  1. Pretty sure protestants are more than welcome to walk outside the church, as I'm sure they do currently....a bigoted bunch of funny dressed yobs being anti Catholic not so much Edited to add.......even the orange lodge , and the vanguard bears if they want, can walk pass the church, just not when a Easter mass is happening. There are 65 churches I think in Glasgow, thousands of streets and roads , parks too. Canny be too hard to find somewhere to march where Catholics are not praying
  2. " Teams of great historical importance" I like that. We could finish 9th and still get in the champions league, just like England lol
  3. Do Rangers even have a stable financial state? I'm not sure where the money is coming from now, Celtic will spend, can Rangers?
  4. I thought we had just negotiated a 5 year deal with Sky with guarenteed Rangers / Celtic games that we then renegotiated downwards due to Rangers not being in the SPL
  5. Yeah ,it was a question you asked, a reasonable one at that. We can only go on when Rangers were allowed into the lowest division we had apocalyptic warnings about SPL clubs from SPL clubs going bankrupt within months due to their loss and having to redo the TV deal. Well nothing happened, no clubs went to the wall. It's really up to the home team to decide how many away fans they allow in, they either want the extra cash or can afford to do without it. However imo Rangers are quite right to try and get the best results for their fans just as kilmarnock are, however Killie hold all the cards. I'm interested I seeing how many Killie fans are in the stadium in the Rangers game, might be hugely better due to their celebrations for various reasons, th and this becoming a cause celebre. I'm reminded the surcharge Celtic and Rangers forced on other clubs for handling tickets, it was shit thing to do Wow the rage must have been pent-up for a while, it was a definate dam buster
  6. So Killie will have three sides of the stadium and the two dressing rooms
  7. Wow, that's stunning .....dont know what to say about that, I just assumed a journalist that knows nothing about football penned the article and it would change once someone that does know about football read it
  8. It was not a dig. Killie need to look after their own fans as all clubs do, reading like Kilmarnock fans on here are not too worried if it reduces income on the day
  9. Kilmarnock can fill the three stands? Is that a guarenteed £120k they are turning down if they cannot
  10. This will be the pinnacle of the Scottish season, great football I'm sure , great goals and Hearts and Hearts fans should enjoy watching that.
  11. I think it formed part of the evidence in the current Proposed Restriction of Outside Remuneration etc. of MSPs Bill I should have put the study for you to make your own mind up, I cannot find the original data, and it's not that current, but in my opinion still valid, https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/mar/10/mps-with-highest-outside-earnings-are-less-active-in-parliament-study-finds
  12. There is evidence the highest earning MPs, outwith their wages, in Westminster contribute less in debates and submit considerably less questions. I dont know the quality of their participation. If Douglas Ross was my MP and it looked like universal credit was heading my way I'd want him to be involved in that debate rather than being a linesman in Portugal or wherever it was. Did not even need to put in for a holiday or unpaid leave of absence like most of us would need to.
  13. Yet Paisley is still a honourable friend. The principles used in public life were originated because of the cash for questions scandal in the mid 90's I mention Cameron thought lobbying would be the next big scandal in politics said he was going to tackle it, has been told he'll need to wait until July this year before he can start lobbying on behalf of the various companies he has a commercial deal with
  14. Not sure he did anything illegal but against "the rules" I would suggest that although he is a poster child for tightening the rules by right of his chronic stupidity ( one of the worse attenders at house of commons , but highest expense claims £250 k) he is by no means the worse. There is too much gray area around MPs and being paid for "work" outside parliament, I have no idea what Ian Blackford does that merits 3k a month, or Tories like Na***** Zahawi earning £30 k a month from a oil company for 8 to 21 hours a week, shame he "lost" that job when he failed to get the department for energy.
  15. Not sure you pointed out where I said MPs should cease other activities. Ian Paisley took free family holidays worth certainly £50 k and likely up to £100k from the Sri Lankan government , I consider that a fortune for a couple of holidays. He later wrote to Cameron to lobby against a UN resolution against Sri Lanka. Ian Paisley is not only a current member of Parliament, he's feted by our government
  16. Where have I said that given you have quoted me? ReductIon to the ridiculous argument in operation methinks
  17. He's certainly not a simple crofter, he's held high positions as an investment banker with several high profile banks and companies. The Daily mail is a Tory rag I don't agree that our MPs should be allowed to be taking, what ordinary people consider fortunes, just because we voted for them. I would hope a independent country would have much tighter control on this. A bill is going through the Scottish parliament currently, in fact the consultation period has just finished which puts much more controls in place as regards outside remuneration of MSPs. My opinion is we should go further, the absurdity of nothing happening to the DUP MPs for jaunts to Israel and Sri Lanka shows up imo the corruption of Westminster
  18. I like Ian Blackford and I want Scottish independence, but chairman of a investment company at 3k a month, I thought he had a full time job? Be nice if in a independent country we could get rid of the UK political snouts in troughs mentality
  19. Too busy with citing Rangers players and mangement, in fact they might need a second compliance officer just to deal with Rangers
