I noticed when GVB was appointed, he was paraded as being the 17th manager of Rangers and I've noticed that Beale is being paraded as the 18th. Are Rangers doing this to pretend they were formed in 1872 as opposed to 2012 and the club has a great deal more history than they really have?

At least it will prevent a long queue of away fans still waiting outside the ground long after kickoff because the guy at the only open turnstile is only taking cash and explaining to each person individually that he is tearing them off a paper ticket from a long strip just in case the game is suddenly abandoned midway through and needs to be rescheduled. (As happened at our league Cup game at New Douglas Park earlier in the season)

Why are teams obsessed with all seater grounds? Totally understand that some had no choice with the previous ludicrous rules but now that those rules don’t exist why not have terraces? It’s cheaper to build, gives fans a choice and definitely improves the atmosphere. A nice covered terrace at each end would make Lesser a cracking wee stadium.

I think anyone who thought Bangala was okay was very much looking for it - he made a few very basic passes under no pressure but outside that - he gave the ball away, didn’t break up play and just looked generally clumsy. He wasn’t any worse than Reading or JML though - very disappointed in both. As someone who has been anti McKenzie playing I genuinely think he is now our best option to play off Dipo - holds the ball up well, and does some excellent work in the wide areas too. It is very strange as he was utter pish when played out wide but when he is able to drift over to either flank can help create.
