I don’t grudge Hamilton their win. They defended brilliantly and their goalie has made a couple of freakish saves that go in 99 times out of 100. This notion that we somehow didn’t play well in the second half is absolute pish, thought. It’s literally beyond some of our fans to understand that one team doesn’t have to be good and the other bad when one team wins. Both can play well in different ways and the result sometimes goes one way and it sometimes goes the other. It’s much easier and straight forward for idiots to think win = good and lose = bad.

Some folk utterly unable to separate result with performance. First half was really bad. Then we attacked pretty much constantly for the second half, several chances and their goalie has made 3 outstanding saves. If Vaughan scores that chance where Fulton somehow gets a hand to it we probably go on to win the game and everyone would be on here talking about a great fight back. It is possible to play well and lose. That’s what happened in the second half yesterday.

Won’t get 90 out of Goncalves I wouldn’t have thought. More likely that Vaughan comes on for him and then one of Easton or Connolly to come off for Ethan Ross later on. Depends how the game is going as well, of course. Absolutely buzzing for this tomorrow. I missed the Rangers final and the Queen of the South one, so my first experience of seeing us in a final. I think Connolly will come in for Vaughan. It’s harsh on Vaughan, but him coming off the bench with 30 to go is a great ace to have up our sleeve.

Reckon Zak Rudden would be available in the summer? His contract is until 2025 with Dundee according to Transfermartk but given he’s already out on loan I don’t imagine Bowyer is that keen on keeping him. He’s a bit of a p***k but reckon he’d do pretty well for us in our system.

I’d have Nolan signed for next season by now, if it were up to me. Has improved as the season’s gone on and you can see the confidence that getting game time under his belt has given him. Him and Lang are good centre half pairing for the Championship.

The technique to keep that under control and cut across it just enough to get the dip and the swerve to keep it down, followed by the impact off the underside. Aesthetically fantastic

Agree with that to a certain extent, but surely it wouldn’t have been too difficult to sell tickets starting with behind the goals, then move up the main stand once that was sold out? It’s actually shite for Accies fans as well. Surely you’d want all your fans to be bunched together for a better atmosphere instead of spread across two stands, one being a frankly cavernous and sparsely populated main?

Seems wild that we are being told we aren’t getting anymore tickets when Hamilton obviously aren’t going to sell their end out. I know we’ve announced today that we have some more to sell but I don’t imagine it’s that many. There’s loads of Rovers fans who don’t have a ticket.
