  1. Watson to nod home a 94th minute winner in the 4th vs 9th play-off at EEP before pulling a Portugal flag out his sock in front of a raging Norrie McCathie Stand.

  2. Last time I went to B&Q some guy in an orange uniform asked me if I wanted decking. Luckily I got the first punch in but others may not be so lucky.

  4. Signing a certain player aside, the sooner we get this “Falkirk family” club tag in the bin the better. We didn’t have that until the last 6/7 years and was always too close to the “Celtic Family” nonsense for my liking. We had an academy & community teams way before that tagline was banded about so it’s not needed. Focus on Saturday between 3-4.45 and everything else fits into place.

  7. Yeah Watson wasnt amazing when conpared to the likes of Peter Grant at the top end of the league above, but now, hes light years ahead. Him and Dixon will be like Bonucci and Chiellini compared to the fucking dumplings playing now.

  8. I thought Watson left because he got a better offer from Dundee Utd rather than us punting him? Still, anyone that says they can't play for Dunfermline because they are injured, when they were actually getting a haircut and going on holiday instead is alright in my eyes

  15. Picked up a ham and cheese toastie in Costa and handed it over to be heated up. "You know this is a vegan ham and cheese toastie?" Whit? So it's not got ham in it and it's not got cheese in it so how the hell can they call it a ham and cheese toastie? And why do vegans want things that taste like things they don't like? As the lassie swapped it for a real ham & cheese she said they got a lot of complaints from customers about this "but not as many as we get from vegans if we don't have it". fucking vegans.

  21. Psychics are scum. I know someone who had a traumatic bereavement and one of their 'friends' bought them a consultation with a psychic to 'talk to' the person that just died. Absolutely fucking ghouls. They were probably hoping the police, in desperation, agreed to speak to them so they could publicise their business by saying they've consulted with police on missing person investigations.

  22. Hopefully this move puts to rest the idea from some folk that Dunfermline will just throw money at this and safely stay up. They are as bad if not worse than us and have an absolute impostor of a manager who’s recruitment record is shambolic. Paying actual Pounds Sterling for Joe Chalmers is mind blowing.

  27. I haven't heard any vegans get anywhere near remotely as angry as perma-seething meat-eaters when it comes to vegan food. A typical interaction goes like this: Gregg's: we're introducing a vegan sausage roll! Vegans: nice one, cheers! Perma-seething meat eaters: BLOODY VEGANS EATING ALL OUR FOOD IT'S CALLED A SAUSAGE ROLL HOW CAN IT BE CALLED A SAUSAGE ROLL IF THERE'S NO SAUSAGE BLOODY SNOWFLAKES LOVE A BACON SANDWICH ME

  28. It's wild how much veganism and vegetarianism creates such seethe in people. Taking someones diet almost personally. Who fucking cares what someone else eats? I'm neither vegan or vegetarian by the way. It just amuses me how raging people get over it.

  29. Great picture. A couple of questions lads. As a streaming customer on Saturday, and having just seen the highlights on the 'The Scottish Cup' youtube channel there was a substantial difference in quality between the two. Also the highlights package was obviously taken from the opposite side of the stadium for one thing, but they were much closer and seemed more focused on the action. Anyone know why the difference? Also given the great setting of your stadium why not have the stand on the opposite side in order to exploit that tremendous view? There must be some logic as to that decision, is the ground not suitable for a stand on the other side. Anyways it wasn't a red, and I've never seen Cammy Kerr play anything up like that as it's not his style. And as for the other incident I guess it was a penalty by the letter of the law, not a big fan in general of how that law is applied. You deserved a to get us into extra time at the very least. I hope you get above Alloa and Clyde and send one of them into the playoffs instead of yourselves.

  31. It was worth taking McGinn back for the 19/20 season alone. Honestly think McInnes might have come under some serious pressure that season without him. It is the right time for him to move on, but he has been a superb player for us - underrated and unfairly maligned by many in our support, but undoubtedly our stand-out player of the 2010s for me.

  33. Auckland in the North Island has been one of the most locked down urban areas on the planet since March 2020. It's no surprise to see that your family are just as selective in their focus on restrictions (I'm alright Jack) as their gormless connection.

  34. Watson was fine when he was next to someone who was taking the lead in the pairing (Grant, McCracken) and telling him exactly what to do, but was hopeless when paired next to a dumpling like that blob Gasparotto. Would assume he'll be on the right side of the back three which might suit him if he's got a leader in the middle. Dixon can potentially fulfil that role I'd think. Just great to have McKay and particularly Hall pushed down the pecking order. Hall should never be on the pitch again IMO - one of the all time worst. Re Keena, I've always liked the idea of him but then the reality when he was on the park was very disappointing. He is technically decent and seems to be a decent finisher around the box but he was never involved enough and doesn't have the physical attributes I'd be looking for. There's probably a level where he'd stand out as players get slower and defenders make more mistakes but he wasn't the answer for us. Ideally I'd have another centre back, cover at RWB and a striker coming in, but the priority absolutely has to be the centre of midfield now. People seem to want a destroyer/holding player but I think we need legs in there more than anything else. Telfer is getting a bit of stick on here but what's he meant to do when he's got Gary Miller standing on the toes of the defence and whoever the out of position show pony of the week is either side of him. Liam Craig would be a great signing in isolation but would still leave us lacking a big box to box player (Ben Williamson would be the ideal type of player we need but is obviously unavailable). Telfer, Craig and a big athlete seems like a great balance to me. I can't see us catching any of the top three so that QP game a week on Saturday is massive. I think they're the only team above us that we can realistically catch so we have to beat them at home. Gives us a little bit of time to get Watson, Kubia and hopefully one or two others into the starting XI. Not writing off the Montrose game by any means but that QP game is the biggest of our season so far.

  36. Our childminder took our daughter and the other wee girl she's looking after to some club this morning, which I think they do most weeks. They were asked to leave because the other girl (a 1 year-old) kept coughing. Not even the slightest suggestion of it actually being covid, just something that wee kids that age occasionally do. This sort of shite has to stop soon, we can't have folk terrified of coughing or sneezing in public.

  37. It’s just marketing talk - not really a big deal. In reality it just means the club trying to engage with the community and attract more supporters. Is that not something every club should be doing?

  38. Sad that the possibility of having to pack in following the team I've watched since I was about 10 because of some fat 33 year old creep from the raploch scoring a few goals for Clyde potentially entices us chuck out the reputation of being family club.
