**Fantasy Golf League Week 3** Tam the man A 6th career win for big Tam Pieters at the Yas Links. Can he kick on and become the top 10 golfer everyone predicted back in 2016 ? Hudson Swafford won the Amex ahead of household names such as *checks notes* Tom Hoge and Lee Hodges ? Standings It was double points in Abu Dhabi. 3 teams had Pieters, but @Slacker also had 2nd placed Rafa Cabrera Bello and so racked up an eye-watering 410 points including bonuses to take the overall lead. Early days yet though. A high class field are looking to follow in the footsteps of an illustrious list of former winners including Tiger, Els, O'Meara and Stephen Gallacher. The course is typical desert/parkland style but is remembered by most for the views of the Dubai skyline and the clubhouse that looks like the cute wee tents. After a quiet week last time, the PGA picks up this week with a strong field for The Farmers Insurance (The Fermers ?) at timeless Torrey Pines, the scene of some famous US Open performances including last year's by John Rahm. No "piece of shit set up, fucking putting contest" this week John.11 points

I may do many things whilst inebriated but I can assure one thing I have not done is go on an online football forum and accuse someone's father of shagging a man who has been missing for years.9 points

That was a decent performance. Aberdeen barely laid a glove on us. The end was bizarre; they had no urgency and carried no threat. Even at various points over the past few seasons, we've been awful and handed leads to teams but we've at least piled pressure on chasing the lead. I felt pretty calm watching that. Jay Henderson has a lot of development ahead of him, but I have absolutely no doubt that he belongs at this level. Great wee player; long contract please Saints.8 points

Burns Night always makes me think of my Papa. He was always involved in a few Burns Suppers every year and would disappear for the full week pretty much. He followed Ayr United for 70 years. Me being an Ayr fan is his fault.7 points

Potentially looking at putting together a book of his poems in conjunction with Jim where he would put them on sale in club shop and he would like to donate all proceeds back to the club , great gesture from him , hope it happens7 points

I enjoyed listening to Jim O'Neil. He took me to my first two away games. I'm not sure whether I should thank him for that7 points

Is everyone else remembering a totally different Will Baynham from the guy I remember watching last season? Looked like a decent enough striker at times in League Two, but I don't see how he'd improve the team much, as bad as Murray and McHugh have been/are. We badly need to sign a striker this week if we're to have any chance of even competing for the playoffs.7 points

I know Niall's time was long since up with us but I'm still genuinely sad to see the guy go. Been a very good player for us and Aberdeen has been a very good club for his career. He progressively got better up to 2017 as he added a lot of work rate to his good creative abilities. His performance at Ibrox when we won for the first time in 26 years was masterful. His first season when he carried a mediocre team was also very good. He was a luxury at times but an important one nonetheless and far more productive than the likes of GMS were for us. You look back at some of his performances such as at Tynecastle, Groningen and Rijeka, the importance of him shines through in all. On his day, he could turn a game single handedly or very often with Jonny Hayes in tandem on the opposite side. Approaching 30, in my time going to Dons games, we've had very few players as good as Niall McGinn was for so long. Prolific off the park as well as on it, a true apprentice of Craig Brown in the former regard! Genuinely sad and hope that some sort of ambassadorial type role awaits McGinn when he retires from playing.6 points

There will still be a crowd in excess of 18,000 at the game, £30,000 makes very little material impact on Hearts finances and I suspect that by kick off time tomorrow, there will perhaps only be a few hundred at most unsold anyway. Quite simply we don't need a full away end to run the club sustainably, and most our fans back the cutting of the Glasgow clubs allocations unequivocally.5 points

I think that says more about other clubs than about us though. All those 'viable' full time clubs around us are propped up by external investment or riddled with debt/ circling the drain every year. This nails it for me. We are where we are for many reasons, but the main ones are continuity and the positivity surrounding the club, both of which are obviously connected. We're not going to become some sort of Premiership level club who won't come back down. That's not negative thinking, it's realistic thinking. That means we would at some point come back down, and the odds would be high on it being soonish after going up. When we did, we're suddenly either a - one of the small full time clubs circling the drain or b - a huge overhaul needed from top to bottom club wise as we downsize in every area back to the level we're (unsurprisingly) back at. Lets just focus on keeping doing what we're doing, it's going pretty fucking well for us at the moment. We have a MASSIVE opportunity to establish ourselves as a Championship club, the best part time club in the country and a club that can easily outdo the lesser full time teams regardless of our status. We're in the process of achieving all of this, and if we keep moving forward as we have been over the next few years we will achive it. I'd rather we keep focusing on achieving the above in the medium/ long term than chucking some cash at some full time players on 1 year deals and moving in a direction that contradicts everything we've done in the past 5 years, which has put us in this position.5 points

Psychics are scum. I know someone who had a traumatic bereavement and one of their 'friends' bought them a consultation with a psychic to 'talk to' the person that just died. Absolutely fucking ghouls. They were probably hoping the police, in desperation, agreed to speak to them so they could publicise their business by saying they've consulted with police on missing person investigations.5 points
