  1. Anyone can join the EOS if they meet the criteria, they'll of course start at the bottom of the pyramid and sink or swim. Not anything at all like the LL and you'd either have to be trolling or stupid beyond words to think that.
  2. Handsome b'stard in the crowd there Interesting highlights (well as interesting as that 2nd half could be) as from the terracing (well, my angle with people and players in the way) it looked like Smart had arsed it and hit the post but from the camera side its the deflection off the post before it gets to him that beats him.
  3. It so shite its a Hibs of a race.
  4. Bottas is having a "retire at the end of the season" drive here.
  5. True - this is crying out for Latifi to stick it in the wall on lap 43 to tighten things up at the end. Well done Sir Lancelot for walking past Russell.
  6. NDV showing all season why sticking someone in the car because they had one good race as a substitute isn't a good idea - he must already be under pressure to keep that seat for next year.
  7. Cumbernauld 0 - St Cadocs 1 Cadocs scored early with a scalffed header, they also hit the post in the early stages. ....and that really was that, poor game. United, for me, dominated the possession in the 2nd half but up front have absolutely nothing.I think there was one header down the keepers throat for all their control of the ball. Story of the season - lose a silly goal that was easily preventable and when on top fail to score. First time I've seen St C and for the team at the top of the league I found them to be disappointing but I guess taking home all the points on an off day is why they are heading up. Cumbernauld now surely dooooooomed.
  8. What Possil/Horsey and yourself don't appear to realise is that the link between the Academy and the Club has been gone for a good while - this isn't something that's just happened, the club have known since last summer that they needed a new name and the link with the Academy has been away longer than that. The club have survived without a link to the Academy so I don't see why they can't continue going forward.
  9. McIndoe away from Gretna, from their statement looks like he's got another job lined up.
  10. 5 home games for United to finish off the season - Rossvale and Neilston offer the opportunity for 6 points. BUT the other 3 games are, checks table, - oh St Cadocs, The Bens and Gartcairn. They'd need to take 7 points from the 3 games in hand to just catch Bonnyton. Derby day back at Kilsyth next season by the look of things. Right now looking like TAFAK Rossvale and United are down with one more from Bonnyton down joining them.
  11. Shagger is such a liability. Most most pleasing.
  12. ...and the new name is now Caledonian Locomotives FC, going by the statement it looks like Inverness telt them to do one in a polite fashion.
  13. ...but you can't actually tell me what it has to do with BBC Sport Scotland.
  14. What does it have to do with BBC Sport Scotland - please be very specific.
  15. Its the SFA - they'll do what they want. 4 B teams and 3 "invited" Judas clubs from the HL and LL to give them a conference of 10 - they want the B teams to win it to stop the pyramid. The likes of Stenhousemuir, Albion and Stranraer are shitting it about their inevitable relegations out of the SPFL and will gladly support the B teams if it means their feeble bed blocking offer nothing clubs get to stay in the league structure.
  16. Goodnight sweet and sour Prince - Darvel Football Club can announce today that Michael Kennedy has resigned as the club’s manager. Michael has been in charge since February 2019, winning 2 league titles, of which last year was the inaugural West of Scotland Premier League, but just pipped at the post for promotion to Lowland League. Then the emphatic Scottish Cup runs both last season and this season with a massive win over SPFL giants Aberdeen in the 4th Round. But following a meeting between Club President John Gall and Michael today, he will leave post with immediate effect. Darvel FC wish Michael success in the future and thank him for his service. John Gall said “Michael has been an integral part of everything at this Club throughout his tenure and has poured more than just managerial duties into the mix. He has been an absolute joy to work alongside over the last 4 seasons, with memories that will last a lifetime and for that I will always be proud to call Michael a friend. The Club will always be the main focus for me and it saddens me that this is the end of the journey. Michael has been instrumental in leaving us with good solid foundations both in terms of infrastructure and playing squad that will continue to thrive well beyond his departure. I would like to thank Michael for his services and utmost professionalism shown during his time, he will always be a legend ‘doon the brae’ and wish him well for whatever the future may hold” Club Captain, Daryl Meggatt and Craig McEwan will take interim charge of the team until further notice.
  17. Christ, what an idiot. If your wee club wasn't desperate after shooting itself in the foot with sponsors and fans then maybe you wouldn't need people to come across from another senior club to try and save your sorry doomed arse.
  18. All the more bizarre when you realise its the Kelty folk moving on that is taking the Raith arse out of the fire.
  19. I'd never heard of either of them before last night - thought it was 2 up and coming fighters, staggered to find it was a 37 year old jobber losing to a 39 year old jobber. Utter fecking state of the heavyweight division over the last 20 years or so encapsulated in one sorry bout.
  20. Be better with a Killie Pie as manager and yet there are still havering idiots who think Aberdeen were wrong to bin this fraud.
  21. Cracking win for Ness away at Lochs - maybe this is finally the year we return to our historic place atop the league
  22. In the 5 minutes I heard they mentioned it once during the match commentary (whatever game it was) and then a couple of minutes later apologised for getting the teams wrong.
