No idea of the status of the railway grounds, but so much potential there for redevelopment in the future by shifting it over a bit Dont get me wrong, love the place as it is, but hopefully got the ambition to kick up a level eventually I'm assuming we couldnt knock down the Main Stand? Is it listed? -

Didnt Hopkin not say he was looking to have new faces for the Kilmarnock game or was I imagining that? Always thought he would try get through the group stages with what he had, whole week to work on things now -

OK.. OK, he's very unconventional, but hiy, Salkeld is at least he's also very unpredictable -

Wouldn't read too much into it. Hopkin said he was behind in fitness compared to the others, perhaps focusing on getting up to speed by himself rather than match sharpness -

Think the word I'm looking for here is comfortable, their goal came from what I thought was a foul on Muirhead near the sideline which the referee obviously didnt agree with. Burnley were nothing special and at no point did I think they were going to tear us apart. The Long Hoppy Ball was still evident, 2nd half we seemed to distribute it short every time from the keeper to Sean McGinty for him to try and launch it up top, mainly hitting the oncoming attacker instead. Stick to the headering big man Hard to judge us when we had Cameron Salkeld playing as a striker & Michael Miller at centre back for most of the 2nd half Shame we cant play trialists in the League Cup, looks like we're going to have to take a gamble when getting more bodies in, noticed on BBC Radio Scotland a few managers mentioning finding players of the quality they require is proving difficult -

Good wee run out today, not entirely sure the two trialist impressed enough to win themselves a deal in my opinion. We obviously heard his name being shouted, possibly Daniel Boateng? I'll give a Positive / Negative / Positive sandwich Mikey Hewitt & Paddy Reading look two totally different players since I can last remember watching them, good stuff What does a Joe Chalmers actually do? Goalie looks solid enough, few good saves and managing to hold it# As for Burnley, the obvious two were 9 Harker & 4 Mancini, I quite liked 21 when he came on the centre of the park -

Think the problem here is we're far to used to signing players with known pedigree straight up with out the need to see them as trialists. Could give you plenty of examples where we've signed players off the cuff and no questions were asked because they came from Aberdeens, or Hearts, Rangers or Celtics youth systems etc. If we're firmly relying on plucking out random talent from these random available players, I'd be worried. Fingers crossed we have other targets that can hit the ground running with no question expected These games should be used to scope out opportunity, but playing teams like Stranraer make it difficult to judge if they can do a job for us in the Championship -

To be fair, looking at the business already done across the division, we're certainly not behind everyone. Still a lot of movement to happen everywhere and plenty of free agents about to be picked up. Taking information from the highly recommended Narey's toepoker blog. The total in's vs out's (including Loans returning): Arbroath - 3 IN 8 OUT Ayr United - 4 IN 11 OUT Dunfermline - 2 IN 11 OUT Greenock Morton - 1 IN 13 OUT Hamilton - 2 IN 9 OUT ICT - 1 IN 8 OUT Kilmarnock - 7 IN 20 OUT Partick Thistle - 5 IN 9 OUT QOTS - 4 IN 17 OUT Raith Rovers - 6 IN 13 OUT -
