Everyone will have their own views on the ins and outs of this window however what cannot be disputed is that McGlynn has made us a far better team with a far better squad than we had 12 months ago. I am one very content Bairn.25 points

I don’t mind folk taking the piss, but can people have some personal pride instead of just going with “something, something sheep”. It’s just laziness.17 points

"We at what I'll now refer to as the FMB recognise that to dismiss Goodwin would be a lot of hassle, pretty expensive and would amount to an admission that we'd yet again made an arse of the appointment in the first place. We've therefore decided to keep him. However dear fans, lest you turn on us, we also think he's a useless dick, and have told him that to his face. Thank you."11 points

See if we're talking next year about launching Jordan Allen out on loan cos he's not good enough for thr Chanpionship, then we will be collectively fucking delighted and he will go with my best wishes having done his job.9 points

My main memory of the covid season was Jock Brown’s love of Barry Maguire and being completely in awe of the fact he was capable of hitting the first man at a set piece with both his left and right foot.9 points

If you had even told me 3 months ago I'd be arguing for Nesbitt not to be dropped I'd have punched you in the face. But I genuinely don't think you can drop him in the form he's in. f**k knows what type of formation we're going to line up with now but we look to have some decent depth all over.8 points

So a wee boy Tweets St Mirren will sell a World Cup player for £400k and some a St Mirren fans thinks that is the correct fee? Rangers just sold a 20year old with 24 mins SPFL experience to Forest Green for £350k but we should accept £400k for a world cup playoff player? Juranovic's form was dire when he returned from the World Cup but Celtic didn't think 'oh, we'll sell him for £400k' . They said £7.5million which they got. Baccus is an excellent player who's form has dipped, like many other players returning from the intensity of a World Cup, but for St Mirren to 'fix' a transfer price at this point in time of £400k is just plain mental. We may not get what we hope but to punt him for peanuts due to a dip in form is criminal.8 points

H'es been not bad this season, top assister in the league by 4. Seems to be coming on to a game. In conclusion, don't talk about Nessi like that.8 points

All this chat about how much a player is worth is spurious. He is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for him. That is wildly variable based on from whom and where any bid comes, so throwing figures around is a wee bit pointless and certainly not worth falling out over.7 points

We were never skint. Just temporarily misplaced 4 or 5 hundred thousand navy blue pounds. But then we found them again and now we are back baby6 points

Cammy McPherson the key player, who has had 3 starts all season. No doubt Nicholson is being fed this stuff but it’s on a par with saying Gordon is now back to his best after one half decent performance. The positive reaction to last Saturday - our 6th defeat in a row - is bordering on hysterical from some. We played better and we finally moved away from a shape that hasn’t worked at all for 2 and a half years but Jesus Christ.6 points

He barely played for us last season as Gallagher was always first choice but I did think he struggled up front on his own in a couple of tough game at Cove and Partick Thistle. He was absolutely fine in that role against weaker teams though and to be fair to him, he didn’t exactly have much around him at Clyde and he’s done incredibly well there this season, so a decent run in a good team who create plenty of chances might allow him to kick on a bit. He certainly puts a shift in and while some Airdrie fans, myself included, were unsure how good he was last season, everyone liked him and really wanted him to do well because of his attitude and work-rate.6 points

Kennedy is also a total balloon. "Community clubs who invest in youth development and infrastructure"? You mean clubs who invest huge amounts in the first team squad by bring in players from multiple levels above to skoosh leagues and still don't get promoted, surely? Doesn't mean he's wrong about SPFL3 mind.6 points

I have absolutely nothing against the bold Baz but the current "Barry Maguire didn't get a chance at Motherwell" discourse on Twitter is fucking wild btw. "One of the best young players at the club"...he's 25 in April.6 points

This thread now mainly consists of fans of other clubs posting shite and failing to get a rise from Clyde fans. What sad empty lives these trolls must have.6 points

Horrific shout for several reasons 1) He’s on a two year deal 2) He’s far better and more important to us than Salkeld who was a bit part player. 3) If we release him we would only have 2 natural centre backs in Kirk and McGinty. 4) Prior to his injury he was probably our best player after Dipo. 5) Salkeld had done his ACL and was likely to be out for close to a year. It’s really frustrating that he’s injured and his career seems to have been blighted by injuries. Starting to see why Raith didn’t try and keep him however a fully fit Musonda is easily one of the best centre halves in the league.5 points

Poor lad didn’t really have a choice but to drop to the Lowland League due to 2 clubs rule after playing 5 minutes for Killie back in July, bit of a farce really. Wish him all the best but glad he hasn’t joined us although he should do really well at that level. Worked hard, just wasn’t up to it on a consistent basis in the Championship.5 points

The hypocrisy of Dundee fans making constant Gretna references and giving it the Wealdstone Raider style "you've got no fans" patter every second post, while simultaneously claiming that any slaggings about their dodgy financial past are unoriginal is very funny.5 points

McGlynn performing frankly stunning January business all things considered imo: Kinnear for Hogarth/ Martin Rowe for Hetherington Meekison for Ross Wright for Wilson ? for Alegria Huge upgrades on the 3 outfield players and if Hogarth and Alegria's replacements can contribute on a like for like basis I reckon that's about as good as anyone could have hoped for5 points

Alex Troup, or 'Wee Troupie' as he was nicknamed played nearly 300 times for Dundee in 3 different spells. I always found the 'wee' a bit funny given he was 5'6" which I would have thought wasn't that small in Scotland during the early part of the 20th Century. He also played 260 games for Everton alongside the famous Dixie Dean who I think still holds the record for most goals in a season in England i.e. 60. When Troup died in 1951 Dean attended his funeral in Forfar stating that he would never have scored as many goals if it hadn't have been for the supply of pinpoint crosses from Troup throughout that season. Alex Troup won 5 Scotland caps.5 points

He also sent a grand to wee anti-vax musicians in October 2021 and told them to keep up their good work. I don't think it's the case that Claptons brain has turned to mush, I think he's just always been a massive arsehole.5 points

Pollok 2-4 Hurlford. Great bang for your buck at Newlandsfield as always. Only went for the first time in April at the arse end of last season, and I’ve now seen 27 goals across that and the 4 other games I’ve been to this season. Pollok missed a penalty at 1-1, after which Hurlford went onto dominate despite Pollok getting an equaliser with 20 to go.5 points

Another good 3 points against a Largs side that have shown to capable of taking points off teams . Much better 2nd half with Taylor and Samson keeping up with the good goal scoring form . Great to see Healy back on the pitch . Slowly climbing the table4 points
