  4. Kerr will only be moving on if he has been told he will not be offered a new deal next season. I know a lot of guys dislike Kerr's ability, however, for me, he is someone who has been a model professional throughout his career with us. Super fit, always gives 100% and is Derry'd oot his nut. Yes, for sure he lacks ability in some area's of his game, like crossing and getting caught out from time to time, but that's why he plays for us. A quick full back and good at tackling and blocking. If he does move on, I wish him all the best. Good c**t imo.

  7. For us its probably a manager. Steve Lomas appears halfway through a season and has us 4th headed into split before we lose all 5 games. Something like a 10 game winless run between seasons happens before we beat Celtic. We then turn into the most exciting Saints team ive seen with Tade/Vine/Hasslebaink all strikers will to take people on at pace. He brings Tommy Wright and Steven MacLean to the club, and then brings in Mehdi Abeid who remains one of my favourite Saints players despite only playing about 10 times. We finish 3rd and match our highest ever league finish. All this combined with constant rumours hes on the pish every weekend in town singing The Sash, and rumours hes been flashing his knob to female staff at the club. He then jumps ship to Millwall amidst these rumours and vanishes from the managerial scene completely.

  10. From above.... I'd just came to Thailand and bought a wee motor, first of the family. Someone died, the wifes uncle, I drove the family all 6 aunties to the house each evening for prayers. Took about 40 minutes on their directions. Sitting during the said prayers and my inner GPS is saying 'what the f**k are you doing' End of the 2nd evening I took a left out the driveway rather than a right, with gasps all round. 10 mins we were back home. Absolute silence on the other evening driving there. They had been driving that way for 50 fucking years.

  13. Sorry but you'd have to ignore the facts to believe that. He said he had an immovable meeting with the Pakistani consulate. That has proven to be untrue. That was in fact a lie. This is like Would I Lie to You. No one is suggesting he's against equal marriage. He simply preferred to duck the final vote. Why he hasn't been honest about that is baffling for me. Incidentally, that was a free vote rather than a whipped one. Something the party as of late seems to have stopped doing. It's also not an attack. He said something which was untrue. Pointing that out isn't an attack. I get those who are reluctant Team Humza (I fail to believe anyone would be enthusiastic Humza) defending him but all candidates should be measured the same. On this matter he has erred. Pointing that out isn't an attack.

  18. Surely building the stand should be a pretty good Legacy? It doesn't sound like it's generated any money for him yet, the yearly rental won't have covered the costs of building the stand. However surely it can't be argued that is has generated money for Falkirk? I'd imagine it's got a higher capacity than the gazebo, plus you have the bar etc in the stand? Your deal with the council sounds shitty, but this guy seems to have done the club a solid. While he has his own interests he has undoubtedly had the clubs interests at heart aswell. It's doubtful he'll have the club over a barrel.

  20. While Yousaf has certainly shown a lack of political judgement across his ministerial roles, the most credible explanation on this which makes his actions easy to understand is that he's the one telling the truth. If a politician was seeking to avoid voting on an issue because they don't want to admit they oppose their party's stance, they want a pretext for abstaining rather than just saying they intend to do so or simply just want to hide an opinion they think will be electorally unpopular, that politician would not also vote in favour of the same bill at different stages and speak in favour of it literally every single time they're asked about it during the passage of the bill and in the nine years following it becoming law. It is a completely incoherent attack, and incidentally there is a precisely 0% chance it would still be getting dragged up to target a white Christian candidate about two weeks after that candidate stated their unequivocal support for existing rights.

  21. Buffer zones around abortion clinics. She's been very careful to avoid saying she would go ahead with them, just that she's against intimidation and harassment. Same with LGBT+ conversion therapy, hasn't said she'd support a ban, just that nobody should be forced to undergo it.

  22. Too right they should have abstained on that. I didn’t vote for them to actively enable UK nationalism in any form. The attempts of UK nats to try and blame the SNP for its own choice to tear itself out of the EU is some take.

  23. Prerty much up to the end of January I was still expecting Queen's Park, Dundee and Partick to pull away and leave the rest of the top 6/7 scrapping for fourth. Come the start of February that had changed to thinking Partick clearly weren't going to pull away and Ayr had built too much of a gap not to finish in the top four. A great month for Morton & Partick later and Ayr's gap is gone again. Queen's Park are the only side capable of being consistent enough to stop this going to the wire. If they get through this month maintaining a 7 point gap to 3rd it's realistically done for everyone other than Dundee, and you wouldn't bet against Dundee finding themselves further off the pace with Partick and Ayr to come this month. It's entirely feasible to see a scenario where the head to heads between the teams in 2nd-5th this month see Morton beat Ayr, Ayr beat Dundee, Dundee beat Partick and Partick beat Morton, or some other variation of that where everyone is dropping points. If they all cut each other's throats like that you'd possibly only be needing a low 60s points total to win the league, and that could mean Queen's Park are already only about 15 points away from what they need. The picture will be much clearer tomorrow night. Queen's Park win then Morton are done, as Ayr & Partick probably are too if they drop points in that scenario. Morton, Ayr and Partick win then the whole thing is wide open, with all three of them right in amongst it and Morton & Ayr then having the chance to go one point off the top with the game in hand on Tuesday night.

