  1. Have to admit that the reaction on here to the SG not making the changes they were expected to make (changes which were being heavily criticised in the lead up) has been bizarre and shows that there are now some who are so anti-SG that they can’t be objective about anything they do. I’ve been a fairly strong critic of the SG throughout, but yesterday they, incredibly surprisingly, didn’t double down on the wrong path, yet the same people who were criticising them for what they thought they would introduce are now criticising them for not introducing them. Ludicrous stuff tbh.

  2. I do too amigo. Aye we had a smashing date on Monday there. She's much more attractive in real life, which was surprising, and caused me to be delightfully nervous at the start. It's a change of pace for me as I historically go for lassies who I'm not overwhelmingly into, as it's less risky, but ultimately less rewarding. We talked a lot, which was pretty tiring after a while tbh, but after walking to her car we had a lovely kiss, which definitely cured the tiredness. We're seeing each other on Saturday morning for a walk in the woods (if it sounded sinister before.....) and I'm feeling really fuckin excited about it. Tbh I've never really been in relationships before, so this is undiscovered country, but tremendously exciting. Cheers for the support a'body.

  4. It's safe to say the minority are the few who aren't bigots in that support. An absolutey vile institution that will hopefully die again and not be resurrected. Imagine taking your kids to that and subjecting them to indoctrination in vile bigotry. Truly them and their pals at the other end of the city are Scotland’s shame.

  5. Fucking hell, not this again. Salmond is a creep. He has not been found guilty of anything. Those two sentences do not contradict each other. Sturgeon was likewise cleared of any wrongdoing by the independent report, so I’m quite comfortable with that. That’s not to say she hasn’t done anything wrong and/or dodgy, but that whatever she’s done didn’t breach the ministerial code. Edit: even if Salmond is completely innocent of any wrongdoing at all (not just criminality), the Alba Party is packed with complete crackpots who normal people would never, ever vote for anyway.

  7. Yer da shamelessly trying to cover up Alex Salmond's willie whilst simultaneously seething at 'that woman' and the gay agenda turning our kids trans. Never change you crazy bigoted lunatics. All 1.6% of you.

  9. There are some people, myself included, who have been generally supportive of the SNP before this and who have lost a bit of faith in them over the last year or so. However there are definitely posters on here who are trying to pretend they're in that boat when in reality they have been anti-SNP the whole time.

  12. A proper riddy that Rangers cant guarantee the safety of pundits like Sutton. "We dont like you so you cant come in". Good on BT for calling them out on it. If this continues BT should refuse to show their game and just show a replay of the 2016 Scottish Cup final or the Killie gane a few years back that absolutely broke them. As a paying customer I want full on petty BT here.

  13. Jealousy is an emotion I honestly don’t understand in grown adults. I don’t really remember feeling it as a child even. When someone has something nice, those affected must find a way to sneer at it. Not healthy. Must be so bitter and torn up inside.

  14. bit of a niche one this but I'll crack on.... Out last night with the Missus, we met a guy we hadn't seen for years with his new girlfriend. The guys a bit of a dick, especially when drunk and introduced us both to his new girlfriend by her name but adding in "shes the daughter of Keith West don't you know!". Keith West was the singer in Uk 60s Psychedelic band Tomorrow, who also had a solo record single reach No.2 in the UK charts in 1967 (pop pickers). Means f-all to most, but being a fan of 60s music obsessive i was faintly impressed. On the way home I said to the wife "thats mad, that lassie is the daughter of Keith West" To which the wife replies in all seriousness (and I'm sure you are ahead of me here) "not sure I'd be boasting about that with all the murders he did"

  19. That would suggest Van Bronkhorst’s team mates of the day weren’t sitting around the Ibrox changing room discussing the subtext of 19th century colonial literature, when coining nicknames. I think you’re being pretty disingenuous towards Durant and Gazza there.

  24. One of our cats has taken up knitting. I've cultivated a Santa beard since lockdown started, and it's now long enough that one of them has taken to curling up on my chest and obsessively kneading it with her paws. A few hours of that, and she's created some kind of knotted beard-scarf that I have to spend ages brushing out again. Even worse, this has to take place during the hours when I'm working from home; only a matter of time 'til I'm caught on Teams with a cat swinging from my chin.

  28. First game under lights I believe ever in the Midlands League on Saturday. Saturday is an exciting day for Tayport Football Club as our newly installed floodlighting system will be switched on for the first time for a match. The floodlights will go on at half time and the second half will be played under the lights at the Canniepairt. Now we have the floodlights the kick off time for Saturday has now changed and our match on Saturday will kick off at 2.30pm.

  30. Tons of good news on infrastructure. Training at Rosyth, Youth Academy, freeing up the current gym space to be revenue generating. Was really impressed by the investors commitment in the face of the abuse that Ross had faced. Also, really moved when Ross chose not to talk about his decision to step down, He was clearly quite emotional. I also really liked Ross talking about being back on the NW stand in the future, abusing linesmen. That's where I know him from and we should all feel grateful to have a chairman from the terraces. We may not be lucky enough to get another.

  40. There’s a difference between wanting to be seen to care, and actually enacting sensible policies based on strong evidence which actually make a difference. The remaining vaccine passports rules, for instance. Not a shred of evidence that they make a difference, people know that LFT’s aren’t really going to guarantee anything, but still we persist with the charade because they want to be seen to care or doing something. The tragic thing is, there’s a decent sized part of the population who put virtue signalling etc above substance, actually being a good c**t and so on. Leaders therefore play up to that sort of thing because it’s the kind of airy fairy pish which appeals to these people.
