It’s really embarrassing hearing Goodwin have to say ‘I did my best, don’t see why I deserve to be hit by a coin’ Fucking pathetic behaviour. Goodwin was a shit manager but he’s a good man and never said a bad word about the club or the fans since his sacking. Get a grip.16 points

Just seen a few kids trying to celebrate at the advertising board and get photos of the team celebrating, one steward tried to push them back from there, with a second coming to join a few seconds later. Wtf is wrong with these rent-a-polis cretins? They were literally kids, trying to enjoy a goal and make memories, there was no danger of a pitch invasion or anything untoward - how dare these kids try to celebrate and have fun!14 points

Not having a go at you personally but this is terrible patter. Let the bastirt be forgotten instead of making light of his crimes.13 points

I thought we were as flat as a witch's tit in the first half, no atmosphere in the ground either. 2nd half wasn't much different until the 52nd minute when the applause for Gary woke everyone up, team included. Once the first went in it was a foregone conclusion. Really nice to know that a man who was a lifelong Falkirk fan could make such a difference! There were no failures but no particular stand-outs either (apart, of course from McGuffie) although I though that Sean Mackie completely strolled it. Hope Henderson's ok as we'll need him on Tuesday.10 points

Wealdstone raider-esque "you've got no fans" outburst in earlier post, comment about how our current ground situation is a mess, and a tired, overused comparison to Gretna; well done, I think that's full house on the unoriginal QPFC patter bingo.9 points

The best thing about that game was the minutes applause for the young county fan who lost his life aged 23. Thanks to Well for participating9 points

It's also hilarious watching Johnson try to rewrite history and claim he was forced from office over partygate, when in reality the only consequence of partygate was not much more than a shrug and a half-hearted public non-apology. The fucker was forced from office because he knowingly appointed a sex-offender to government, lied about that, and made his own position so untenable that even the biggest shower of moral vacuums to ever sit in westminster disowned him, refused to work with him, and stitched the shitebag up.9 points

Kerr will only be moving on if he has been told he will not be offered a new deal next season. I know a lot of guys dislike Kerr's ability, however, for me, he is someone who has been a model professional throughout his career with us. Super fit, always gives 100% and is Derry'd oot his nut. Yes, for sure he lacks ability in some area's of his game, like crossing and getting caught out from time to time, but that's why he plays for us. A quick full back and good at tackling and blocking. If he does move on, I wish him all the best. Good c**t imo.8 points

Dunfermline are getting spanked on Tuesday, that's a racing certainty fact. How do I know? In 2010 when Flynn missed from 1 yard out at Killie to see us relegated, I was there. When we went to Cowdenbeath and got beat, I was there. When we went to Hampden and were 3-0 up at half time but got beat 3-4, I was there. When we went to Hampden and lost to a joke late goal in the Scottish Cup Final, I was there. When we went to Killie and just needed a draw to go up but got humped, I was there. When we had Dundee Utd at home in the play offs but lost, I was there. But on Tuesday night, I'm working and won't be there. So COYB and get it right up these Fife fannies.7 points

Linlithgow Rose 2-1 Bo’ness United East of Scotland Qualifying Cup. First competitive derby in 3 years between these two teams. First half Bo’ness were miles in front but missed numerous chances including a penalty before Jones scored a great goal to put them 1-0 up at half time. Linlithgow made changes at half time and were much better in the second half and ran out worth winners.7 points

I mean, we absolutely are the establishment club, but I'd say the ref giving big decisions against us before being shown to have made a c**t of it and having to reverse them, is sort of the opposite of, y'know....help?7 points

Wake up to a crackin day outside, the wee man has his kit on already, cup of coffee and Joan Armatrading on the radio. Good feeling all round already today. He's been to three games and never seen an Ayr win. He has a Good feeling for an Ayr win today though .... ....if not, he can go support Killie, the wee jynxing shit!7 points

Ok, I am the exact opposite end of the wealth scale than Sandy Alexander, but due to health issues and age, I've not got many years left ahead of me either so we are in that one boat together at least. I find that as time is ticking away the value I place on possessions, money and the things I own get dramatically less and less. Got to let go eventually. The point I am trying to make is I wouldn't be surprised if he left the stand to the club as long has his family are otherwise looked after. If I were in his comfortable position I would do it in a heartbeat. I wish I had learned this lesson in life much earlier.7 points

Never has "Falkirk 'till I die" been more poignant and seldom has it been sung with such gusto. Sad but proud of my fellow Bairns.6 points

Can we talk about duk? In terms of plucking a player from obscurity, this guy is up there with one of the clubs best scouting achievements. Or is that too much?6 points

I thought it was a nice touch that the players and ref stopped to join in. Relatively small gesture but I'm sure it meant the world to the guys family.6 points

Said it a few weeks ago, but I completely understand why he was how he was; basically being asked to cover the forward third of the pitch alone looks a fucking shite job. Suddenly his work rate has halved, and immediately he looks class for it.6 points

