OFFICIAL HEARTS JUGGERNAUT THREAD 2020-
Mr. X replied to SEETHING's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
We really shouldn't complain too loudly about this season. Third in the league is the best that we can reasonably expect, and we were only put out of the cup competitions by a club who's player's salaries completely dwarf even our highest paid players. Hopefully we can kick on next season and make a better showing in Europe. -

I was on your side FFS. I genuinely felt sorry for you being a Hibby. -

Embarrassing not being able to beat a rival club at Hampden. -

Give him a break, he's been desperate to cheer something for weeks, and it was never going to be Hibs. -
2023/24 Scottish Premiership Predictor
Mr. X replied to RossBFaeDundee's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Finished freakily well in 22/23 under Robson, so the lazy prediction was for this to continue into new season. Predicting outwith the two teams to finish in the top two is near impossible. -
I enjoyed the 'Hearts are Falling Apart Again' song from Livi fans on twenty odd minutes. That was never going to come back and bite them on the arse.

A sell out home crowd too, what short memories we've all got.

I showed Craig your post.

Probably, I'm disappointed whenever my team is as high as a Meh. -

I think that covering someone else' badge displays a lack of class by The Rangers, but I felt Hearts response was over the top even if it was an attempt to appease the angry mob. -

I would imagine so. I've mellowed over the years and understand Hearts only had themselves to blame, but the hatred has been so ingrained for so long I think another decade before you reach the heights of meh. -

A lot on Hibs.net are the same. Reading their thread you would think Hibs have third place sown up this season and about to sign a dozen world class players over the summer to challenge the arse cheeks next season. -

That's the level of bitterness I was hoping for. -
Any news on what they're cutting the Cheeks allocation down to?

I think there is a notable group of Season ticket holders just don't use the ticket exchange system. I'm not sure how they could make it easier for some, perhaps through the introduction of a dedicated phone line for ticket exchange assistance, especially catering to those less tech savvy. If demand for season tickets is genuinely as high as some in the club claim, then I believe their is merit in ensuring that the limited number of season tickets available go to those that can attend the most games, or are prepared to make the effort to use ticket exchange when it's available. If the game doesn't go to ticket exchange then that's a free pass. It doesn't have to be quite as strict as the Bradford model, possibly the culmination of eight games missed in a season, without any effort to use ticket exchange(when available) or any special dispensation for health reasons, could result in losing the right to renew for the following season. -

Yes, that seems fair. You can have until quarter past 10. -

Something like the Bradford systems might work. From next season, season ticket holders must attend as many home games as possible. When a match is missed, the ticket-holder will receive a 'yellow card' and a culmination of four of these will result in losing the right to renew the season ticket in March 2024 for the 2024/25 football season. Fans can transfer their season tickets to other supporters to attend the match in their place and avoid the warnings. If the ticket is listed on the official ticket exchange platform before 10 am on the day of the match and does not sell, the holder will also dodge the so-called yellow card. -

I think they should reduce the number of single game tickets. I know there is more money in the single game tickets, but Hearts should look to accommodate as many Hearts fans wanting season tickets as possible. Especially behind the goal in the Roseburn. Looked a bit shit sitting empty on Sunday. -

I hate to get on the young players backs when they're only just breaking into the team, but I feel Denholm still has quite some work to do on his rage face and the intensity of his throttle.

15 loyalty points required to get a ticket. Crazy rule.

You wouldn't think that would be too difficult to sort. You could even take to anyone with one or more points excluding Celtic games.
