  1. I asked McGlynn about the jackpot/blockbuster signing before the Dundee game, his exact words were “didn’t happen, that’s why we went for Allan”  I was disappointed, so much so I didn’t post it on line as I felt it was a big negative.

    I contribute to the Rovers prog from time to time so here are some pen notes if your interested.

    Aaron Lennox, Young Aussi keeper 1st choice in the absence of injured Kev Cuthbert. In his 2nd stint at Raith after a loan spell from Aberdeen was cut short due to injuries in friendly against Dundee Utd in Feb.

    Rory Brian an even younger Aussi keeper of whom Raith have high hopes for the future.

    Jason Thomson, Ex-Hearts but long serving stalwart of the Raith defence.

    Ross Callachan, Club Cap'n is a bustling attacking midfielder. He broke through from the youth Dev side, missed the end of last season through a wrist injury picked up at Falkirk.

    Ewan Murray, No nonsence defender currently employed at LB, Ex M'well youth has played more recently at Southend Utd.

    Kyle Benedictus, Ex Wasp loanee In his 3rd season at Raith, passionate and committed is well liked by Raith fans.

    Greig Spence, Ex-wasp in his 2nd spell at Raith. (1 goal against Buckie)

    Scott Robertson, Ex Hibs and both Dundee sides, missed almost  all of last season to injury.

    Buchanan, Ex wasp and knows the route to goal.  3 Goals in LC this season.

    Lewis Vaughan, Youth product Lewis missed most of season 2015/17 with a cruiciate injury, failed to regain his place lkast season and was loaned to Dumbarton where his 5 goals helped Sons escape the drop but only at Raiths expense. 4 Goals in the LC this season

    Bobby Barr. Ex Morton winger in his 2nd season at Raith. He'll be hoping for a better time of it than last season.

    Ross Matthews. Another talented Raith youngster, he's a robust midfielder who spectacularly found the net already in this seasons league cup at Buckie.

    Iain Davidson. Kirkcaldy born lad in his 2nd spell at Raith, Can play across the back 4 or in midfield. Ex Sunderland as a youngster and re-joined Raith after a spell at Dundee.

    Dave MacKay. Another from the youth ranks. Was Cap'n of the development side last term and usually plays at centre or Left back.

    Jonny Court. Tall youngster who broke through from the dev side at the end of last season, can give defenders problems with his physique.

    Yaw Osei. Yaw arrived at Starks Park last season from Reading Youth Academy. Spent all of  last term in the Dev' side but has made a few appearances in this years BetFred cup.

    Andreas Thorson. Another youth signed at the start last season as a free agent after a spell in Hong Kong.

    James Berry. Kirkcaldy born James is a efficient and effective midfielder. The 18 year old has been at Starks Park since he was 10.
