Did my "big shop" in Iceland last week so just working my way through this. Yesterdays macaroni was rank.watery cheese sauce made it a chore to eat and i thought i wasnt going to manage it all. tonight i plumped for a Fray Bentos steak and kidney pie. It must be twenty years since i had one of these. possibly taken out the oven a bit early. Pastry looked nicely puffed and golden but by the time i grabbed a fork and turned around it had flopped down into the tin again. Tasty enough, couple of nice chunks of steak and few small bits of kidney. think i will wash out the tin and use it as a bird bath Who the f**k am i even talking to??

If i still lived in scotland thats a cup final i would love to go to as a neutral. i think it will be an amazing atmosphere and id happily sit in amongst fans of either team. You couldnt pay me to go to an old firm game, Cup final or not.

Is it all road bike chat on the thread? Anyone mountain biking? I done 50kms today on my mountain bike with a few lads up the mountains. shattered after it but well worth it. Ive been doing some off roading too recently which is scary as hell but the tracks have been made specifically for bikes but what a rush I was scoffed at very early in this thread for saying i managed 56 mph coming downhill on my racer a couple of years ago and wonder now if anyone else has done it.

I was working with an Egyptian carpenter before and he gave me one of his business cards. It said he did kitchens, bedrooms and wall drops. i asked him what the f**k are wall drops and he said you know like wall drops to put the clothes in.

Jjust had my first and last one of these. Couldnt even finish it. Might go back to it in a wee while but i was rolling it around my mouth trying not to touch my tongue or cheeks with it. Very uncomfortable eating.

Things i love from Lidls. 1 - nobelaner beer, ten dinky bottles of extremely drinkable strong lager. 2 - vitasia noodles, tastes the same but a larger packet than supernoodles, koka etc. and as usual as much as you can carry for a pound. 3 - strawberry crunch breakfast type cereal, rip-off of the expensive jordans stuff but tastes the same and is a quarter of the price. 4 - white tuscan rolls, diamond shaped crusty ciabatta like rolls. 5 - pesto sauce. 6 - diced soft cheese, tub of feta soft cheese that has some kind of spicy reddish oil that can be mixed into salad stuff. 7 - chira two pack frozen doner kebabs. tastes ok but very cheap and microwave from frozen in seconds.

I like the one on the left she looks a bit like Liv Tyler. fairly huge but.

I cooked roasted lamb on christams eve and there are a few slices left that im eyeing up. Im sure ive eaten worse in the past. Feck it.

ooft! i have a bottle of hungarian palinka at 62% but i scared to open it.

noblaner beer from lidls. as much as you can carry for a tenner type stuff. extremely drinkable with twist off lids. also have a bottle of wine but no opener so will have to push the cork in or ask my sexy neighbour for hers.
