  1. The Genital Inspectors are even failing miserably at getting one over on a defeated SNP councillor.

  3. Boring isn't it, just staying in watching the SNP win elections? Not for me, I like it.

  4. Good for you. Tricky to find an angle today but that's not bad

  5. Worth noting however that they came through a decade ago. The 3/4 years before closure the best we got was Kevin O'Hara, Scott Shepherd and Camreon Blues! The death of the academy was when it become the Forth Valley academy.

  6. Yep. I remember he was up in the TV gantry in St Etienne 1998 (in his hilarious tartan suit !) as we wandered past to our seats. He was shouting and waving and obviously supporting Scotland then as well - I dont really see the difference tbqhwy. McCoist is also one of the most even handed and likeable pundits out there.

  7. Scott Arfield and Stephen Kingsley both reaching major finals, and Murray Wallace winning POTY at Millwall. These guys might well have gone on to do well regardless of their time at Falkirk, but there should be no doubt that the closure of the academy was an absolute tragedy on a scale that couldn’t be fully appreciated at the time. It will take years, but I really hope the club can develop a youth system that can be even a fraction of the last.

  8. Only a few days ago the English press were playing up the idea of having four English sides in the finals. They ended up with just the one.

  9. My dad is in his 90s and still talks about the Cologne game in particular from time to time. He’s got dementia now but he still seems to remember the great games he has seen and the great times he has experienced following Dundee. Makes me proud to support Dundee no matter how bad we are these days.

  11. It likes voting Tory without the stigma of them being called Tories.

  12. Went to school with that Lib Dem councillor. Absolute fucking oddball. Remember he did his work experience in the school library and just substituted his school tie for a normal one and went around demanding kids hand books back. Takes a special sort to become a Councillor.

  13. No, they won’t have. It’s a generational / small town mentality thing. Historically the boat owners always voted Tory & the crew followed the skipper. Then the family of the crew followed suit. My family is from up that neck of the woods, albeit further along the Moray coast & they are Tories to a man. That’s why I don’t communicate with them unless it’s a funeral. I’ll always turn up to see a Tory in the ground.

  14. Moray Tories may be Scottish, English, educated, thick, rich or poor but the one constant is they're all Tory c***s.

  16. Durham Police now reinvestigating Starmer and that's now the main story to deflect to instead of Tory losses. The corruption in the UK is very real. Sweep, sweep, sweep.

  18. You cannot understand why anyone wants two certain Scottish clubs to get pumped each and every time they play, no matter where it is? Domestic football, European football, or, erm, glamour friendlies in Australia? You don’t need to agree with it, but surely you can understand it. I simply cannot list all the reasons why many of us think that way. There’s not enough time, Div cannot spare the bandwidth, and it would break the internet.

  19. Dry your eyes ffs [emoji1] It was full time, the place was bouncing and everyone’s favourite *** Coisty was giving it yaldy with the fans. Whether you like Rangers or not, it was nice moment.

  20. Similar here mate. My Dad was off getting shot at in some arsehole end of the world but my granda, his father in law was there and my dad spoke of getting it described to him in the letters he got from him. Years ago now but those days and the guys up in the high stand now are why I'm a Dee til I die no matter how shite things are at times

  22. A shocking day for the SNP as they gain 21 councillors.

  23. The atmosphere was exceptionally poisonous in the Main Stand throughout that game due to the number of pissed up wallopers the runners-up had in hospitality. I was in the end seat, on the aisle, right next to them and I was keeping tabs on the worst offenders with a view to having some fun if ended up winning. Even before the penalty shoot out was finished, I was escorting leavers up the stairs to their lounge while clapping right into their faces howling "Cheerio cheerio", etc, at them.

  25. MPs, MSPs, Cooncillors and activists should be made to wear bodycams. For their own protection in these troubling times but mainly so we can verify what the tories are hearing on the doorstep. As I suspect they hear "of course we expect the PM to get on with the job of delivering for the British people" rather less than often than "get yourselves fucked you despicable fucking c***s."

  29. According to Rahman on STV news, teams from the big 5 leagues buy success with huge budgets, Rangers work on a fraction of what the others can spend. This is a fairytale. I'm overwhelmed with admiration for plucky wee Rangers.

  37. Does the fact that post-East Fife match we picked up 19 points out of a possible 21 (scoring 20 goals and conceding only 2 in the process) not have quite a lot of relevance to us winning that title? Rather than just being ‘fortunate’ for Falkirk collapsing which in-part could’ve been down to us picking up form and pressuring them.

  38. No really we can always get beat and bring out a play about it every summer

  39. I can confirm I have also been blocked by the Alba frother (and several others as well now) simply for stating that his tears would lead to a weather warning needing to be declared. Shame that. I was just looking out for Scotland.
