My son goes mad for the american sweets and treats but i havent tasting anything that wasnt sickly sweet. The most over-rated being Oreos for me. You can get crushed up oreos on your ice cream now but after the ice cream melts you are left with a mouthful of tasteless grit. I got a laugh before when i scraped out the white bit of an oreo, replaced it with toothpaste and put it back in the packet.

I remember first going with my old man around 1991. We beat airdrie 3-1 then clydebank 7-1 then Raith 5-1. In the space of 8 days i think and that was me hooked. This feels the same and i think any kid going right now will quickly get hooked like i was.

A couple of twitchers on the road outside my job taking photographs of waxwings. Loads of them in a hedge in nests. The industrial estate is full of rowan trees so looks like they picked a good spot.

Talking of old ladies, years ago at the gala day in Bannockburn top park there was guys parachuting and they were meant to land in the middle of the pitch but it was a bit windy. One of the boys was off course and landing way off the pitch in amongst the people. Everyone ran out the way and he landed fine but his parachute and ropes kept going and absolutely wiped out an old lady from behind who wasnt even watching. She went from 0-20mph in a second.

Alone. Film4 A young American woman decides to make a new start by packing her shit and heading north. Has an awful time. Really tense throughout. I would recommend it and say 7.5/10

My ring finger on my left hand constantly throbs in cold weather. Im thinking it could be arthritis. If i am driving i normally have to hold my hand over the heaters for some relief. Im reading online about finger pain and lung problems being connected and i dont breath so well so maybe there is something in it.