Absolute carnage in the Clock End at full-time. I am actually shaking just typing this out. The Arse. The Nal. The Arsenal.6 points

Just one of those days. Basically no chance of the play offs now. Just win this cup and prepare for next season now.6 points

Is Archie really faced with disdain in our support? Speaking personally, I still have a lot of respect for Archibald for what he did for this club, both as a player and as a manager. He should have probably walked/been sacked before he was during his stint as manager, but for the majority of his 5+ years he was really good in the dugout. Most people I speak to feel the same. Britton and Rough's legacies at the club aren't remotely comparable to Archie's, imo. Britton was a legend, but there's only so long you can make a mess of things in completely different ways before you become intolerable. A shite performance as a manager can be forgiven; subsequently turning the club into a shambles off the pitch and continually getting promoted for it, before latching yourself onto the despicable Jacqui Low despite the majority of the fanbase's open disdain for her really wasn't a great look for him. Alan Rough is an entirely different one again, in that he doesn't really give a shit about Partick Thistle and we've just been a vehicle for him to stay relevant over the past couple of decades. If Kris Doolan goes in either the Britton or Roughie direction in the next 20 years, then maybe that will tarnish his reputation, but I'd be willing to go out on a limb and suggest that he's nothing like either of those types of character.6 points

Brilliant night at the clubs speakers night at Inchyra (In Sheera if you are Peter Martin) last night. Just shy of 400 there which was phenomenal. £16k made from the auction alone they said and the final total from tickets & raffle etc to be confirmed. John McGlynn & Paul Smith attended until around 9pm to get home ahead of today. Some ex players there too Joe McLauchlin, Andy Lawrie, Neil Oliver & Jimmy Gilmour. Roughie was good although no new material. Peter Martin was very funny & off the cuff although I’m sure some won’t have liked his material at parts, in the world we now find ourselves in. Brilliant night though, well organised & sets us up for today nicely. Well done FFC .6 points

Absolutely, the guy is a Falkirk supporter and has financially backed the club through the darkest hours, and unfortunately has been subjected to some horrible abuse.6 points

I wish Sandy Alexander the best of health and hope him and his family have a long time to appreciate each other and enjoy his hard earned wealth. Dont like this focus on his will after death. Gross!6 points

Surely building the stand should be a pretty good Legacy? It doesn't sound like it's generated any money for him yet, the yearly rental won't have covered the costs of building the stand. However surely it can't be argued that is has generated money for Falkirk? I'd imagine it's got a higher capacity than the gazebo, plus you have the bar etc in the stand? Your deal with the council sounds shitty, but this guy seems to have done the club a solid. While he has his own interests he has undoubtedly had the clubs interests at heart aswell. It's doubtful he'll have the club over a barrel.6 points

I think if we win then I'm very confident we go on to win the league. If its a draw I'd say I'm 60% - 70% sure we win the league. Falkirk win then I'd say its hard to to stop Falkirk from that point on that run along with he huge kick in the nuts we will take from it. Listen, why worry about it. The team that finishes top at the end of the season will deserve to win the league. We've got a title race as we speak right now so I embrace that. Builds the excitement for Tuesday. That big game feel. What it's all about and I just hope we've got enough on Tuesday to take the 3 points and if we don't then it's going to the wire isn't it. I'm a sick character. Part of me prefers this than being 20 points ahead and it's a dead rubber. Surely we all live for these games don't we? Like I said, best team will win the league and to be honest the one that comes 2nd will probably win the play offs anyway if you seen Hamilton v arbroath last night.5 points

It just shows the depth of our squad that we can bring players off the bench who can make a real difference. Young Max oozes absolute fecking class and even the much maligned McGuffie is now bringing something to the party. For the first time in a long time there is virtually no one in our squad that I don’t like.5 points

I have watched Dundee for over 45 years through thick and thin. Over the last decade I have witnessed a decline in the quality of squad players not just at Dundee but throughout Scottish football outwith the old firm. Cammy Kerr is more than capable for the level Dundee play at currently. The fact if rumours are true that he is going to premier club St Johnstone is testament to that (unless we think we are better at spotting talent than professional clubs are). I have read P&B everyday for years but have very rarely posted as i enjoy just reading the threads. I do often shake my head in disbelief and dismay at the comments of our fans at times. We are a mediocre team in a 2nd tier league in a country with a mediocre standard of football. My love for Dundee remains but I have learned to mellow over the years to accept the reality of the situation. We are what we are and that isn't going to significantly change in my lifetime. However I can honestly say that I have always remained loyal to the club and although vocal have remained respectful and supportive. It's not easy being a Dee, especially over the last decade however the only real thing I miss at the moment are playing our neighbours ! If rumours are true Cammy, I wish you all the best lad and thank you for your service.5 points
