Interesting weekend, hearing the phone lines have been red hot between our footballing government officials and Ibrox, well imagine letting a new club back into Scottish football who's whole business plan is to move up divisions whilst losing £1 million a month, think they'd sign off my expenses?

don't be silly why would king give Rangers £20 million and then receive £16 million nice clean pounds back? Our press and authorities would be all over that like a rash, just like thye have done with other questionable actions from the now defunct club

And yet our footballing authorities thought it was ok to let the new team from the old team back into football while losing £1 million a month, I'd like to have seen that due diligence report. I;m used to people ducking and diving but the Rangers saga has reach depths that I did not think possible

Indeed. Had a wee smile at the underdog fans enjoying the team performance, occasion and deserved win, hopefully we get to do that next week.

Congratulations to Morton for a fine defensive display tonight, and to the fans that turned up tonight in numbers in what was a slim hope of victory, hope you enjoyed the night and it continues into the wee small hours. For me most of the regulation time was worse than shit football, it was boring football, late on and extra time were better fare but little idea of how to break down a team defending well the better team won

It could be helped greatly by a bit of simple clarification from the SFA , if they are still around and kidding on they run Scottish football, tell the truth about where we are currently and let others with a bit of vision take us forward

What a terrible post for a football fan to make of the people running his club, I feel your pain honestly. However it's tempered by the fcat that the people that allowed this to happen are the rangers fans, you made the enviroment such that honest Rangers figures with money could not take Rangers oin their darkest time, either in administration or stunningly to my mind when you were liquidated, I reckon, just like now reading the Rangers fans views on whether they are the same club or not, your feelings of entitlement meant no honest genuine fan with money could satisfy your needs. Instead it was left to the glib shysters to smooth the brow of the savage beast while sticking their hands in your pockets. You should have accepted that you had no money and cut your cloth to suit, made it easy for those with cash to come to the rescue

The whole stinking pile of corruption goes much deeper than the liquidated Rangers FC, as does the cheating, back scratching, and Cronyism

Go to most games home and away, no European trips this season. Don't post as much as eternal punch ups between Celtic and Rangers fans and Celtic/Rangers and diddy fans while our game burns is part of the embarressment of Scottish football these days. Still enjoy a wee trip away, dingwall is excellent although I have tickets for the game in a few weeks I have to give it a miss family pish

I think the concern of my fellow Celtic fans is how the 3rd division team has twisted Scottish football, while that has me disappointed, it will not stop me for turning up new St Mirren park for instance, or indeed enjoying watching my team

No problem, but it's in a wider context than my involvement with Celtic, it's been a superb season for me, the games against Barcelona the high point so far, Rangers making an arse of Scottish football as well as themselves is the disappointing part

As I was writing it I honestly wondered who would respond with that and in what form Celtic are in a difficult position in the SPL, I was reading the H ghosts post about a uncompetitive SPL on the SPL board (it's a couple of forums up from this one ) The SPL is the most competitive it's been for years for the vast majority of clubs, 2nd place is the real race, losing will it either be Celtic or your mob for champions has really only affect us

Another basterd verdict I'd say, disappointing but not unexpected, anyone with a fair mind knows the payments were not loans, equally Rangers did get an on field advantage at being able to pay more than they could afford to players, that's the bottom line Celtic's statement is wishywashy, understandable as impotent Celtic fans turn their annoyance to the nearest target, unfortunetly taking about not going back to games, nor buying season tickets etc Rangers cheating should have seen them take the consequences, unfortunetly the bending and twisting of the spirit of the game by the authorities has led to the shit being smeared over the entire sport here.

That's very clearly what should happen, however I do not see any appetite from any Scottish football government bodies to take on what is clearly a very belligerent new club. Anything other than this we may as well chuck watching the game here

I think most decent football fans are disgusted by the behaviour and cheating of Rangers FC, this new club seem to be going out their way to take advantage of that cheating

Got to laugh at chuckie Green and "we bought the history" aided and abetted by the mainstream media including the half wit of a chair on Clyde tonight, what history did you buy chuckie? the tax dodging? the fielding of non eligible players history of the club? nah he didn't like that very much, BUT, he bought the titles and cups and bicycle so the new club must have won them There is a Rangers, it's currently being liquidated and will be no more, chuckie set up a different club and bought the assets murray park, Ibrox, the trophy room, the new club never won these trophies, Rangers did. I actually blame the footballing authorities for not saying what we all know, Rangers will be dead shorty, along with their history...they are too terrified to upset the peepil, they apparently were tuped over to the new club along with the players SFA/SPL what arses
