  1. Would open it up to the whole pyramid. Non licenced clubs wouldn't get prize money but could keep share of gate.
  2. We're an absolute disgrace no fight, falling to the ground by slightest touch. Get McHugh off, might as well try Amartey in midfield at least a bit of physicality, not sure what he has happened as he looked good when he got a chance early in season.
  3. Really is terrible just keeps cutting out. Wonder if by making it available to UK viewers they struggle with extra bandwidth as today the worst its been in years. Never asked for refund previously when some issues but today I can't even watch.
  4. Thanks mate. Graham here I help out here and there with the pods usually quitongo corner cover the championship, hopefully have more free time next season. Davie done the interview and he did say how lovely a bloke Stewart was to speak to.Also on the back of him mentioning his grampa grew up and was a Montrose fan Stewart arranged a couple of tickets for a game a couple weeks back where they both got the tour of ground by Stuart himself on a busy match day. Real class act and they had a great day.
  5. Episode 16 of Quitongo Corner where we discuss the Scottish Championship. Listen on link below episode 16
  6. All three of us back this week to talk things Scottish Championship Listen here
  7. Maybe not a term they like at Ibrox but we will have VAT to come off that. Yikes is stewarding really that much per game. To be fair don't grudge them that having to put up that mob and their outdated nonsense.
  8. Interview with Stephen Dobbie about his career Listen Here
  9. Delighted to have Stephen Dobbie as our guest this week Listen here
  10. Probably wouldn't get him but worth sounding out Billy Reid even if just until end of season
  11. Episode 14 out now we catch and discuss the championship since Christmas. Listen here
  12. Pretty sure I remember him on Sky sports news as a pundit during Euros in 2021. It was before England v Scotland game and he did refer to England in a manner that he seems to identify with them more. Maybe at that point he had though he was unlikely to play for Scotland again. Can't really see huge need to bring him in. Midfield we have plenty options and younger players that will have more long term future. Likes of Kenny McLean seems to be a good presence in the squad and knows his role as squad player.
  13. Not a good scenario having manager going into last 6 months of his contract. Given his family are based so far away and doesn't suit for them to relocate to near Ayr doesn't help either. If there was real commitment from both sides I would have thought an extension would have been on the table after finishing 2nd last season even despite awful show in play off. Maybe then there would have been a bit more momentum, players choosing between us and other clubs at least see the manager is contracted beyond this year after a successful league campaign so get on board with that. It's not really clear what remit is on authority he has at the club. Is there any coaches that have come in that were clearly his choice. Goalkeeping coach change sadly appears to be big downgrade. Signings also not clear how much say he has on this, Given his long standing association with Sheff Wed it is a bit strange he hasn't maybe brought in someone from there. Are the young players from down south players he knows well from coaching his teams against in reserve or youth football. His remit on signings aside I'm not really sure we have seen significant improvement in players that he has coached. He doesn't have faith to give academy lads a run yet won't loan the ones on the edge of the team out. It just feels like both he and Mathie are stuck on their positions. Bullen had some success in the league position last year but clearly it has gone downhill. Mathie concentrating on longer term club infrastructure vision stuff when he talks, even mentions we have probably a top 5 budget so there is expectation we should be competing in that sort of area with performances close to that. I can't recall his really mentioning Lee by name recently or really giving him backing in last few months. It was his appointment. I mean 2 years is about average for a manager these days we have some positives in that time so I don't think we need to call it massive mistake in making appointment but its not working out and things are dragging on. Dare say Bullen knows he won't get another extension and given commitment to move away from his family will feel he is due is contract. A big concern this year is apathy I don't get to many home games these days living in Dundee now but from when I have been and from footage and comments read the atmosphere at Somerset is just very quiet not even angry just apathy. Maybe there is anger put tempered by what the club is doing off the pitch. I think a change is good for everyone now though. Bullen while it wasn't pretty did us 2nd place for first time in 20 odd years so hopefully that is enough to put him in the frame for a gig at club at maybe conference level nearer his family. 2 years in your first gig is respectable these days. Heck club and him can shake hands and use the family thing as the reason and they need someone they can bring in for beyond this season. Lets not drag this out, all the best Lee and cheers for your giving your time but we all need to move on.