  27. 1991 League Cup semi-final Dunfermline Vs Airdrie starring Davie Moyes was played at Tynecastle.. Is that John Watson with him? I actually sent Moyes a hand written letter in the late 1980s saying I was a member of the Davie Moyes Appreciation Society as a joke, as I randomly picked up when he was playing at Pittodrie. To give him his due, he replied with a long handwritten response, and from the day I received that letter I really did have an appreciation of Davie Moyes.

  28. Taps in restaurant toilets. Invariably they are all push taps where the water comes out with enough force to rip the skin from your hands and only remain on for 2 seconds, making it incredibly difficult to wash your hands properly and soaking you at the same time.

  29. PERSONAL VIEW - I wonder how many people would hand over an asset work say 1/5th of all their assets for free? Say their new car? I do think people are ungrateful at times for the soft loan that is the MK stand. It is easy to spend someone else's money.

  30. I agree about the splits being a problem - a serious one. When you speak of dishing out hellfire to sinners, I don't agree at all. What the Free Church tries it's best to do, is preach God's will via his word to those who attend. The Free Church isn't dishing out hell to anyone, but giving it's interpretation of what it believes hell to be. Hell is absolutely spoken of in the bible, but everyone has their own interpretation of what the text actually means. My own belief, is that the gloriously hyperbolic language in the bible doesn't indicate a place with physical pain, torture and suffering, but is designed to let you know that you don't want to be there. I see it as eternal separation from God. What that even means is something I'm not sure of myself. The Free Church goes by the Westminster Confession of Faith, so you can find it's official teachings there, but I know from experience that different FC ministers will even interpret the WCOF in different ways. You don't have to agree with and follow every teaching to be a member either. The FC doesn't have teachings on Roman Catholics (apart from loving your neighbour as yourself, which applies to all human beings) but teachings on it's theology, which is a completely different thing. You could even argue that the term 'Protestant' is anti-Catholic by definition, given it's origins. I'm sure former moderator of the FC David Robertson has even described RCs as our Christian brothers and sisters, and I agree with that. I've never heard my minister preach on the Anti Christ so can't help you there. I don't know what the FC's position is, but it'll be based on the bible. Revelation is an incredibly difficult book to make sense of IMO! Ironic, given it's name! All it reveals to me is confusion and a sore head! When I joined, I specifically asked about Sabbatarianism, and was told to observe Sundays as the Sabbath where no work should be done, other than works of necessity. He stressed to me, that I didn't have to refuse to work on a Sunday if I had to. I'm not sure if this was my minister's opinion or FC position. I can't really comment on how Forbes sees the situation. I think she absolutely can put her beliefs into practice as FM. Holding beliefs and therefore putting them into practice in one's own life doesn't mean trying to force them on everyone else. My personal take is that God tells us marriage is between one man and one woman, so I have no choice but to see it that way. That doesn't mean I should try and force everyone else's marriages to fit that definition though. It's obvious that she isn't going to try and re-open the gay marriage debate. Put it this way, if we based all our laws on the bible, then we'd be prosecuting people for lying, adultery, using the Lord's name in vain, hating people, getting drunk and having impure thoughts! Prisons are crammed enough as it is Anyway, sorry for the long-winded reply mate but I hope I covered everything.

  33. It's possible but I prefer to think she was sticking her views out there because she knew it would be an issue and aiming for the reaction that I am having. The poor memory angle has been overused recently. Sturgeon did it to death. For a smart political operator who normally was all over the facts, her memory lapses had me calling bullshit quite a lot. I'm calling bullshit on Humza as well.

The next trick will be to keep around that weight but truthfully, I will be repeating the whole process again before summer. Down with my metabolism!

  42. Hopefully they are looking into it further than just Syngenta leaving the league. I'm sure if it was only that, then they would've been wiped off the table and all games voided. The fact the entire backroom staff then went to another club within 12 hours and signed all the old team's players really needs to be dealt with. If there isn't a rule or process already, there needs to be ASAP to stop these charlatans taking the piss out the league system again
