At home to dundee in play off final.
Utterly appalling way to end our run in top league. Game was gone after 5 minutes

Am I right in thinking the Howard Arms and the Brass & Granite are no longer open?
Yeah both closed

Think our bench was stronger than celtics, and the changes we made turned the game more in our favour midway through second half. Celtics subs weakened the team, the left back was particulary bad

As far as I can see KVV hasn’t played a competitive game since 24/11/23. Ten weeks ago. Throw in the wean being born etc., things clearly not working at his ‘new’ Club etc. and I strongly doubt he is anywhere near match fitness. Could be a piece of brilliance by Killie or one of the absolute worst loan deals in recent Scottish football top flight history.
I’d still expect him to be on the bench and get 15 or 20 mins if Killie are coasting or chasing a goal for the equaliser/winner ().
However, if the above is an accurate assessment of where mad Kev is, and the bold yin walks on and scores we’d be as well just forfeiting all remaining fixtures this season 0-3 and take our chances in the Play Off (sorry Livi).
It would show just how bad we are at the back and would be just another painful low in a season of troughs.
KVV didn’t train with his team mates today…
Hopefully whoever we play… Vassel, Watkins and Stewart can tire out the Motherwell defence before we unleash KVV….

They could at least have brushed the shag pile behind him.
When tomorrow is out the way - I'm actually quite interested to see how he does when he isn't the main man at Killie. With us he clearly fucking *loved* all that stuff and wasn't happy when he was playing 2nd fiddle to Tony Watt when he was having his once in a career purple patch. We basically spent the 2nd half of last season with him as the face of everything and I get the feeling that him not getting anything like that in Groningen was part of the problem from his point of view.
Also - 99 is a tragic number - I would have it banned in the articles of association.
No matter how he plays. We wont have another game against you this year, so hopefully your stress levels can drop off a bit

It was pointed out to me yesterday that a struggling West Brom might be a concern for McInnes if we continue to do well.
McInnes will stay with Killie until Sir Steve Clarke leaves Scotland…

Good signing for you. I honestly reckon he will be your best centre half for rest of season
No shame in not getting in our team with Mayo/Deas/Findlay/Wright/Ndaba in centre defence

If they wanted him I would be happy for him to go to Somerset. I know lots of players have moved between the clubs but can’t remember any on loan.
Innes Cameron a few years back

If it was any of those I would go for Bruce Anderson
Rumours are that Killie have him tied up on PCA

He's a brilliant signing when on form but never suited the direct style Derek wanted to play.
He played off the striker for us too. Just never clicked.
He got a move to the rangers after his spell at Aberdeen. Dont think he could have been that bad… though the rangers did have budget issues…

So why is everyone saying your front two will be Stewart and Watkins?
Nobody knows how we will ine up.
Vassell had more injuries than Watkins so maybe that

I must have missed this, but is Vassell leaving?
Dont think so.
Bought a house in Killie last year and loves the area and is a great captain for us

Stewart was talking about wanting to play as a striker in a two on the Open Goal podcast and you'd have to imagine he'd already spoken to McInnes by this point.
He will be one of two up front as we have wingers.

He tore it up for us in those six months playing as the second striker in a two, hoping McInnes doesn't do what he did at Aberdeen and stick him out wide constantly.
He will be one of two central.
We have Armstrong, Kennedy and GMS playing wide

McBookie suspended betting means that they’ve taken enough bets that it isn’t worth offering it anymore.
It could still be absolutely anyone and I doubt the club are close to appointing anyone.
They take betting down at night

Number of seats above the terracing is around a total of 800, I think.
Around 250 of that is planned to be for hospitality folks, with the other 550ish being general admission.
thanks all for replies
250 is a big number, think we have 100 at our 1869 suite - so if full every game, that will help your income

Watched the goals from yesterday online and seen the north stand progressing. Have a few questions if anyone can answer..
Have you kept the old north terracing at front or built new?
How many seats will stand part have?
When is it due to open?
I have business in South Ayrshire and had looked at hospitality when we played you, and due to covid/lack of availability i could not book, so be good to know whats in plans..had a look at your website and no mention!

You can crow all you want about us not being a "proper club" but, if we're going to play that game, do you not think your set up at Rugby Park is one of the more embarrassing ones in the Premiership? I mean who in their right mind thought an 18,000 seater stadium would be appropriate for Killie? At least we have the SPFL to blame for our oversized stadium. And, even after spending money to swap capacity for office space, your crowd today was noticeably sparse. I don't know why you insist on restricting Celtic to that one stand when you have so many empty seats. Is that what a proper club does? Or one that would rather pretend to be one of the big boys than act in their own best interests?
Congratulations on the result. I, for one, enjoy seeing teams punch above their weight. Especially when it's against one of the Old Firm. But, f**k me, have a think about your own club's inadequacies before you make such snobbish remarks.
When Rugby Park was upgraded in our first year back in the top league in the mid 90’s our average crowd was around 10000. Why would we plan to build a ground with a smaller capacity? The mistake we made was cramming in too many seats. A stadium with 30% more room would maybe have led to a capacity of 13-14000? Maybe a more reasonable number
We restrict the old firm fans to one stand to allow our home fans feel safer, as when they had two at both ends it was intimidating for our home fans. The club listened to our fans and the atmosphere at game end is certainly better. Good to see St Mirren follow suit and ew dont miss out financially as more home fans buy tickets for family stand( who maybe still do not attend OF games)

What happened to Mayo. No sure if he would be worth looking at again.
Played 34 games for Killie last season. Would have probably played 37, barring fact he could not play against rangers. Started nervious but came onto a game as season progressed...played 33 games last year for you.
I would probably have him 50/50 to sign for us on a basis that rangers keep a % of future sales like McRorie at Aberdeen or Kelly at Livingston. Dont think he is good enough for rangers and now aged 23 So he will move on i think..
PS sorry you guys lost yesterday. Would much prefer you in league, than ross county..

Fair enough I didn’t know that however it still doesn’t make any sense as to why you wouldn’t play a full strength side in both games? Surely you want to try get something from both games? If the cup game was midweek fair enough but not the next weekend.
Most killie fans I know agree….If we were to pick one game to win, it would be next week.

Probably been asked loads of times, but why do they use the upper tier of the stand for away fans, instead of the bottom?
The prevailing wind is into the away stand. If it rains you at least get some shelter higher up.
I’m sure that when we first built our new ground, we had home fans in that stand and soon moved to the other side after a year or two of rain in their faces!
