    My TOTY:

    Nick Pope

Ben White - Dan Burn - Ben Mee - Luke Shaw

James Maddison - Sean Longstaff - Jack Grealish

Erling Haaland - Harry Kane - Ollie Watkins

    My POTY:

    Harry Kane

    Wow!

    Pope is a good shout.

Think Trippier has been the best RB by a mile, although White has had a good season.

Dan Burn played LB all season and he's in at CB ahead of Saliba, Dias, Dunk etc?? Quite like picking Mee though, very underrated.

No de Bruyne, Rodri, Saka, Odegaard, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes or Bruno Guiameres?

Maddison was very good before the WC but clearly his head was out the game when he didn't get the move to Newcastle in Jan.

Watkins was tremendous after the WC but had only scored three league goals by mid-January.

I think Kane is absolutely brilliant and without him Spurs would be lower mid-table...but Haaland just has to be POTY surely?

  2. Normally the Falkirk FC statements are laughable, slightly unhinged and downright insulting to supporters so I am very disappointed this latest effort is rather bland and inoffensive.

Flexing over winning a glorified pre-season friendly against Hibs is more than a little cringe though.

I don't think Champions or sacked would have been seen as a reasonable bar by anyone, supporters included, when he was hired.

We finished 7th in League One under Potter in 2014/2015 and were absolutely at our lowest ebb and Allan Johnston came in and immediately turned us into runaway champions and I think most people - before this season anyway - would agree that McGlynn is a better manager than AJ.

McGlynn inherited a mess but any argument that it was some major challenge is slightly misleading. He's a very experienced coach, had a really healthy budget and not only failed to win the title, he didn't even come close and was then battered senseless in the play-offs.

Sacking him would probably cost too much so think the Falkirk board are making the right call to let him try again but he certainly could have had zero complaints if they'd pulled the trigger.

    You sound very sorry

I am sorry for the club and the supporters, even though I ultimately feel it was deserved due to their results on the pitch.

I also feel if they were to win next season's Lowland League then they should be automatically promoted to League 2 but unfortunately that is not how our dysfunctional pyramid operates currently.

  5. Fantastic business to get KRH in on a 3-year-deal. Shows ambition from the club and also from the player. It was great to see that he wants to play and his comment about "not wanting to play for the B team" should tell you all you need to know about how useful a development tool they actually are.

Does anyone have our up-to-date squad list?

    Ooooooooft

Beyond the laughably absurd faux confusion about why the Dumbarton fans might be *slightly* upset after bottling the title and getting pumped stupid in the play-offs, speaking about himself in the 3rd person is a flashing red light that Farrell is worryingly unhinged/conceited.

  7. Sorry to see Albion Rovers relegated but in truth, they should have been down automatically after finishing 10th.

Not a fan of Spartans after they assumed the position for the Colts sides being admitted to the Lowland League but they've been promoted fair and square I suppose.

Let’s be honest McGlynn has us playing attractive football for 3/4 of the season and unfortunately came up short when it mattered. Too many players lost form at the critical time. Would we rather watch McPakes team grinding out one goal wins with little or no flair? I think not. I’d give the management team another season and hopefully with decent signings we can win the league playing a better style of football.

Genuinely one of the most mind-bendingly stupid posts I have ever seen on this website tbh.

Everything these Pars fans write is in pursuit of painting James McPake as some sort of managerial messiah. I mean, the guy did a really good job, but the gymnastics you see from them rabbitting on about how their squad that came down was utter dung, but then also how little signings they made, and how he turned water to wine etc....

Dunfermline had a better squad than us. McPake was significantly more competent than the fools who rpeceded him. That combination was enough to pish the league.

What an odd and wildly incorrect take. I understand you're hurting right now after yet another Falkirk failure but there's no need to post nonsense.

Not one Pars fan thinks McPake is a "managerial messiah" and at no point has any Pars fan claimed anything of the sort, unless it was done in a light-hearted manner. Many - myself included - found his style of play to be extremely frustrating at times and felt our squad was missing a lot of depth.

I doubt that you or the vast majority of Falkirk fans felt we had the stronger squad last August. As recently as January/February there were a lot of Falkirk supporters still confident they'd chase us down. This sudden attempt to spin it as "Pars had the stronger squad and were always going to win the league" is as hilarious as it is predictable.

Thank f**k, hate that little p***k

Higgy has had the Falkirk fans on strings for years now. His very existence causes grown men to cry with rage.

A bit ironic criticising Kelty's OS for not updating when the QoS website is advertising a Deluxe Draw prize of a car that's not actually been a prize for the past couple of seasons.

Oh, you'll be getting banned from Palmerston now you've made SD look foolish.

What is it you would like them to do? Magic 3, 5 or 7 new clubs out of thin air and force them to join the league?

What's your suggestion here? That they form a new division below the Highland League consisting of Fort William, Golspie Sutherland, Lochee United and Tayport playing each other 12 times each?

The non-licensed teams are playing in their division for the same reason every other team plays in a league in football, to try to win it.

19 teams involved and three nonsense 'B' teams that add nothing to the division; gee I wonder how they could change that to a league with an even number of teams? I'm truly stumped.

As for your birthday caird pish response on every team playing in a league in order to win it, there is no way you sincerely believe that every team in every league sets out trying to win their league. Utter nonsense.

  12. Not sure how a simple phallic joke on Twitter has caused pages of debate?

It doesn't hurt Raith Rovers as a club or as a "brand", nor will it create any meaningful benefit moving forward - there's nothing to overthink here.

Only real news of relevance is Rovers have given a new deal to a jobber full-back, who will probably spend most of next season on the bench.

  13. When you see what a fucking mess the Colt sides have made of the Lowland League, I honestly think they should consider ripping it all up and starting again.

No automatic promotion to L2 from LL or HL is absurd - if the clubs are so scared of falling out the league then why bother even having the pyramid? A fully-functioning pyramid should mean that relegation is a huge blow but not one that threatens the existence of a well-run club.

Currently 3 teams in the LL can't get promoted or relegated; immediately turns the league into a total farce.

The LL is going to run - again - with 19 teams again next season? Is it that difficult to make sure you have 16/18/20 teams in your division? Think SOS will also have 13 - ridiculous.

In HL we have no relegation because all of the champions below were ineligible for promotion; again, why are clubs taking part in a competition they can't or don't want to progress from? Who does this system benefit and how is it improving Scottish football in any way?

Rather than any meaningful changes, we get these total bollocks 'Conference League' proposals that almost literally nobody wants - utter pish.
