  1. Wonder why they changed it? he'll be cited for goading at a press conference, wait that's the the rule they are making up on Monday They most likely changed it the day after, we'll need to wait and see
  2. Interestingly on Celticminded a discussion around this, noticed the two examples given earlier in this thread as precedent for citing gestures to the crowd were before this, https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/teams/rangers/new-sfa-rule-means-players-can-t-be-charged-over-gestures-1-4564160
  3. That's the full Broonie Of course there's the half Broonie, where he obviously thinks its not as big a deal but it should be celebrated
  4. Class again ? If it's the events during the game then I have no real issues with them, he's paid to win. He did nothing that you will not see in lots of games If it's for a gesture to Rangers fans I've already said I would have did a lot more and accepted the punishment He's being sanctioned according to precedent and quite a few other players apparently , reading the links provided I did not see the phrase " lack of class" used be interesting if it was used in the game threads on here
  5. Arfield seemingly likes it, but Brown reacts correctly to it
  6. Yup for me anyway I'd certainly agree that fans dishing it out to players then get upset when players react by a gesture are arses imo , particularly given the nature the stuff Brown has to listen to.
  7. It's for the GIRUY. To be honest IMO Brown should ran through the entire range of offensive gestures towards people who sing ridiculous songs about his family
  8. Don't think we should that upset by this. Brown had his fun and as the Hibs fan pointed out there is a precedent for citing an offensive gesture to opposition fans, even your own fans if hes correct about Griffiths. Has he been offered the 1 match ban that Griffiths offensive act received?
  9. Its glorious, he could be a poster on here with his logic
  10. I thought he was intimating a difference between Rodgers and Lennon management style, I'm sure he'll clarify
  11. How to celebrate I normally give the players a thumbs up signal. Exception was when we beat Manu, I gave the usual thumbs up then vomited, all rather unpleasant particularly for the lad in front of me, luckily the hood of his parka contained most splashes
  12. He could have been enraged that Brown was announced as man of the match, he might have thought it was Forrest and was going to tell him
  13. He is walking a hell of a long way to defend Rangers supporters, Gerrard should be including Halliday in the fines for doing that
  14. Is that Halliday walking with some purpose towards Brown and Bain?
  15. One aggressor, Halliday. No one else was bothered until Halliday raced to Brown and Bain which started the rammy
  16. You'd be upset if your offspring hits you with a bottle because he seen you picking your nose, unpleasant but not 20 stitches worth
  17. See yon Brown and his sectarian goading it needs to stop
  18. Lots of footballers, and some officials cause supporter unrest to some degree or other, and at most games , you must have seen a tackle from a opposition player, or even the worse decision ever by an ref at your particular game that caused you to go apoplectic or even to stand quickly up along with fellow supporters and muse how wrong the decision was or was not. That's football, it generally causes emotion , disturbance, agitation etc etc it's why lots of people get hooked I'm unaware of any undue unrest from Rangers fans in the stadium caused by Brown, although my opinion is fans at this particular fixture, and maybe Morton v St Mirren do exhibit disproportionate reactions to the assistant ref getting a shy wrong. However there are limits, a Canotna flying kick is unacceptable clearly. Rangers players lost the plot, Morelos over reacts, his European disciplinary record sorta backs that up, Kent just lost a goal and was duely upset albeit his reaction was the worse of the afternoon, Halliday is Rangers mad with the emphasis on the mad. Stevie G spent a lot of money on that team, having it confirmed in one game that the season was over officially might have been a contributing factor to the indiscipline of his platers
  19. The Brown angle means we, well Rangers fans, are not talking about their season being over against expectations from Gerrard. Also not talking about the indiscipline amongst the Rangers players with elbows, punches, and losing the plot, can Gerrard control his players? Expect Traynor to be setting up the laager of being victimised over the next few days, they have nothing else to engage the fans with I don't want to talk about a link between Brown and assaults , thats simplistic, wrong and letting Rangers players off the hook
  20. Glad to see 2 others have joined me in contributing. H ow much cash have Rangers fan been robbed of
  21. Me, Alex Rae is his name, the deflection by some because Rangers players could not control themselves in yesterday's game is expected.
