Don't know if anyone caught the Daytona 24 this weekend, pretty good racing. Strange finish though, you would have thought the important part of a 24hr race is to let the race run the full 24hrs......IMSA decided to through the chequered at 23hrs 58mins in.

If only it was that easy, every team is looking for that 15+ goal striker, thing is.....you rarely (if ever) find them without a club in the Jan transfer window.

Back on familiar ground today, Loch Ness FC vs Halkirk in the North Caley.

I shot on manual so everything was controlled and shot RAW which is the opposite to what I do when out at the football. Heaton is the reason why I'm giving landscapes a serious shot this year, I'll get onto the other 2 and see what I can get from them. I think the issue I'm going to have is not so much the technical side, but more the 'talent' side, being able to identify the compositions and views I found really difficult, in fact when I was out I took images of 3 scenes....and the first one was so bad I've scrubbed it from existence already. I'll get onto the other suggestions, thanks. I think the issue i have is I can look at a photo and see why it works....but I can't get that when I'm out in the filed (so to speak) I think it's a case that right now I'm rushing the process and don't have a checklist to work through. I do when I cover a game or race

So since I started I've shot sports, and sports only. This year I promise I will get into landscape and will finish the year with at least 2 images I'm happy to print....the only thing is I have no idea what I'm doing. (as seen in the below pics). We had just gone through another rebuild of the squad, our 16th or 17th rebuild under Adams, and he got it very.....very wrong (Just mentioning the words Balk, Celcer, Fenlon & Dressen is enough to send shivers down the spine to anyone who had the misfortune to witness them). Then there's the standard of play, we had just finished the previous season 7th which was pretty decent, but we started that season with straight losses (4 in total I think by the end of Aug when Derek left) in the league, with no sign of any improvements coming. There was mentions, as always is with Derek, of losing the dressing room. How much is open to debate, some say that the players hated playing under Derek, some say it was just a few who disliked the repetitive nature of training, some say he was just weird..... The key factor (imo) was the sacking of George Adams, (Derek's Da) due to continued battles between McGregor and Adams snr at the boardroom level. McGregor has stated that he had wanted to stick with Derek so I think he would have been given time to turn it around, whether he would have or not who knows.

Yes......but also no. First time he left it was to be a number 2 at Hibs. The second time is a combination of factors, one of them was we sacked his old man who was director of football at the time and McGregor was a bit shocked to discover that may cause the son to resign at the same time.... However, it was also considered by some that his time was coming to an end at that point anyway.

I still don't know how that wasn't a red card for Robinson....I'm pretty sure a Judo throw falls under dangerous play. (it was, however, very funny)

Christ, does no-one remember what the first rule of "Adams in the Press" is? ALWAYS take everything with a huge pinch of salt. Like the qty of salt needed to melt the iceberg that sunk the Titanic...like, more salt than is in the Dead Sea. (In other words.....the same amount of salt that's in a standard Derek Adams post match interview) The fact he's been here less than 2 months and has already got most of Scottish football worked up over him is quite funny (and frankly after Malky I need this entertainment...because f**k all is happening on the pitch) Personally, there is an element of truth in what he said, epically about the poor standard at County at the moment. The standard of football in the premiership is not great either, but going as far as saying Morecambe are 100 times better is a bit much though. As for trying to send a message to our team as some have suggested, I think it needs to be done. County are far too timid/soft at the moment and there is no fight in that team. I keep thinkg back to when Loturi got chucked over the shoulder at St Johnstone and the only thing any County player did to defend him was go "But that's not fair" in a whinny voice to the ref.....rather than rush over and square up to the player who just ragdolled their teammate (f**k....starting to sound like Roy Keane here)

That's less than 2 months and Adams has all ready pissed off most of Scottish football.....some guy. (he does have a slight point though, the football is fucking terrible) BTW, love the Dundee fan trying to get up in the face of Murray....only to get shoved on his arse....

All other teams have come out with very similar (ok....the exact same) statements.....wonder what's caused the FIA to potential start a civil war with the rest of F1.

It was more a comment on the hyperbole coming from you.....my apologises that my cynicism and sarcasm doesn't come through. BUT you said It was the worst you've seen County play in a long time...define what a long time is. Does that go back as far as the Hearts game or Motherwell games from last season, if so do you consider the St Johnstone game from this season to be better, and where does the 4-0 defeat by Aberdeen fit into this? Trying to gauge how those performances could be any better than that (which I will admit was rather tepid) second half was.

Really.......REALLY. I mean there has been some utter dug shite produced by County this season (and the end of last season) but that 45mins was the "Worst County Side EVER!!!!"

The second half is nowhere near as bad as you are making out, could we have done better....yes, could it have been worse....hell yeah f**k yeah it could have been worse, heck it has been worse this season (and last). Adams has had less than a week with the team, lets give it some time before the hyperbole starts, shall we.

Morecambe are going through a very bad spell off the pitch at the moment, club sale and delay in wages. Don't think it's unreasonable for Adams to leap at a chance to move away from that. (all according the the fan forum for Morecombe, who seem to be rather positive about Derek, so he's not managed to reach the "argue with own fans" stage yet)
