Borderline xenophobia on sportsound just now. Slagging off the foreign players who have probably been the only ones performing at any point this season. The likes of McCrorie, Stewart, Scales, Lewis, Kennedy, Richardson, Morris have let us down more so than Duk, Miovski, Ramadani or Roos.15 points

If you lot win the league you really ought to thank us. We sell you Jordan Allan and take 4 points from your title rivals (and we find it really hard to take points from anybody). You’re welcome!15 points

Mind the Rangers banter years when the Celtic posters would come on the threads and absolutely ruin it ? Same vibes with the Kickback dregs here.13 points

We've signed a guy called Riku Danzaki. Seems to be a Japanese boy that was on loan at Brisbane Roar.11 points

Been a long while since we had the luxury of having serious contenders for many of the positions of the starting eleven. Hopefully that competition will spur everyone on to be at their best. Looking forward to the rest of the season now. Our best signing has been McGlynn for sure.9 points

I thought the Dee had a good balance to the side today even with the swathe of changes made by Bowyer in the second half. Equally I liked that we looked like we wanted to win. it was a much changed side and yet it looked settled. Legzdins didn’t earn his keep today as the QP lads didn’t get near to testing him. Sweeney had plumber Murray on tap all day, the latter didn’t get any drip feed at all. Fisher and Kerr put in good performances keeping the crosses down and when Clampin came on as a left back, my goodness, a fast overlap and a goal! The midfield looked good, a combination of flair and brawn for most of the game and a fine debut for McGuire, Williamson was lively on his arriving on the pitch. Funnily enough I thought McMullan was having a howler until the subs came on and he suddenly transformed into the threat he can be with a great assist for a fine team goal for Jakubiak. A big shout out for Thomas at no9. He gave no peace to the QP defence and his replacement did the same. There will be s big cheer when Sheridan eventually scores. I was surprised at how ineffective QP were as they’ve been getting the results. A bad day at the office or maybe the Dee were just too good. Anyway I enjoyed the win, the performance and the players playing for their boss. Cheers lads ps Owen Coyle is an unmitigated grumpy deluded muppet.9 points

An utterly abysmal performance, I don't even think you can say it's downing tools, just a complete lack of quality. Is there even anyone out there who could salvage this group ? Enough about the Hearts posters though, who will be the next Dons boss ?9 points

The great thing about Ayr putting in some of their best performances in Friday night games is that the whole thing gets high-quality professional recording. You can go back and watch the whole of the slaughter at Tanndice any time for the rest of your life, instead of needing to hope some guy caught the good bits on his camera phone and hasn't had his YouTube suspended.9 points

The squad and season were horrific but that away strip was fantastic I thought.9 points

Jason Naismith has started two league games this season. On both occasions his team have been pumped 5-0 by the Super Ayr. What an outstanding record for a useless Killie b*****d.9 points

Booing your side back onto the pitch for the second half is huge behaviour and I have to applaud it.8 points

For the eejits at the back who don't seem to get it........ a predatory man is already able to walk into changing rooms and toilets and if determined to cause harm, will not be particularly bothered about getting a GRC. I say this as a woman and as a survivor of crimes like Bryson has been charged with.8 points

A fair few candidates for the Heads Gone thread this evening and not one of them is a Hibs or Aberdeen fan. "Quite remarkable, Geoff"7 points

On another note a crowd of over 2000 for a run of the mill league game against ICT is good going. A shite month financially for a lot of folk, shite time financially in general for a lot of people as well, so kudos to the home and away fans that turned up.7 points

Interestingly, when Goodwin went to Aberdeen, they were behind St Mirren in the league, as indeed they still are. If a St Mirren manager goes to Aberdeen these days, career progression wouldnt appear to be a motivation.7 points

Maguire did his job well and fought for everything in the midfield, nothing spectacular but don't remember him doing much wrong. A Byrne-esque performance with more attacking intent. Fisher looked very shaky at first but grew into his role and basically stopped them focusing on his side before he went off. Did very well despite the pressure on him, was also able to push up and pressure QP up the pitch too. Thomas was also slow to start in my opinion, but got more into it in the second half and had some really good hold-up play. Won a lot of headers and gave the defenders no peace which was key to tiring out the QP backline and had them barely hanging on by the end, but also seems to fall down a lot. I also reckon he should've had a goal today, missed a sitter (which was a deflection of an even bigger sitter from McGhee, who himself could've had a hat-trick today). Overall he was decent, but I couldn't stop wishing Robinson was there instead. Hopefully his fitness keeps building, looked knackered at the end (though in fairness he'd ran their defence ragged). We'll need to see how Clampin will manage when he starts a game, but he was the perfect sub to punish a knackered Queen's side. His run and assist for the 3rd was magnificent, tore up the wing and past their players like they weren't there. He enjoyed the hell out of it too, celebrated harder than Sweeney. I'm a fan of him already.7 points

Unfortunately, we had to have Toby put to sleep earlier today. He didn't realise that Mrs Gilp was home for lunch until he heard the treat jar open. He came running down the hall, slipped on the kitchen flooring and smacked into one of the units. When we got him to his feet, it was obvious that his front right leg was broken. We took him down to the vets for an x-ray, which showed that the bone was pretty definitely rotten with cancer. The x-rays were sent to various bone clinics for their opinions, and they were all doubtful that they could save the leg. They all also recomended further investigation of the probable cancer. Our vet was of the opinion that amputation would probably only extend his life for a few months, so we had to make the heartbreaking decision to spare him any further suffering. He was only 8. My poor big boy.7 points

I felt for Goodwin on a human level today. He is clearly a decent bloke and it should have never come to that after Monday. I am probably a bit soft, but it must have been a horrible experience for him too. I hope he manages to get a break and then the right opportunity comes up for him. I am disappointed that it hasn't worked out for him, and especially disappointed about how it has eventually ended. When things get that bad, it is pretty much open season. Gunn was also the target of quite a few chants today, but his role is still a bit ambiguous to me. Should he be in his job? Maybe not. But his title probably opens him up to more opprobrium in these circumstances than is actually warranted in reality.6 points
