Haven't experienced this in decades, but I just remembered that I used to get this all the time when I was wee - I'd suddenly "know" what was going to happen for a few seconds; what people were going to say, if somebody was going to walk into the room unexpectedly, etc. It'd happen in bursts, like I'd have four or five experiences over a few weeks, then nothing for a few months. I assume it's some kind of chemical thing in the brain that temporarily distorts reality and I grew out of it (or, y'know, the machines stopped changing things in the Matrix). Do any P&Bers have any experiences of deja vu that they'd like to share? Did any P&Bers log on tonight and think, "I knew that c**t was going to ask that"? Does anyone remember watching the video of a monkey on a goat?

Can't say i heard too much booing of the anthem or McClean from the away end to be honest. On the game itself, disappointing result and we threw it away - i've never been convinced by Matt Doherty in an Ireland shirt and he let Christie breeze past him. Will be having nightmares about that Parrott 1-on-1 for a long time! On the whole happy with the performance from what is still a young squad, we could have won it on another day, and think we're going in the right direction. Best of luck against Ukraine

Great shout. Hope it continues. I gave up my season ticket, after 35 years of having one, when they gave Pressley a new contract because I couldn't stand watching his team. Went to most home games for about six months after that, and quite a few away from home as well, but gave up after a 2-0 Scottish Cup win over East Fife (both goals scored early, the rest of it utter dross to watch, on a baltic winter day was the final straw for me). I had also gone to almost every away game for 20-odd years but have picked and chosen my games since that day. Went on Friday, and delighted that I did. I was also at the Kilmarnock pre-season game and was encouraged by that, but Friday was something else. Brilliant from start to finish, apart from maybe ten minutes either side of half-time when Thistle still offered nothing. It was great to see a Falkirk team full of players intent on attacking, the way football should be played. No repeatedly passing the ball right and left along the defence and then claiming 'we had 60 per cent possession' when you've lost 3-0, or any of that crap. Only downside was a couple of clowns sitting behind me who slated Morrison at every opportunity. Dunno what game they were watching. He got MOTM - cases could have been made for five or six of them, and he was definitely in the mix. If McGlynn can keep them playing like that - win, lose or draw - I'll be back on a more regular basis. They were a treat to watch.

Didn't want to say it last night so as to not bring the tone down, but there were some pretty awful people supporting Scotland last night. Sectarianism, racism towards Obafemi, the usual dreadful Harry Kane songs, some c***s near me singing about Bobby Sands and the Billy Boys, plus quite a few booing Scotland players before the game (obviously this isn't as bad as the other things but still embarrassing behaviour). Would happily never play Ireland again if those games bring these types out, and 7.45pm on a Saturday tends to be shambolic.

There's talk that the Scottish government need to do something or else high earners will move to England. The response should be telling them to get fucked then. We shouldn't be facilitating greed.
