

One interesting opinion poll giving Labour a 33% lead today (Lab 54%, Con 21%). Clearly its never going to be that big a win, but, of course we wouldn't notice any difference between them and the Tories in power.

Sarwar said today that they would start a publicly owned electricity generating company.

How do you suggest that is going to work?

Holy smoke. 12.05pm and already, both have mentioned the double winning season, and 1991.

Would actually be better off with a pair of Old Firm fans.

I wander, how long before Cosgrove mentions the Billy Dodds transfer fee when he went from the Saintees to Aberdeen?

My memory isn't what it was. What's the story with Billy Dodds and this transfer?

I’m sorry. Don’t quite understand your point?

I'm sorry, I'll put it in language that is very plain.

The negotiations that will take place after the yes vote will take into account all the liabilities and there will be provision made for those that have paid in.

You can be as obtuse as you like in this matter but the truth of this has already been very clearly set out.

You can have a Trump or Alex Jones version of your truth if you like but please be aware where that leaves you.

In my opinion, if Bradford man moves to Brechin on retiral after Independence Day his pension will be due by RUK Government. If he moves to Brechin before Independence Day it will be due by SG as he will be a Scottish resident at that time.

All just my opinion, of course.

Regarding your partner’s aunt her teachers pension is funded whereas her state pension is not and is paid out of current taxation.

Would you say that the post referendum negotiations will take account of the pension contributions of those that will remain subjects and those that are destined for citizenship?

I'd imagine there's a spreadsheet with the workings out.

The Israel anthem was booed last year as well. Happened on quite a few games recently which is disappointing.

I wasn’t aware of McLean being booed than any other player. When you’re playing a game like this there’s always going to be a bit of needle and I’d like to think it was primarily driven by football rivalry and not anything more, like some people are alluding to. I’m not saying that there wasn’t a good few idiots who crossed the line btw. Their fans gave a few of our higher profile players a hard time over at the Aviva, similar story here imo.

I certainly was aware of the booing of the Ireland No11.

I didn't know who the No11 was but when asked about the disrespect, I speculated that it was Mr McClean and explained about his history.

"But doesn't that make him more like a good guy?" was the question.

We shrugged our shoulders and got on with watching the game.

Reading and being reminded of this nonsense, this Highland citizen remains bamboozled.

    Fucking hell.

He didn't even get that correct.

The Rolling Stones were subject to dirty work by their manager Allen Klein who left them high and dry.

Without the debt he shattered them with, they wouldn't have moved to France.

    Scotland's record goalscorer, I believe.

Is it not a reference to the illness Denis Law is living with?
