  1. Not sure you could hack together a competent keeper Frankenstein style from the three we have. Was an absolute stick on they would score from either a set piece or a keeping error. Or both. Think the ref was right not to send off McBeth but I'd probably still sub him as he's only one semi bad tackle away from going off.
  2. Exactly how the last few games have gone don't take chances and then concede from a set piece.
  3. Strong work from the Panthers
  4. Jones retained which is excellent news. Only other transaction last night was the obvious restructure of Josh Allen's contract to kick a bit of cap can down the road. Wonder if the Bills take a punt on a cheap WR today, obviously they'll be drafting one early but only DIggs and Shakir are every week starting level at this point in time.
  5. Floyd and Davis were never coming back to Buffalo with the money they'd get elsewhere and the Bills cap situation. If they lose Daquan Jones that would be a blow though.
  6. There's always a tweet
  7. Sounds from Doolan's interview that Williams is out long term, Adeloye away for scan as well and seems that is also as bad as it looked on Saturday. Gives us a decision to be made over whether Neilson stays in midfield and Milne at CB. On other hand O'Reilly back for Inverness game at end of month hopefully.
  8. Big week, could be 9 ahead of Morton and cruising into the playoffs come next Sunday, or we could be below Morton and with Airdrie a point behind us with a game in hand to drop us out of the playoff positions. Any team that doesn't score against us should be shut down immediately.
  9. Ngwenya in for Williams who is presumably injured as not even on bench. Assuming we're not changing shape suggests either Milne or McMillan at CB with Ngwenya covering whichever fullback position is vacated. Love the fact our outfield bench is 5 centre mids and 2 strikers
  10. Did it not also happen with two teams in this league more recent than that (Ayr and Dunfermline maybe?) for promotion, going into the last game there was a possibility they'd finish with exact same records, can't remember whether one of them had head to head advantage or whether it would have been a playoff.
  11. Can already clear the rest of the cap space by restructuring Josh Allen's contract but who knows what else is on the cards.
  12. Add Tre White to that list, another multiple all pro but never the same after his ACL injury and done his Achilles last year.
  13. Yeah, him and Hyde both slowed down last year. Wouldn't be surprised if both retire. Also released Siran Neal who was a special teams guy and as of 5 minutes ago starting centre Mitch Morse which is a surprise. Seems like it could be a clear the decks year with the big cap hits for Diggs and Von Miller. No point in releasing them this season and going full rebuild but don't expect either to be on the team in 2025. Deonte Harty gone as well, less of a surprise.
  14. Jordan Poyer out in Buffalo after 7 years.
  15. Didn't see the game vs DU but based on the reports would make sense to stick with the same team if everyone is fit. Doesn't reflect tremendously on any of our other midfielders that the 2 starters are a guy who was in the 6th tier 2 months ago and a centre half moved forward, but if that's what's been needed to shore things up then so be it.
  16. Seattle might just have won that trade imo
  17. Yeah from our highlights Moult definitely lucky to stay on, soon as the ball goes over his head from the long ball forward he stops looking at it, turns and deliberately runs into Williams with his forearm / elbow leading to Williams' face. Can't even see who it hits for their penalty claim but I think the strength of reaction of their players suggests we got away with one. A good point and stops the run of defeats. The form teams vary quickly in this league, before the weekend you'd have said Morton would definitely win and Arbroath would lose. A couple of weeks ago Dunfermline looked favourites for 9th and now they're 5th. We're still too far back to win the league but hopefully can kick on and secure a playoff place and take it from there.
  18. At first I thought that was 3 at the back but is it Neilson in midfield?
  19. I actually don't see us changing much, we're unlikely to change shape as our entire attacking gameplan is getting overloads in wide areas, and we're now playing with 2 defensive midfielders. Maybe a change in goal and one of the midfielders will be different but I can't see wholesale changes especially when our options at the back are Ngwenya and Williams.
  20. I didn't get a good look at the winner on the stream, but did think we scored 3 goals and the Ayr goalie made 2 or 3 great saves on top of that, and I don't remember Stewart making any kind of save at all , though he had no chance with the first 2.
  21. We're top scorers in the league, and have conceded 12 more goals than the team in 9th. Yet it's not entertaining?
  22. To score 9 goals in 4 games and win none of them is some defensive achievement. Hard to see where our next point is coming from but we'll scab at least one win from somewhere (38 points is safe more often than not if we don't) so we're not going down, and we're not going up regardless of where we finish with this defence and mentality. Keep it tight for 60 seconds after the 3rd goal and everything is with us to go on and win it, Ayr hadn't been out their half for about twenty minutes. Pay a sports psychologist or fucking someone.
